Dr. Barrett graduated from Kings Mountian High School and subsequently attended UNC for his undergraduate degree. After obtaining a Masters in Science from Appalachian State University, he was acceptedto the UNC Schoolof Dentistry where he graduated at the very top of his class with a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. Dr. Barrets hobbies include: spending time with family and friends, playing softball, attempting to golf, and cheeringon his beloved Tar Heels. He states, Imso happy to finally return home and serve the community and the people who did so much for me during my formative years.
Dawn McMurry is originally from Atlanta, Georgia and moved to North Carolina in 1980. She is married, has two children, and three grandsons. In 1993, Dawn received her Dental Hygiene license from Central Piedmont Community College. Her interests are collectibles of the 1950s-1970s, antique furniture, Pinterest, sewing, photography, scrapbooking, and spending time with her family.

Went there for my first cleaning in probably 5 years. I've been apprehensive to go because it hurts and most of the doctors I've had were not nice. This dentist is nothing of the sort. They were incredibly gentle, and my gums didn't hurt whatsoever when I got out. I went again, a couple days ago, for two teeth fillings. I told them I was nervous, and they made the whole process the least stressful time I've had at a dentist. Incredibly nice, and they made small talk with me to calm me down. Thank you. Definitely will have to recommend this office.

I just want to say I have been coming to Dr. Howard's office for 17 years now. He is the best Dentist in this area and he also staff's the best and the most professional employees. Becky is the hygienist I use and she is awesome!!!
