Before orthodontic residency training, Dr. Kim did residency training in Advanced Dentistry where she gained further experience in comprehensive full-mouth reconstruction, implant restoration, and cosmetic dentistry. This experience made her realize how critical orthodontic treatment is to the foundation and prevention of extensive dental treatments. During her orthodontic residency training, Dr. Kim also participated in a Master's research focused on bone regulation and osteoporosis. Her work was presented at the national bone research meeting and was awarded Distinguished Master's Thesis Award from the university. Dr. Kim is currently a board-certified orthodontist. She has been correcting malaligned bites and creating beautiful smiles in Rochester, MN since 2007.
Dr. Kim moved to Rochester, MN in 2007 from Kansas City for her husbands medical training at the Mayo Clinic. They are happy to call Rochester home. A mother to twin boys, she stays busy with their activities. When she's not bending wires, she enjoys traveling and cooking with friends and family.
Dr. Chad Larson is a native of Rochester, Minnesota. In fact, he proudly wears a GLK smile himself! He was inspired to pursue orthodontics after working at GLK as an office and laboratory assistant for two summers during college. Now, as an orthodontist, he loves seeing the transformation of his patients smiles and the confidence it gives them to achieve their personal goals.
At the U of M, Dr. Larson had the incredible honor of training under Dr. Brent Larson, his father, and former GLK partner, for whom he has the utmost personal and professional respect. He now teaches the residents on a part-time basis, showing them how to efficiently treat patients with the latest technologies.
In a rapidly changing world and profession, continuing education allows Dr. Larson to stay on top of the latest technology and orthodontic treatments to provide his patients more options and better results. He has been certified in Invisalign clear aligner and Incognito lingual braces and attends several local and national orthodontic meetings throughout the year.
When he isnt in the office creating beautiful smiles, Dr. Larson likes spending time with his wife, Caitlin, and their three sons; Connor, Cameron, and Caleb. Dr. Larson enjoys reading and spending time outside, and is a big fan of the Twins and Vikings.
Dr. Larson is also passionate about being out and about in the wonderful Rochester community, taking advantage of all the parks, trails, people, programs, and services that make it truly one of the best places to live. He is active in the community through numerous programs and volunteer opportunities and finds it rewarding to give back to the city that has given him so much.
Everyone deserves a great smile, no matter your age. I had braces for fouryears and understand firsthand the effect that orthodontic treatment can have on self-confidence. I love my job, I get to utilize the latest orthodontic technology to create picture-perfect, healthy smiles while building life-long relationships with patients and their families.
Dr. Seubert practiced dentistry for five years in the U.S. Air Force. He completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at David Grant Medical Center (Travis Air Force Base) where he gained further experience in comprehensive implant placement and restoration, endodontics, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and cosmetic dentistry. This experience made him realize how many underlying dental problems are exacerbated by misaligned teeth. During his military service, Dr. Seubert was stationed in California and North Dakota. While in orthodontic training at the University of Minnesota, Dr. Seubert conducted research focused on craniofacial growth and development. He is excited to have the opportunity to join GLK Orthodontics and create beautiful smiles in Rochester, MN.
At the University of Minnesota, Dr. Seubert had the privilege of training under Dr. Brent Larson, learning new techniques in 3D design and 3D printing of clear aligners and other orthodontic appliances.
Dr. Seubert stays current with the newest technology and orthodontic treatments through continuing education. He always strives to provide his patients with a variety of treatment options and a smile they will love. Dr. Seubert is a certified Invisalign provider and attends several local and national orthodontic meetings throughout the year.
When he isnt straightening teeth, Dr. Seubert is a devoted husband and father; he loves spending time with his wife, Jessie, and their two daughters, Vivian and Betty. In his free time, he enjoys drawing and painting, outdoor recreation, and is a big fan of collegiate and professional basketball and football. Dr. Seubert and his family are happy to call the wonderful community of Rochester their home.

