The plumbing in McDonald was messed up. Glendale dental refused to let my THREE year Old daughter use the bathroom, even though she said she was about to have an accident. They said sorry, customers ONLY. It's policy. So, if you are looking for a place that is family friendly and cares about people, DON'T GO HERE.

My husband came out of this place in PAIN. He had a root canal and the dentist told him if he felt anything to let him know. My husband started feeling pain and he completely ignored my husband. His helper held him down tighter. Why they couldn't give him more numbing stuff? Idk but that's horrifying. Horrible place.

The lady at the front desk should improve on communication skills. Screening process for possible covid patients, figuring out what patients are up to date on covid vaccinations and what patients are often tested..maybe providing an option to patients to get tested before procedure would be helpful so that all patients can get the treatment they need..otherwise they will loose business..people will go elsewhere which is exactly what I did..needs to improve..

I just had the worst experience in my life at this dentist. Completely unprofessional, inconsiderate and the price is outrageous! If you care for your well-being definitely take your business somewhere else. *Update I went to Risa's Dental this morning and they did a full exam and X-rays for $10! Plus there extremely nice. What a difference from my experience at "Glendale Dental group".

My husband and I recently went to this office and it was the worst experience we have had as far as emergency dental care My husband had been in some pretty serious pain for a few days and over the weekend it steadily got worse we were trying to wait for our own dentist but his office was closed The first problem was the fact that they didn't take United healthcare so we had to pay cash up front before my husband was even examined then the receptionist grabbed our credit card and ran it while he was still being worked on Let's move on to the actual dental work. They only took one x-ray of the affected tooth only isn't it customary to x-ray all the teeth especially when you paid up front for a dental exam of $80. Most dentists use a topical agent to numb the gums prior to injecting more medication with a needle well this dentist failed to do this so my husband felt everything!!! then the dentist stuck the needle in my husband's CHEEK and proceeded to keep pushing the needle in almost to the point of coming through the outside of his cheek needless to say it was extremely painful why would you need to numb his cheek? Even when my husband was conveying that it was hurting him the dentist did nothing didn't even respond The tooth that needed to come out was supposedly an impacted wisdom tooth that was caught under his jaw bone and was going to be difficult to extract It was so bad the dentist was yanking on his tooth so hard he was lifting my husband's head off the chair but the dentist could not get the tooth to budge so he got some type of saw attachment then proceeded to cut the tooth into four pieces and still he pulled my husband's head all over the place almost dislocating his jaw he had to hold on to the chair to keep the dentist from lifting his body off the chair finally after 30-40 minutes of this painful extraction the tooth finally came out They put gauze between his teeth to control the ,bleeding then they sent him home with non narcotic pain pills and antibiotics this one tooth cost $325 dollars on top of the $80 we initially paid My husband was in severe pain that even the pain pills could not control it took a week for the pain to subside somewhat due to the trauma from the extraction my husband has had headaches every day as well as pain from the injection in his cheek he also experienced some bleeding for days he still can't open his mouth very wide preventing us from getting a thorough exam from our own dentist.we also called the office as well as the pharmacy for a refill of the pain pills someone from the office called me regarding this refill request and told me the dentist had to look over his chart and that she would call me back to this day I have not gotten any calls from anyone at that office they haven't even responded to the request from the pharmacy my husband still has some pain in his cheek 12days after. This dentist is elderly and shouldn't be performing these types of procedures- .due to the condition and location of my husband's tooth I believe that he should have referred my husband to an oral surgeon and due to the amount of bleeding he should have put a few sutures to close the big hole the dentist left in my husband's gums There is something fishy going on that they require cash up front and don't accept AHCCCS-everyone takes AHCCCS!! we would love to get some of our money back and hope that sharing our experience will keep other people from making the same mistake!!

