Diplomate, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry Dr. Lance Lambert grew up in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, and graduated from Glenbard West High School in 1975. He received his bachelors degree in biology at Dartmouth College in 1979 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) in 1983. He completed a general practice residency at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center in 1984 and pediatric specialty training at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh and University of Pittsburgh in 1986. He is board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association. In addition to founding this private dental practice over 25 years ago, he taught for over 28 years in the Post-graduate Pediatric Dental Residency Program at UIC, training future pediatric dentists. He has published scientific papers on pediatric dental sedation and taught numerous courses on caring for special needs children and the use of nitrous oxide sedation in dentistry. Dr. Lambert served on the Board of Directors for the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and as President of the Illinois chapter of American Academy of Pediatric Dentists. He has a special interest in treating children with Autism and other special needs. He is currently accepting new patients and enjoys speaking to parent groups on caring for their children's oral health. Dr. Lambert is currently serving as the President of the Wheaton Dental Society.
Diplomate, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry Dr. Claire Garcia grew up in Wheaton and attended Wheaton-Warrenville High School. She received her Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biology and a minor in Psychology at Loyola University of Chicago. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loyola University at Chicago School of Dentistry in 1985. She attended the University of Illinois College of Dentistry where she earned her pediatric dental specialty certificate in 1990 and her masters degree in 1991. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the UIC Department of Pediatric Dentistry where she supervises predoctoral students and postgraduate residents in the clinic.
She is the current President of the Illinois Society of Pediatric Dentists. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry , the Illinois Society of Pediatric Dentists , the American Dental Association , Illinois State Dental Society , the Chicago Dental Society , the International Association of Dental Research , the American Association of Dental Research , and the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Her research interests include the psychology and the science of behavior, prevention, trauma, pain management and child development. Other interests include travel, hiking and sea kayaking.
Diplomate, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry Dr. Joyce Koh grew up in the northwest suburbs of Illinois and attended Glenbrook North High School. She received her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2000 graduating withhonors.She receivedher Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor in 2005. She earned her Pediatric Dentistry specialty certificate along with her masters degree in oral science in 2008 from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry.
She is a board-certified diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is a member of the Chicago Dental Society, American Dental Association, Illinois Society of Pediatric Dentists, the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry,and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Diplomate, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry Dr. Jaime is originally from the southwest suburbs of Chicago. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Spanish from Northwestern University in Evanston. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from University of Illinois (UIC) College of Dentistry and completed an honors program in Pediatric Dentistry. Upon graduating, she received the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) Certificate of MeritAward and the Delta Dental of Illinois Foundation Award. After dental school, she completed a two-year residency in Pediatric Dentistry at UIC while also earning her MS in Oral Sciences. Dr. Jaime strives to make every child's first visit to the dentist a fun, positive experience to encourage a lifelong commitment to oral health.
She is a board-certified diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is a member of the Chicago Dental Society, American Dental Association, Illinois Society of Pediatric Dentists, the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

We had a WONDERFUL experience here. It was our 3 yo daughters first dental visit and unfortunately she had chipped a tooth 2 days prior. It was a last minute trip to the dentist and I was worried that she would have a terrifying experience since it would be more than a teeth cleaning. The receptionist on the phone was so nice and was able to get me in within 3 hours! We had some trouble with my insurance card and she waited patiently on the phone until it was cleared up. When we got to the office my daughter was nervous but she saw the fish tank and got really excited and couldn't stop talking about them. When they called us into the room I was able to hold her in my lap on the chair. The dental hygienist was so sweet and patient explaining everything she would be doing to her. The room was so friendly, they had apples, butterflies and dogs on the wall and leaves on the ceiling. She was immediately calmed by the atmosphere. After the cleaning, Dr Peters came in and took a look at her tooth. She said because it was a minor chip in the back and it was on a baby tooth that we could seal it instead of sedate her to fix it. This was such a relief. We are so lucky to have found this dentist office. The experience was a 10/10!

Dr. Jamie and the gentleman assistant were absolutely amazing while filling my daughters 2 cavities! They were so completely gentle and patient with her! I would not go anywhere else and i highly highly recommend Glen Ellyn Pediatric Dentistry. The front desk staff are all so friendly as well! My daughter loves coming here so much and gets so excited on her way there! Amazing! :-)

I absolutely LOVE Glen Ellyn Pediatric Dentistry. We were so unhappy with our last dentist and very fortunate to find GEPD. They not only have a fun castle theme office and different fun themed rooms but they do only what's necessary, not pushy, and I trust their judgement. I only wish they did adults as well :) Highly recommend!

This place is truly wonderful. I had to take my 3 year old son here for some work and they were fantastic from the moment I called. I can't remember the receptionists name who called me back and set up the first appointment and also checked us out that first day, explaining the charges and insurance but she was just great (Maybe Fe?). We were greeted by Martha who was caring, helpful and funny (I was having some mom guilt and she said they treat that too ). The first hygienist we saw, Rochelle, was great with my little guy as she took xrays. Very sweet. On future appts Dr. Garcia and Dr. Koh both explained things to me very well and as they did work they explained everything to him so well. The tvs on the ceiling are a fabulous touch. The dental assitant we had, Samantha, is so sweet and attentive to his needs and the dentists needs. It just seems like everyone there is naturally doing what they are great at and meant to be doing. Thank you for getting him all sorted and for subsequently treating my mom guilt. Highly recommend!
