Dr. Nader Afganis a general dentist who received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. Prior to dental school, he attended University of Maryland, College Park where he received his Bachelor of Arts with Honors in German language and literature. His training during dental school included a one-year clerkship in oral surgery as well as a one-year clerkship in pediatric dentistry, where he received advanced training in those subjects.
Since graduating from dental school, Dr. Afgan has worked in private practice and serves as Deans faculty at the University of Maryland as a clinical instructor to pre-doctoral dental students. He attends continuing education courses to stay up-to-date on the newest advances in the field of dentistry. Dr. Afgan is fluent in German and Farsi and is conversational in Spanish.
Dr. Karthik Cherukuri earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, where he also received the dental student award for Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology. He also completed a general practice residency at the Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center in Philadelphia, where he was trained extensively in oral surgery, endodontics, periodontics, and prosthodontics. Dr. Cherukuri frequently takes continuing education courses to ensure that he is up-to-date on the latest dental technologies and provide the best care possible.
Chances are you will meet Tiffany when visiting our practice, as you will see her tending to the front desk and helping our clinical staff. Tiffany has been in the dental field for over 15 years! She started her career in the dental field as a certified dental assistant, which has contributed to her extensive clinical knowledge, while receiving her undergraduate degree from UMBC. She can answer all of your clinical and financial questions. Tiffany is also fluent in Spanish.
Vicky has been with Glen Burnie Dental Group for over four years. She has a background as a pharmaceutical representative and medical billing which has contributed to her wide-range o dental knowledge. She is always the first in the office and takes pride in making our patients experience at our office as pleasant as possible.
Vicky is from Kansas, but has lived in Maryland for most of her adult life. She has two and a young grandson, who she tries to spend as much time with as possible. She enjoys outdoor activities and isnt afraid to get her jeep dirty once in awhile.
Christina is one of our energetic certified dental assistants, and guaranteed, behind her mask there is a smile on her face. She has been in the dental field for over ten years, and has a wide range of dental knowledge, as she has worked with various dental specialists.
Christina was born and raised in Maryland. Her time away from the dental field is spent with her finance, cats and dogs. She enjoys outdoor activities, and chances are if you ask* she can tell you a good fishing spot in Maryland.
Allene studied at Anne Arundel community college for Dental Assisting and now has been in the field for over five years. Allene enjoys educating patients and helping them overcome their dental anxiety. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching shows on Netflix and taking care of her adorable cat named Ayla. Allene is very passionate about dentistry and takes steps to learn new things everyday. Her calm demeanor helps patients with even the most severe anxiety feel comfortable. She is current! Furthering her studies to better help patients and gain further knowledge of the Dental field.
Erica joined our team in February 2020. As an Assistant. She enjoys comforting our patients and watching them leave our office with confident smile. Erica loves working in the dental field and aspires to become a Dental Hygienist. In your spare time, Erica enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Amber is certified in expanded functions and radiology. Shes worked as an assistant for over 2 years now. Shes passionate about helping patients and calming down dental anxiety. Hobbies that Amber enjoys outside of work and hiking, camping and spending time with her family. She has 2 cats, their names are Heidi and Jacob. Amber also attends college part tome to further her education.

Dr. Nadar is absolutely amazing, he's done way more work to my teeth then I'd like to admit. Great work & bedside manor. Staff is helpful and informative aswell. I drive 45 minutes just to see them.

Dr.parks and his asst. Maria are awesome they make y feel very comfortable and actually seem to care about how you feel..im in alot of pain and very uncomfortable but with these 2 you know ur safe!!!and your not scared to come back to get the work done..

Dr. Afgan is the best dentist ever!!! My mom and I are both his patients and we love going to his office. Dr. Afgan takes his time and explains the procedure truly. with his excellent bedside manner he make sure that you are comfortable. His excellent work along with his kind and professional staff makes the experience great. I can't say enough. I highly recommend him!!!

Great office! The doctors are patient and informative and Kara at the front desk never fails to brighten my day!! She always makes me feel cared about and taken care of. I think a lot of places forget how far kindness goes, so it's always nice to be made to feel important. Highly recommend this office :)

Dr. Park is a 10! He explained my treatment plan thoroughly and explained why that plan was chosen. He took the time but also is mindful of time you're in the chair. The practice is amazing. Beautiful and clean office.

I did not want to give Glen Burnie Dental Group 5 stars...I did not have the best experience with this place...but what did turn it around for me was Kara at the front desk and these 5 stars are for her. I cant even begin to explain how professional and kind she is. She remembered everything about me and my dental history even though I know she meets hundreds of patients each week, it just really struck me as a person who actually cares about the patients that go there. I even had insurance questions one day and Kara knew all of the answers to my questions...I truly do not think I would come back to this place if Kara was not there.
