'I was born at Travis AFB in Fairfield, California. Since my father was in the AIR Force for 20 years, my family and I spent a lot of my childhood years moving around. We lived several places in California, Michigan, Arizona, South Dakota and finally Tennessee. We settled in Tennessee when I was in the 9thgrade and initially lived in Arnold Village.
After graduating from Tullahoma High School in 1977, I headed for UT Knoxville. There I not only received my undergraduate degree in Biology with high honors, but became a Volunteer football fan. I attended dental school in Memphis for 4 years completing my studies in 1985'.
I went into dentistry because I enjoy developing long-term relationships with my patients while helping them maintain healthy attractive smiles. I love making a difference in the way people feel about themselves and helping them overcome their fears about visiting dentists. I also enjoy working with my hands and the artistic aspects of dentistry.
I hope to give my patients a better understanding of their dental care, confidence and trust in their treatment and relaxed, comfortable experiences. I am compassionate and empathetic and a very good listener, and this helps tremendously with the delivery of great patient care. Most of all, I want them to enjoy great results from their treatment so they can maintain healthy smiles for life.

When I was in grade school, my father worked for a family friend who was a dentist. I was intrigued by the creative aspect. That, along with my developing interest in the health sciences and dentistry, created an intersection of my artistic and analytical sides. I also enjoy meeting and working with a variety of characters and personalities and playing a role in their overall health.
I hope to give my patients a better sense of their self-worth, physically and emotionally. I want to take away their fear and anxiety as I discover their dental needs and concerns. I believe in tailoring my treatment to each individual and making every visit as pleasant and comfortable as possible. I like to keep a sense of calmness and humor during treatment, while delivering the best possible results.

Called them multiple times about them looking at some teeth that they sent us to get pulled snd They proceeded to say they didn't care if they've seen us before that they're not making an appointment. Terrible customer service

I absolutely love Dr. Woods! I've been going there for close to or more than 10 years. I recently changed insurance, and was SO relieved that they accepted it, because I could not imagine going anywhere else. The staff have always been so incredibly nice, and have always helped and accommodated anything I've needed! I 1000% recommend going to see Dr. Woods!!!

Great care for my 6-year old! The clinic greeted and checked us in and roomed us quickly. Dentist Angie Hill and the hygienist were fantastic. My little one is very comfortable at Glick and Woods.

I really enjoyed my appointment. I was a nervous wreck when I first got there but once I got comfortable in the waiting area. It was starting to relax and then my name was called. Oh lord!! Lol!! But it was great Ms. Kim and Ms. Karen were the best ever. Thank you ladies for making me feel like I was at home. Cant wait til my next visit with yall. See you all soon. God bless you all. Great service, friendly staff from everyone, gentle with injections if needed. DR. Woods my Dr. is excellent in explaining my issues and solutions if needed. I personally cannot ask for any other group of professionals to work with me on my dental needs.

Glick & Woods Dentistry is the best dental service provider in Middle Tennessee. Dr Woods and Dr Jennifer are not only the professional and experienced dentists, but also artists and so light handed that you don't feel anything except a gentle push even during tooth extraction. The hygiene, the cleanliness, the work environment, the punctuality, the politeness of the staff and the top notch patient care is unmatched and world class. Dr Jennifer calmed me down before and during the procedure that I didn't know when Dr Woods pulled out my tooth. This was very important for the anxious patient like me. Dr Jennifer was so charming, likable and funny that I couldn't help but smile with my numb mouth. I was avoiding to consult dentist for toothache due to my anxiety. But, I can't believe the experience with the dentist can be so pleasant. On the first day, an X-Ray was taken and the options of the treatment plan were explained and discussed during the initial consultation. They work with you and give the appointments to suit us. We get the reminders through the text messages and we have to fill up the online patient forms before arrival, which saves us time at the clinic. Everything was handled so professionally. I strongly recommend everyone to get your best dental treatment at Glick & Woods Dentistry.

I'm a bit conflicted writing this but I have to let others know before they go to this dentist. First off, the gentleman that cleaned my teeth was super friendly and seemed to do a thorough job. I think his name is Bob. He's worked there for 23yrs. Really nice guy! My past experience has been wonderful, even though I generally don't like dentists. I had a bad experience as a child... completely different story. My wife has been going to this office for years and she has always talked about how wonderful they are so I took a chance and decided to step out of my past. Like I said, the experience was great. One of the things my wife really loved about this dentist is that they didn't do the surprise billing stuff that so many other dentists do. We have been going for a number of years now for dental work and cleanings. The cleanings have never cost a thing.. up until today. The gentleman who cleaned my teeth (Bob) didn't take any longer than anyone else had taken in the past , in fact, it was one of the quicker cleanings that I have had. I get up to leave and the lady behind the desk (new lady I've never seen before) tells me that I owe $50. I inquire as to why because my insurance hasn't changed, it is, in fact, the exact same as I had last year, and she tells me some medical term that sounds dentally based AND they scheduled me for another cleaning 3 months down the road. I protest as these are usually done every 6 months. Keep in mind, the gentleman (Bob) didn't take any longer with me than anyone had in the past. I went ahead and paid the $50. The reason for this review is to let you know that you may want to ask if there are going to be any additional charges BEFORE they start doing a cleaning that your insurance usually pays for, so you don't end up facing the billing desk advising you that you owe additional money after the fact. I would also ask for an itemized bill. You have been warned!
