Dr. Alison Givner has devoted her life to caring for families. That includes her own family of 3 boys and her husband Michael, of course; and the hundreds of families across generations who call on her to personally care for their dental and oral health.
Dr. Givner combines a highly personal approach with world-class dentistry. She founded Givner Family Dental to provide exceptional dental care for people, not patients. Dr. Givner takes great pride in spending time educating people in order to provide context to procedures, routine or complicated, to promote good dental health habits that may prevent future issues and keep radiant smiles on the faces of everyone who walks through her doors.
Its my mission to care for everyone like I would my own family. Everyone has a different story and different needs. Thats why its important to me to take our time in truly getting to know everyone who walks through our doors! Im committed to making their experience with us a positive one to help them develop good dental habits for a lifetime! And for the young at heart, they can expect thoughtfulness, kindness, and the best possible dentistry. Thats my personal commitment.
Dr. Givner earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 2000. She completed her General Practice Residency at North Shore University Hospital, Manhasset, NY in 2001, and earned a BA in Biology at Binghamton University in 1996. Through consistent participation in continuing dental education, Dr. Givner continues to stay on the forefront of best practices in dentistry in order to provide the very best possible care for the community she serves.
She is well recognized for her philanthropic and deep community involvement including contributions and support to Livingston public schools, Livingston Youth Sports, the Mental Health Association of Essex and Morris, Inc., as well as other worthy causes and organizations. Dr. Givner is passionate about educating students, especially during Dental Health Month when she partners with pre and elementary schools to teach students about the importance of dental health.
Jennifer has been in the dental field for 35 years! She started with her dad, Dr. Anthony M Pallotta, and her mom who was the practice office manager. She learned the administrative aspect from her mom and assisted her dad for a few years before starting her own family.
Jennifer has 5 accomplished children, all of whom shes very proud. She enjoys cooking, hiking, biking, skiing, snowboarding, gardening, and living healthy. She enjoys singing in a band and loves people.

A dental assistant for over 25 years, Tonya Salley loves what she does! Tonya loves to treat patients with the best possible care. Tonya emphasizes the importance of having a good work ethic, which she espouses; and takes great pride in being responsible, efficient, organized and kind. In doing so, she receives the gift of seeing people feeling happy with the care they receive from Givner Family Dental care. For Tonya, satisfaction comes when she knows she made someones dental visit a more comfortable and healthy experience.
Tonya has been working with Dr. Givner since 2019, and the two of them are amazing together! Multiple friends, colleagues, neighbors, who have received care from Dr. Givner tell Tonya you two are a great team!
It is important to me that every patient is treated like a family member and anyone who really knows me knows how much I love my family. I have a large close family. I am the youngest of 5 children, said Tonya.
Anna studied Biochemistry at Cook College before pursuing a degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1999. Anna is compassionate by nature, treating everyone based on their individual needs, desires, and even anxieties. She feels accomplished when she can make someone who had a previous negative dental experience feel comfortable in the dental chair. She takes preventative care and patient education very seriously, and still truly loves and enjoys her job even after practicing for over 20 years. She makes quick friends with children who visit our office, and helps them enjoy their own dental experiences as well! Anna is a dedicated wife and mom of two girls Olivia and Natalia. She is fluent in Polish and enjoys kayaking, photography, cooking, baking, traveling, roller coasters, biking, arts and crafts, and so much more!

Dr. Givner and Tanya are AMAZING! I had a damaged tooth that was severely discolored and had Dr. Givner apply veneers to my top 6 teeth. Dr. Givner and Tanya are perfectionists, making sure that the veneers look as realistic as possible - size, color, application. This experience has been life changing thanks to them!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Givner and her dental practice! They are the most wonderful, caring and very intelligent female run practice. I've had a lot of dental issues lately and somehow Dr. Givner has been able to find a solution and help me through them. My children (7 & 9) see Dr. Givner as well, and as a mom, it's comforting that most of the dentists there are also mothers and know how to speak to children to make them comfortable at their 6 month trip to the dentist. We highly recommend Givner Family Dentist to anyone!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Givner and her staff. Dr. Givner consistently treats my family and me with kindness and compassion, and her staff is upbeat and friendly. She is a skilled and thorough dentist who takes pride in providing the best care to her patients. In addition, Dr. Givner's office is brand new and pristinely maintained. I highly recommend this practice!

My husband and I are so please with Dr. Givner and her staff. Our routine dental care has been truly top notch. I have been unhappy with my teeth color and staining for years and no dentist has come up with a solution. Dr. Givner suggested resin infiltration, which had never been suggested before. I was absolutely shocked with the results in just one treatment. We feel so lucky that we found Dr. Givner and will be patients for life!

Dr Givner is by far and away the best, most highly skilled and most caring dentist I have ever had. The office staff is always professional and welcoming which is such a breath of fresh air compared to so many doctors offices I have been to recently.

My experiences with Dr. Givner and her staff have been nothing short of outstanding. I first came in office around ~11/21 for a cleaning, and was informed I have 6 cavities (big bummer, I know...) She was able to slot me in for two appointments on back to back days for 90 minutes of work each day and was highly attentive when there were abnormalities during the aftercare process. I'm now urging my mother to see her as well as other family members. If this practice is conveniently located for you and in network, you'd be a fool to go elsewhere!

Dr. Givner and her staff are amazing! The new location is beautiful. I was looking for years to have veneers replaced. Dr. Givner worked on a plan with me and was meticulous in implementing our shared vision. The final product was finished today and I am extremely happy with the results. Easy 5-star review for me. If you are looking for a local dentist in Livingston, I highly recommend Dr Givner. p.s. My kids and wife love her too.

My children and I have been patients of Dr Givner's for years. Her new practice is gorgeous, remarkably clean and the entire staff is super friendly. Dr Givner is so patient with the kids even in the most trying of moments. I recently had my teeth whitened at the new office and they came out amazing. See attached photo... I can't recommend this Givner Family Dental enough!

Such an amazing experience! Dr. Givner and her team are so friendly, efficient, and caring. They work tirelessly to make every patient feel welcome and at ease, from your first step through the door. Dr. Givner & Tanya are also SO GENTLE when performing my dental work!! I didn't feel anything during most of my procedures, and the one that I did feel was nothing more than a light nerve sensation. I'll be a patient here for as long as my insurance is compatible - I cannot recommend Givner Family Dental enough!

Dr. Givner's practice is truly the best. As soon as I walked in to her office her assistant made me feel so comfortable. Dr. Givner was gentle, explained exactly what she was doing and made me feel at ease, even she was injecting the Novocain. The hygienist who assisted her, Tanya was just as calming as Dr. Givner. I was in and out from getting a cavity filled and a filling in 30 minutes. I'm so happy that my entire family goes to her practice.

Hands-down, no question, Givner Family Dental is a top-notch, professional, results-driven, genuinely warm and welcoming practice composed of the finest dental professionals around. I recently had my top two front teeth--one natural, one bonded and discolored over the years - replaced with veneers. I also had my teeth whitened.
