Dr. Joseph (Hal) Capps, Jr., graduated from The Citadel and received his DMD Degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1994. He is a member of numerous professional organizations including the ADA, SCDA, and is a past president of the Grand Stand Dental Society. After MUSC, he returned to his hometown of Myrtle Beach and joined Glenns Bay Dental Associates in 1995.
Dr. Edward (Ed) H. Goldberg, IV, attended Wofford College and College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina. He graduated from the College of Dental Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina with a DMD Degree. He grew up and experienced the field of dentistry at a young age, since his great grandfather and grandfather were both practicing dentists. He joined Glenns Bay Dental Associates in 1992.
Dr. Julie Obenchain graduated from Bowling Green State University. She then moved to Cleveland and earned her DDS degree at Case Western Reserve School of Dentistry. After graduating, Dr. Julie Obenchain moved back to her hometown and completed a year residency at the V.A. Hospital in Dayton before going into private practice. She joined Glenns Bay Dental Associates in 2004.
Dr. Lauren Berkey graduated from Presbyterian College with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. She completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the Medical University of South Carolina. While there she served as President of the Dental Student Alumni Council, Secretary and Vendor Relations Coordinator of the American Student Dental Association and Chair of Student Professionalism and Ethics Association. She joined Glenns Bay Dental Associates in July 2019.
