Born in Southeast Florida, Dr. Roe moved to Richmond, Virginia as a young girl. Dr. Roe earned a dual bachelors degree in Biology and Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise from Virginia Tech University (Go Hokies!). After earning her undergraduate degrees, Dr. Roe attended Virginia Commonwealth Universitys School of Dentistry where she was an active member of the American Student Dental Association and served in several national positions before graduating as a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). Upon earning her DDS, Dr. Roe began her career in Chicago, IL before making the decision to move back home to Richmond to open her own dental practice. With the vision of providing the best preventative and restorative dentistry possible using the latest technology in the field, Dr. Roe bought her practice in 2020 and thus created Glen Forest Dental Company. Im always excited to educate my patients on their oral health and help patients who are self-conscience about their teeth by transforming their smiles. Most of all, I love the relationships I get to form with my patients. Dentistry is such a unique field of healthcare because we get to see our patients so frequently. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Roe has an ironically legendary sweet tooth which inspires her love of baking. Dr. Roe loves spending time with her husband, Mitch, and their dog, Riley, and is looking forward to becoming a new mom in the Spring of 2022!

Dr. Zhou has lived throughout Virginia but recently moved to the Richmond area in August of 2021, which, lucky for us, landed her at our beloved practice! Dr. Zhou first became a doctor of dentistry in her hometown of Shanghai, China after graduating from Shanghai Tongji University in 1992. Upon moving to the United States, she earned a Masters of Science in Dental Hygiene from Old Dominion University. Dr. Zhou worked diligently as a dental hygienist until graduating, yet again, in 2016 as a Doctor of Dental Surgery from Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Zhou, while a masterful practitioner of preventative and general dentistry, also finds passion in surgical dental procedures such as extractions, alveoplasty, and root canals; citing their ability to help relieve people of pain and discomfort quickly. As a result of her years as a practicing dental hygienist, Dr. Zhou also specializes in the treatment of periodontal disease; to include coinciding surgical procedures as well as scaling and root planing. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Zhou loves baking and cooking Asian cuisine. For Dr. Zhou, working in dentistry gives her the opportunity to help relieve people of pain, improve their health, and regain their confidence. All of this makes a lifetime of hard work worth it.

Christina has worked as a licensed dental hygienist in Indiana, Chicago, California and finally Virginia after graduating with honors from Indiana University. Outside of work, Christina loves to cook and spend time outdoors landscaping, gardening, and hiking. Christina prides herself in her well-earned expertise in the treatment of periodontal disease. When asked what her favorite part is about her job, Christina says educating patients on how their dental health works, helping them overcome their fears, and most of all helping people tackle problems with their dental health that they simply cant do on their own.

Amber has been working as a dental assistant in her hometown of Richmond, Virginia for over 10 years. Amber famously enjoys and has a knack for learning and remembering the little details about patients and their preferences in care. As knowledgeable as Amber already is in her field, when asked what her favorite part of working in dentistry is, Amber says its that theres always more to learn.

Before moving to Virginia in 1993, Lynne graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Dental and Medical Assistants in 1985. Lynne has spent the following 36 years after graduation dedicated to her career in the dental field. Lynne likes spending her time outside of dental assisting reading, doing crafts, spending time with family and friends, and of course spending time with her very sweet yellow lab Lexi. Lynne was inspired to join dentistry after her own battle with dental phobia as a child. I thought if I could make a patient comfortable during their own visits, it would bring me joy and it certainly has!

LeAynne grew up in Virginia Beach, VA before moving to Richmond and attending Virginia Commonwealth University where she earned a Bachelor of Biology. Following school, LeAynne dedicated her career to healthcare in positions both in and out of hospital settings including as a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) for critical care patients. In 2022, LeAynne decided to try something new: taking on a career in the dental industry coordinating patient treatment. Yay for us! LeAynne says she cant imagine working in fields outside of healthcare whether that be medical or dental care since these fields allow her to help others and impact lives. Outside of work, LeAynne loves reading, rock climbing, and boxingshe really does it all!

Laura and her fur babies recently moved to Richmond to be near family. She raised her two boys in south Florida and all three graduated from UF (Go Gators!). Laura has a Master of Business Administration, a career in accounting and bookkeeping, and enjoys sharing her experience with our practice. She loves being a part of the Glen Forest Dental Co. team and getting to know the patients. Laura is excited for her first grandbaby due in March of 2022!

Morgan has worked in healthcare administration for the majority of her career; making the switch from medical to dental in 2021 when she joined our practice. Morgan is passionate about facilitating excellence in both quality of care and patient experience. Outside of work, Morgan loves to be with her family, travel, camp, and hike. Morgans favorite part of working in the dental field is being able to get to know the patients. The nature of dental care allows for developing familiarity with your patients. I love seeing the same faces and hearing the same voices and how that allows me to serve patients in such a personalized way.
