Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

I am a patient at Glade Modern Dentistry. I move to Texas recently and had to find a new dentist. So glad I found this dentistry office. My dentist is great! He is very personable and makes you feel valued as a customer. But I wanted to share my experience today with the hygienist that I saw today Bridgett. She was great! She was very thorough in explaining everything that would be occurring and took the time to give to me her recommendations for my future dental needs. But what impressed me the most was she did not hurt me at all! That tells me she is very skilled in her profession and knows what she is doing. If you are looking for a good dentist office, I have no problem whatsoever recommending Glade Modern Dentistry.

Glade modern dentistry has given me the confidence to go back to the dentist. I have dental trauma and they have worked with me slowly and carefully together to make me feel safe and at ease. Would recommend to anyone who is looking to give the dentist a second chance.

These guys are not dentists, they are salesmen. I went to them to do basic cleaning, but they tried to upsell me a costly service that I didn't need and when I refused, they refused to do basic cleaning. I'm on my way figuring out whether it was legal (most likely not). If it happens to be illegal, a complaint to the responsible institution will be my next step.

My daughter was scheduled this morning for a 9am dental appointment and when we arrived at 8:45sm. Brandy the Office Manager said they would not be able to see my daughter because I did not confirm the appointment. I informed her that I received a call from their office at 5pm on yesterday and I was still at work and was not able to answer the call or return the call at that time. She then stated "She was in the office until 8pm last night and I could have called to confirm ". Well Brandy how was I to know you were in the office until 8pm? Why did you not make the call earlier during the day like most dental offices do, to confirm the appointment? You also stated I could have called the 24 hr line to confirm. I was never aware that your office had a 24 hr line that I could have called to confirm and I have been bringing my daughter to the office for two years. You were unbothered and very rude and I strongly feel that it was because of the color of my skin you made such harsh decisions not to allow her to be seen. At this time I have no choice but to continue my daughters orthodontist appointments there because that's where her braces were put on and if it was not for that we definitely would not be going back. I definitely would not recommend this place because Brandy the Office Manager is racist and rude.

Please avoid this place, they make it extremely difficult to see someone for something basic, here for a cleaning? Sign in on this tablet and complete these forms that will take 15-20 mins, here for a second time and come for a basic procedure? Sign in on the tablet, and of course you forgot your username and password, so itll be another 10 more mins on top of the 15 to complete the same forms online that you completed last time. Will not be coming back. Ill will be in search of a old school dentist office. Sign in, show insurance , form of payment and Voila! Also they claim the "Ortho" label, though the Orthodontist only visits that place twice a month, seriously, call right now and ask for an appointment to see the ortho, theyll tell you this month and and next month are already booked. A scam!

After having a terrible experience at another dental office, I came to GMD to get a second opinion on supposed gum disease I was told I had. The staff was very welcoming, incredibly friendly and talked through everything with me. They recommended an advanced cleaning for my gums which was half the cost of the previous dentist and fillings (which the previous one recommended as well). They never pressured me or anything and made sure I was completely in the know with everything before I made a decision. When it came to the procedures, they were painless and quick. Definitely recommend them to anyone!

Wow is all I can say right now (partially because I am still numb). I had a root canal done today and experienced zero, and I mean ZERO pain. If you have been afraid, fear no more! Dental work has come a long way and I am so thankful for both doctors who worked on me today. Actually, everyone, from the front desk to x-rays was amazing. Extremely clean lobby, bathrooms and patient rooms. They are judgment free and really seemed to care about me like I was their family. No, I am not on any meds right now as you may be thinking, lol. Honest, non intoxicated, option right here. Thanks again and see y'all soon!

After they cancelled 2 appointments without notice, they haven't answered their phone in 3 weeks. I guess they went out of business. Time for a new dentist. Edit for their response, no mistake, if you'd answer your phones, we wouldn't be here.

I am from out of town and had complications with my braces. I called the office super last minute in hopes they could take care of the problem for me. They were able to accommodate me right away and had the issue resolved within a few minutes. I'm so grateful to them because I was in so much pain before they saw me. All the staff members I had the opportunity to meet and speak with were super friendly and professional. Thank you Glade Modern Dentistry for your accommodations!

Dr. Ahmad is very professional, and she has the best bedside manner. I appreciate her thoroughness. The orthodontics part of Glade Modern Dentistry needs some improvement. 1. I got braces placed but no one explained the process step by step. I learned how braces are placed by watching several YouTube videos. 2. Hand hygiene is non-existent. I didn't see people wash their hands or use hand sanitizer. In fact, I saw one hand washing station prior to going to my room. However, I did not notice any hand sanitizer in any of the rooms I have been in or outside the doors. I was brought to a room and both orthodontic techs failed to wash their hands or use hand sanitizer. Maybe they do it without me noticing, but I seriously doubt it. 3. I prefer that people explain what they are going to do before they do it. Maybe that's the nurse in me. Dr. Iacob reattached a bracket, but didn't explain what she was going to do. She literally filed my veneer. I would have preferred she tell me what she was going to do. Furthermore, I've learned, by watching orthodontist on YouTube, that most veneers have to be replaced after braces. That wasn't explained to me at all. Additionally, the orthodontic tech had to remove the bracket and was not gentle. 4. If you have an orthodontic emergency, do not expect to be seen right away. You will most likely be seen in a week. 5. I would recommend Dr. Gallagher. He placed my daughter's braces. Whenever she had an orthodontic emergency she was seen no later than the following day. 6. I'm not saying this office is not friendly. They are very professional and nice. However, I'm not a fan of some of their processes. I decided to change my previous rating and rate this facility one star. In the Covid era or in general, I'm unsure why I have to ask the staff to use hand sanitizer before donning gloves and touching my mouth. I asked one ortho assistant to use hand sanitizer and she did it willingly. When another ortho assistance entered the room, she attempted to don gloves with washing her hands or use hand sanitizer. I asked her to use hand sanitizer and you would have thought I asked her to assault someone. People, if you are caring for one patient and enter another patient's room wash your hands or use hand sanitizer. Additionally, I do not think it's common practice for them to use hand sanitizer or wash their hands. The hand sanitizer is on the counter in the corner. If everyone was actually using hand sanitizer it would be front and center.

I went here because of the reviews and I was not disappointed. My previous dentist I will not name names was not great I had insurance problems and the list goes on but I had no problems at Glade modern dentistry. Rashanda Hawkins explained everything to me no hidden fees. My procedure was flawless and I will be back thank you
