Dr. Catron received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in May 1988 from the University of Louisville. That fall he joined the United States Navy, where he served for 10 years. He completed a fellowship in Oral Surgery at Great Lakes Naval Hospital in Illinois in 1994.
In July 1998, he and his family moved to Tazewell, VA where he purchased the practice of Dr. Roger Strong. A tragic fire on Christmas Eve in 1999 severely damaged the office and forced him to share office space until the building was restored.
Personally he is an active member of the Main Street United Methodist Church. He and his wife have been active in coaching youth sports. He is currently serving his second term on the Tazewell Town Council and has served on the boards of several civic organizations.

Absolutely lucky I havent tried to sue. I told him a filling wasnt done well, was unsightly and loose, he told me it was my imagination. Not even a week later, I bit down, lost the filling, broke a tooth, now am into tooth restoration for over 1500.00. A ton of pain and money lost due to his not listening to his patient

could be a great dentist and a good staff but I will never know because I Called today to see if I can get an appointment as a new patient the lady was very rude and seemed more like trying to discourage me from making appointment than trying to make the appointment for me then when she came back and gave me the date she hung up without saying nothing very very unprofessional and rude

The hygienists wear masks when they work on you but pull them down when they're talking. Front desk & billing doesn't wear them at all. One worker, not wearing a mask, claimed she "done had it already" and you're supposed to be ok with that while your mouth is wide open, breathing all that toxic air. I had a panic attack & left. I won't be back.

Horrible. They're always overbooked. He ruined my front tooth. I went to have my tooth fixed, and now it looks worse than it did before. I'll have to go to another dentist to get it corrected.

Does great job working on teeth and pulling. He can pull a tooth and be done and you will be like "you're done I didn't think you even pulled it yet" lol. But in in all honesty he is one hell of a dentist!
