My name is Jed Norman and I love being a dentist. My work ethic began at age three, picking peaches on our family farm. By age six I was driving a tractor and spent my teenage years helping my father manage the farm. At age nineteen I served a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Chile.
I developed a great love for the Chilean people and became fluent in Spanish. After my mission, I worked on our family dairy farm for ten years. During that time I had a mentor who saw my potential and inspired me to go to college. As a husband with four young children, I began my college career while working on the farm. I graduated from Idaho State University in 1999 with a Bachelors degree in Zoology and a minor in Chemistry. I continued my graduate studies at Marquette University School of Dentistry and graduated in 2004. I began practicing dentistry as an associate dentist for two years in Rupert, Idaho. In 2006, I purchased my first dental practice in Roseburg, Jed R. Norman D.D.S. I expanded my practice by purchasing Glide Dental in 2013. I have been a leader for the Boy Scouts of America for the past six years and am active in church and community service. I love the outdoors and my passions are cycling, hiking, running, fishing, camping, and hunting. My biggest passion is my four amazing children and my beautiful wife Tyree. I love serving the people of Douglas County!

My name is Suzanne Stone and Ive been working as a Dental Hygienist in the Roseburg area for the past twenty-two years. I love my job, and the satisfaction I receive helping our patients achieve good oral hygiene. On a personal note, my husband John and I have lived in the Roseburg area for thirty-six years, and have raised two wonderful boys.
My oldest son Chris is a teacher in the Portland area, and my son Andrew is attending Boise State University. When Im not working, my favorite pastime is keeping company with a good book, and going camping in our tent trailer. I hope to continue practicing Dental Hygiene for many years to come and look forward to the many challenges and rewards this career hasto offer.
I have been in the dental field since 1981. While in high school I accepted a volunteer position in a dental office for work experience. The experience and knowledge I gained in those 2 years gave me the opportunity to accept a full time position after graduation. That was the beginning of my career in dentistry.
I have worked in the Harvard Avenue office for 20 years. The last 8 years have been with Dr. Jed Norman. Managing the Harvard office and Glide Dental is a wonderful challenge for me. The patients appreciate how hard I work to make them feel comfortable, schedule their treatment and help them to utilize their insurance benefits. I have been married for 27 years and have 2 four legged children. I spend my free time gardening, canning, spending time with my family and going on vacation.
I was born and raised in Roseburg. After graduating from Roseburg High with honors in 1999, I attended Southwestern Oregon Community College focusing on a degree in Business Administrations. I also spent 12 years in customer service. In 2013, I transferred much of my experience and knowledge into the dental field. I am enjoying my new career and look forward to getting to know our patients. My husband, Charles, and I will be celebrating 17 years together in Sept. 2014. We have a 6 year old who loves to travel almost as much as I do. We enjoy the outdoors and often have plans to take our dog on hiking or camping trips.
I have been a dental assistant for many years. I am so happy to be a part of our growing practices. I enjoy the daily challenges as a dental assistant. We have so many wonderful patients and I enjoy working with each of them! It is fun to work with a great team and Dr. Norman truly loves a challenge. He makes himself available to our patients and treats their needs in a personal and creative manor. We now enjoy our thriving practice in Glide. It is so beautiful in Glide and our office reflects the flavor of the area. We all enjoy our weekly trips there!
On a personal note, I have a wonderful relationship with the Lord thats important and fulfilling. On the home front, my husband and I have lived in Sutherlin for thirty-five years! We enjoy hiking, eastern Oregon, and taking weekend drives. We have two grown kids, a wonderful daughter-in-law, and an adorable granddaughter! We love and enjoy our family very much!