Following dental school, Dr. Larson spent nine years in the U.S. Air Force, and during this time completed a General Practice Residency, spent three years in general practice, received his specialty training in orthodontics, and practiced as an orthodontist. Dr. Larson was stationed in Texas, upstate New York, North Carolina, and Madrid, Spain.
Following the completion of his military commitment, Dr. Larson joined the staff at the Mayo Clinic and it was there that he first practiced with Dr. Guenthner. During his time at Mayo he was involved in teaching and served as graduate program director in orthodontics, a position held until 1996, when he and Dr. Guenthner started GLK Orthodontics.
In 2004, Dr. Larson was recruited by the University of Minnesota to return to teaching and his current position as head of the division of orthodontics. With the support of everyone at GLK, Dr. Larson has maintained a one day per week practice in Rochester while serving in his academic capacity at the university.
Dr. Brent Larson is a native of the Twin Cities and raised his family in Rochester. He has been married to his wife, Cindy, since 1977 and they have three boys, Matt, Andy, and Chad. Matt is an orthodontist practicing with his wife in Eau Claire, WI. Andy works as an electrical engineer for HGST in Rochester, and Chad is now one of his partners at GLK Orthodontics. In his free time, Dr. Larson enjoys golf and tennis, woodworking, and spending time with grandchildren at the family cabin in northern Minnesota.

We tried 3 different orthodontists with our older children before finding Dr. Kim for our youngest and couldn't be happier! Our youngest has some anxiety issues but Dr. Kim and her staff have taken note of this and walks him through each step of the process leading to 0 issues! Dr. Kim has also been more than happy to do follow-ups with our older children, even though she wasn't their primary orthodontist. She has also been a huge help in lining up dental specialists for one of my kids who is in the process of getting dental implants. It's well worth the drive to Rochester from N.E. Iowa!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Kim and the team at GLK! I had just moved to Rochester when I noticed issues with the extensive orthodontic work I had as a kid/teen and was ultimately referred to Dr. Kim for evaluation. I was a more complicated case, and we met a couple of times to get images and discuss treatment options. She was very thorough with explanations and rationale with great attention to detail, in addition to being super personable, and I felt very comfortable in making my treatment decision. Ultimately, I decided to proceed with the more "involved" treatment option, which included removing and ultimately replacing old dental implants, braces, and jaw surgery. No one is excited to get braces again as an adult (had them for 8.5 years before), but I couldn't have asked for a better experience! There was great communication between Dr. Kim and my oral surgeon at Mayo when finalizing the treatment plan. Dr. Kim also came in on the weekend on two different occasions when I had orthodontic emergencies, and it's very clear how much she cares about her patients! I'm now out of braces and just finishing up the final stages of getting new dental implants. I get SO many compliments on my smile and have never felt so confident when smiling in person and for photos! Huge thanks to Dr. Kim for making it all possible!

Dr. Kim treated both of my children. She is amazing! The time she takes with her patients puts them at ease. She includes you in her plans and verifies with the patient before she begins the treatment, the timeline and the process so there are no surprises. My children were very different in personality and needs and she met both so well that they loved to go see her. I cannot say enough about the GLK staff entirely, they are the best!

I wish there was ten stars to give them. We have seen all of the Orthodontists at one time or another and they are all fantastic, as is their staff. Out main Dr was Dr Brandon and we can't thank him enough for his kindness, expertise and results he gave us with our son's, and still working on our daughter's, teeth. I asked our pediatric dentist, 10 years ago, which orthodontist they would personally recommend. I knew their referral of Dr. Kim and GLK was where dental professionals bring their own family. Her entire team has done an amazing job with all four of my children. I am so appreciative of how Dr. Kim has been personally available for emergencies, even coming in after hours on a weekend! I have been blown away with the cutting edge treatment plans which have corrected bite malocclusion issues. Dr. Kim has such an eye for detail and always focuses on giving her patients the absolute best outcome for functionality and aesthetics. Thanks to GLK my family has 4 absolutely beautiful smiles!

My daughter's experience at GLK was fantastic! Dr. Kim's approach was conservative in that she was careful to wait until the right time to put the braces on, preventing multiple rounds of treatment. Treatment took exactly the amount of time she expected and the results were fantastic!
