Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.

An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.

Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

Overall I had a really good experience. Doctor took extra time to answer all my questions and even then I finished my appointment early. Staff was super kind and explained everything that they were doing

I always have an EXCELLENT experience when I visit Glenwood Dentistry! Everyone is so attentive and caring. I recommend them to anyone living in the Atlanta area; 10 out of 10!

Would not recommend. I did not have a friendly experience with the people at this office, however when the time came to talk about money they seemed pushy for me to buy all this sort of stuff that my previous dentist never did. I always had healthy teeth. They just seemed greedy in my opinion. Be cautious of this place. I have pretty good intuition and it felt like a dishonest business to deal with.

It's always something with these people. Very young and distracted staff. The establishment comes off very money hungry. I gave them a second chance but I will NOT be giving a third! Seeing the other reviews was confirmation!

I was an orthodontics patient with this practice until 2021. They went through three orthos while I was going to them. The last ortho "Dr." Kal was horrible to work with. He rushed my braces off even though I told him my bite was not right. I could feel that my teeth weren't fitting together properly when I bit down. He claimed that he could not see what I was talking about and after a while stopped making adjustments to my braces so I agreed to take them off. Went to the dentist today for the first time outside of Glenwood practice only for the dentist to tell me that (1) this is the most cement she had ever seen left on someone's teeth post- braces and (2) my bite is unstable and could cause jaw joint issues. She immediately saw and put into words what I had been trying to describe to "Dr." Kal. Now I am left to figure out what I can do to fix my teeth. 0/10 would not recommend Glenwood to anyone.

My first trip to Glenwood was great. I moved dentists due to location. I made an appointment easily. The appointment went very smooth and everyone was friendly. My cleaning was the next day due to timing and it was great!

I can't express how amazing the staff were here. I had an emergency tooth issue and they managed to see me. Everyone who helped me was amazing. Friendly and kind. I'm sad it took an emergency for me to find them!

Came here during COVID. The Dr. Who examined my teeth told me I needed a mouth guard for grinding my teeth. I have never had that issue, didn't have any jaw pain and found it weird that she was recommending that. Went to another dentist and they couldn't find any reason I would need a mouth guard. I found that to be sketchy.

I've had nothing but positive experiences during my visits to Glenwood Dentistry and Orthodontics. Staff members are welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. Hannah is an awesome hygienist who somehow manages to make me laugh while keeping my teeth clean!

I highly recommend you do not go here. From the poor always booked scheduling to the late billing an no receipts and to the high employment turn over and never knowing or getting familiar with a face

Do not recommend. Every time I go, I have a negative experience. The staff seem scattered, stressed and disorganized. We've been given contradicting information from different staff members. My daughter was forced to get laughing gas before a procedure, even though we refused multiple times. It made her dizzy and uncomfortable and I had to pay extra. My appointments have been cancelled last minute. My cleanings are always rough and painful. On one occasion, my tongue was nicked in several places with their tools. There was no help during my cleaning so the suction tool was left hanging/attached to my cheek. I was given pricing for a procedure, and tried to schedule it, but no one would call me back for months. When I went in for my next cleaning (6 months later) I finally got the procedure scheduled. The cost had tripled. The procedure required sedation so I had to take off work, arrange for childcare and a driver, plan for a soft diet and not eat or drink for 8 hours. When I arrived for the procedure I was told they didn't have the proper staff to do the procedure. No call, no heads up, nothing. I will never go to this place again. I was already planning to find a new dentist after the procedure, but this solidified my decision. Still waiting for my refund as I had to pay a deposit in order to schedule the appointment.

wish i would have read these reviews prior to trying book a routine normal cleaning. Booked a 1.5 month out only to have them call the day of and say "something has came up". They offered me a random slot in the middle of the next work day and said "if that doesn't work it's going to be another 1.5-2 months". Seems like this is pretty par the course for their operations. I'll be giving my business and money to places who actually value peoples time and money. Also please save the "thanks for your input we value you--please call our front office" nonsense response.

I requested wisdom teeth extraction and learned that they made my appointment with Matthew Alvarez, a periodontist. When I called to request that I be seen by an oral surgeon instead, the business manager told me they were keeping my $100 deposit and canceling my appointment, which I then needed to reschedule and repay the deposit. This decision was unethical and unfair and I found the staff over the phone to be rude and uncaring. I do not have $100 to give away, and I was well within my rights to request an oral surgeon perform my procedure. I am planning to follow up with Dr. Chuzhin and hopefully have the decision reversed. Otherwise, I will no longer be a patient.

Very poor communication about appointments - rescheduling me without notice, cancelling appointments last minute, totally unacceptable and rude.

I've never been so comfortable going to the dentist! Dr. Nguyen is awesome, Audrey greets you with a smile and is so kind and delightful, Rachael keeps me laughing all the way through my x-rays, Hannah keeps my teeth shining and possibly my nose stud too. All the doctors and all the support staff here are amazing if you need a new dentist go here... Seriously just go here

Dr. Nguyen was so accommodating! They were able to schedule a deep cleaning on my first consultation visit. The front office staff is so nice! My root canal and all my fillings were completed, with little to no pain, by Dr Nguyen. Dr. Alvarez is awesome.!!! He did a quick surgery the same day as my consultation. And Dr. Kalpeshkumar did my initial consultation and put on my braces the same day!! Kelli (RDH)was so informative about keeping good dental hygiene. This place is really a one stop shop!!! If i could give it 10 stars i would!

The office had to reschedule my appointment due to overbooking on the day of my appointment. My appointment took 3 hours, and I was assured that all services for seeing an in-network doctor for a regular check-up would be covered by my insurance plan (United Healthcare). I paid $90 for the visit at the end and went about my day. I just got a surprise bill in the mail for $630 4 weeks later for services I was assured would be covered by my insurance, which I cannot afford. I literally feel like I've been scammed (or lied to my face) and that my visit would have been cheaper if I had chosen their dental plan over using my own insurance. I would not recommend this office.

Used for 4 years. Bad service. Not respectful of your time. Difficult to schedule appointments. Seems like they have consistent turnover of dentists. Do yourself a favor an go to Madison Yards Family Dentistry instead....
