At Glow Dentistry, it is our primary goal to maintain oral health in all of our patients. We also strive to make the experience as comfortable as possible. Our hygienists are equipped with all of the latest technology including ultrasonic scalers, which allow them to clean teeth more efficiently and comfortably and digital x-rays, which provide an instant and accurate look at your teeth with less radiation exposure. Also, we understand that going to the dentist can create anxiety, so we offer anxiety reducing techniques, such as headphones, blankets, and even Nitrous Oxide for those patients who need help relaxing in the dental chair.
We gladly accommodate the entire family. We happily provide pediatric dental services, such as cleanings, x-rays, fillings, and extractions. We are also available for dental emergencies. If for some reason, we are unable to resolve the issue, we will make every effort to direct patients to the appropriate specialist in a timely manner.
We continually strive to stay current on all available technologies and procedures. Dr. Gaxiola is thoroughly trained in restoring implants as well as cosmetic procedures, such as veneers and porcelain crowns and bridges.
Dr. Gaxiola has wanted to be a dentist since she was in middle school! She grew up in Sylacauga, Alabama and graduated from Sylacauga High School. From there, she attended Birmingham-Southern College where she graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Biology/Psychology. Then, she attended University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry, and immediately upon graduating, began her practice at Glow, where she has been practicing dentistry since 2008.
One of Dr. Gs favorite things about being a dentist is meeting new people and helping them realize that going to the dentist can be fun! She also enjoys and appreciates the many relationships shes made with her patients and their families over the years.
Dr. G is married with a 11 year old son and a 8 year old daughter who keep her and her husband Nick very busy! When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, listening to podcasts, and working out, especially going to Zumba classes!
