Charlotte and John first met at Alma College in 1995. John is from Mt. Pleasant and Charlotte is from Midland. They both graduated from Alma with Bachelors degrees and went on to Denal School at the University of Michigan. They married in May, 2000.

Both John and Charlotte began their careers in the thumb of Michigan, where they both developed a love of working in smaller communities. A community where they were able to really get to know patients and their families.

In 2006 they welcomed their first daughter, Hadley, and began to think about settling down. They decided they wanted to work together so they took over the practice of long time Gladwin dentist Robert Billand. In 2008 Hadley was joined by her little sister, Gwen.

Since 2007, John and Charlotte have enjoyed becoming part of the Gladwin community. Their office participates with Adopt-A-Highway, local healthfares, high school training programs and the local Relay for Life.

John and Charlotte now split there time between the practice and their daughters, with one working while the other is at home with the kids. They feel very lucky and blessed that they are able to work and raise their family this way.

Kelly grew up in Gladwin County and graduated from Beaverton High School. She recived her degree in Dental Hygiene from Ferris State University in 1992. Shes been working at this office since 2001, and enjoys working in the community she grew up in. Kelly and her husband Guy have three children and enjoy spending time with family and friends.

Catie has spent over 20 years in the dental office. She spent summers during her High School years doing clerical work and dental assisting. After graduating from Ferris State University and University of Detroit Mercy, she began her career as a dental hygienist 14 years ago, working the last 13 years in this office.

Catie ejoys getting to know patients by learning about their families and interests. Her goal, as a hygienist, is to help encourage patients in their need to achieve and maintain oral health. She is proud to work in an office with a feeling and support of a 'family enviroment'. She is grateful to enjoy going to work!

Sandy was raised in Dearborn MI, She moved to Beaverton in 2003. In college she earned her Child Development Associate Credential license and then her Bachelors of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Michigan (Go Blue!!). She enjoys getting to know her patients and helping them acheive better oral health.

Kay has been an assistant since 1990. She graduated from Delta College with an associate degree in Dental Assisting, passed her Certification exam and became a Certified Dental Assistant. In 2008 she went back to school through Washtenaw Community College to take expanded duties courses. Kay took her boards and became a Registered Dental Assistant. Kay has worked at this office for since 1990

Kay has beenmarried to her husband Harrry since 1991and has two children, Kyle and Skylar, who are very active in sports. She has a small hobby farm that consists of draft horses, cats, dogs, goats, rabbits and chickens.

Lisa Wakefield grew up in Clare MI. Sometime after graduation she obtained an Associates of Arts with Business Management focus from Alpena Community College. Moving to Florida gave her the oppurtunity to attend the University of Florida to participate in their expanded functions certification program allowing her to do many more procedures in the community Dental Center that she was working for. Life events brought her back to Michigan where she then obtained her CDA then attended Washtenaw Community College and obtained her RDA license. Lisa has been a dental assistant since 1990 and joined the Gladwin Dental Care family in 2012. She enjoys working with the team to help each patient gain a happy health smile.

Originally from the Detroit area Barb worked at a dental lab from 1980-1990. After moving their family north in 1995, Barb worked as a Dental Technician until being hiredby Dr. Robert Billand in 2000 which is known today as Gladwin Dental Care. Dentistry has been a very rewarding career.

Barbis married and they have two grown children and a granddaughter. Barb enjoys everything about the outdoors including hunting/fishingas well as photography, collecting petosky stones andsewing in her free time.

Lynn enjoys the clinical side of dentistry and interacting with the patients. She lives in Gladwin with her husband and three children. When shes not working she enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching her childrens sports, cooking, baking and home improvement.

Lisa loves getting to know our patients and helping them fit dental care into their busy lives. She and her husband Guy live in a lively household full of critters and kids. When she is not working Lisa enjoys her kids activities, cooking, sewing, embroidery and camping.
