The tree in our Logo symbolizes a generational practice. Girgis Dental has been blessed to care for families in LaGrange and the surrounding communities for close to 30 years. That means that for some families, Dr. Girgis has taken care of grandparents, parents and children- all in the same family!

Dr. Philip Girgis has been practicing in La Grange since 1993. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. Following dental school, he completed a General Practice Residency at Lakeside Medical Center (Northwestern University Dental School).

Dr. Philip is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society and Chicago Dental Society, where he is currently serving on the peer review committee. Dr. Philip is also a member of the medical staff at LaGrange Hospital, Hinsdale Hospital and RML Hospital.

He recently celebrated 30 years of marriage with his wife, Maggie. Together, they have 5 children and two grandchildren (more on the way...). When he is away from the office he enjoys traveling, boating and following the Chicago Cubs.

Dr. Peter Girgis is a graduate of Lyons Township High School. Following high school, he attended Wheaton College where he graduated with honors in political science. He then attended the Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine for his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, where he was elected graduation class speaker. He also received an internship certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery from the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Dr. Peter holds or has held memberships in the following organizations: American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the Christian Medical and Dental Association.

Dr. Ioana Iacob received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. A native of Romania, Dr. Iacob has been living in the United States since 2007. Dr. Iocob has experience treating patients in many different contexts, most recently working in a Federally Qualified Health Center. Her experience also includes serving as an adjunct faculty member for the Midwestern University Dental School as part of the dental student externship program.

Dr. Iacob enjoys traveling and has been on multiple dental and medical mission trips to Jamaica and Haiti. She also enjoys spending time with her family, being engaged in the local church, and exploring the outdoors.

Dr. Jackie Wisinski received her undergraduate degree from Loyola University Chicago and her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. During dental school she received and award from Illinois Academy of General Dentistry and was elected to be a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.

Dr. Jackie is a member of the American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Association of Endodontists. She also holds a membership with the American Dental Education Association where she was very active during her time at dental school. She currently is continuing her passion for teaching as a faculty member at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry.

When not immersed in patient care, she can usually be found outdoors training for a race, playing at the park with her dog, Bailey, or exploring the city of Chicago with her husband of 10 years, Brandon. Together they enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Rob Girgis has been practicing dentistry since 1989 and orthodontics since 1993. He received his Bachelor of Science at Purdue University followed by his DDS from Northwestern University and his Certificate of Orthodontics at Eastman Dental Center, University of Rochester. While at Northwestern Dental School, he received the American Association of Periodontists Annual Senior Award and was elected to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.

Dr. Rob is passionate about continuing education to keep up to date with the latest skills and technologies. He is a member of the Illinois Society of Orthodontists, American Association of Orthodontists, Midwestern Society of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, and C-12 Group (a Christian CEO forum).

Dr. Rob grew up in Hinsdale, IL and has called Naperville home since 1993. He has been married to his wife Laura since 1987 and they have three adult children and a Golden Retriever. When not working, Dr. Rob likes to keep active: golfing, traveling, snow skiing, running, biking, and learning about cars. Time with his family and friends is a priority.

Dr. Thomas Bell grew up in Chicago and earned degrees from St. Ignatius College Prep, the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana, and the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. He previously held a membership with the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD).