I chipped the cap off my front tooth this morning. I broke the tooth as a child and every few years it needs to be replaced. We are new to the area so I found Glendale Dental through a quick Google search. The woman I spoke to was cheerful and courteous and said they could see me immediately. The building is a small stand-alone building. When I entered the waiting room I was pleased to see all the staff were wearing masks. The very friendly lady at the front desk checked me in, gave me paperwork, etc. The building is old and no-frills, to say the least. I waited for a very reasonable amount of time considering the nature of emergency walk-in clinics. The examination rooms have a drop ceiling, wood paneling, and carpet. Having carpeting in a medical space was very off-putting to me. I am not uncomfortable with older spaces - I know good and well that the spa-like atmosphere of many medical offices typically corresponds to inflated prices and is not a guarantee of a quality provider - but carpet just seems very unhygienic. The dental chair was very old, the leather/plastic worn and peeled away in many places. The seat itself had a disposable plastic cover that only reached halfway up the seat. The arm rests, which were very worn and grubby, were not covered in plastic at all. The facility definitely does NOT smell 'surgical' in any way. A clinician started by doing an x-ray of the tooth. The x-ray machine was located in a cupboard in the exam room. It was covered in a plastic sleeve. After she completed the x-ray, she simply put the machine back in the cupboard and closed it up, without removing the now used plastic sleeve. The dentist was pleasant enough but was very insistent that bonding the chip was a terrible idea and that the only viable option was a veneer. He said that bonding isn't permanent, that he couldn't guarantee his work, that they break and chip again and then leave patients with 'hard feelings'. I was open to his opinion but of all the dentists I've seen, in all the places we've lived, none have ever suggested anything other than bonding this little chip. I believe I've had it replace maybe four times over the last nearly-forty years. While I was skeptical, I was open to the idea, knowing that a veneer would last likely as long as the rest of my teeth and it would be nice not to worry about this chip ever again so I asked if he could do a veneer today. He said he'd check. A few minutes later his dental assistant/hygienist came in to explain that the veneer likely wouldn't be covered by insurance and asked if she could take a photo of the chip with her personal cellphone. She also shared that the 'other stuff would be covered, and then went on to say, 'I don't know what the material is called - I never deal with insurance', which naturally shook my confidence a little more. The woman from the front desk came in with my estimated cost breakdown, made me initial that the work would not be guaranteed, and took my credit card for the $80, my portion of the cost. Moments later, the dentist returned and quickly began the bonding procedure with no explanation as to why we were no longer pursuing the veneer. I was happy to just be moving on at this point. The procedure took maybe five minutes. The cap isn't the best I've ever had. It is a little rough and not as symmetrical as its predecessor. But it will do until I get to my actual dentist. Should I find myself faced with a dental emergency again, I am confident I will pursue other options before returning to Glendale Dental.

I had a fantastic experience with this dental office. I came in in pain and needed a root canal, the dentist was able to make me feel comfortable and fixed the issue on the spot. No more pain! They've just earned a patient for life!

Drove 2 hours from Flagstaff due to extreme pain from a wisdom tooth, only place that was open on a Sunday was here, got in quickly, yanked the wisdom tooth in like 15 minutes and was good to go. A lot faster than I expected and very happy I made the choice to come here!

I was in this place yesterday and they said that the insurance company covers 90% of my charges, the total was $162.00 and I paid $120.70. I believe they took this amount from me and they will take the 90% from the insurance company. The doctor was so rude and not patient. He and his assistant hurt my gum and he said you don't have to have any pain because your tooth has root canal.

I called to make an appointment for tooth pain. Spoke with Sandra and gave her my insurance information. She said she'd verify my insurance and call back. When Sandra called back, she told me that although I had insurance, I'd have to pay for my services up front and in full. Reason being is that due to Covid-19, my insurance company was taking 4-6 months to pay out claims, and they can't wait that long to be paid. I thought that was very odd, so I called my insurance company. I explained to my insurance everything Sandra said to me. My insurance company was shocked. They said they have never reported a delaying in any claims. They said claims are generally paid in 10 days and that they are trying to scam you. I have been a patient here for 8 years. I will never return to this office and will make sure I spread the word.

I have seen many dentists over the years and Dr. Salwin is one of my favorites. He's very professional and has taken excellent care of my teeth considering the state I put them in.

Worst experience ever! Broke a file off in my tooth during a root canal, DIDN'T TELL ME, and then expected me to pay for the tooth that had to be REMOVED and for an implant. Called to get a physical copy of my records to get a claim on this ridiculous incident and it has taken two weeks with no progress! Receptionist was rude and evasice on the phone. Do not go here!!
