Dr. Hansens goal as a dentist is to provide excellent dental care at a reasonable fee with a gentle touch. She wants to make sure that her patients have healthy mouths and that they get the smiles that they want and deserve.
Dr. Hansen is a member of the Lions Club and is a Melvin Jones Fellow with the Lions. She is also a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks and a recipient of a Certificate of Recognition for Outstanding Community Service from the 74th Assembly District of the State of California.
Emily joined our team in 2006. She graduated summa cum laude with her bachelors degree from Azusa Pacific University in 2001. She loves the people at Ginger Hansen, DDS, including her fellow team members and all our patients. She loves getting to know our patients and their families and providing them with a high level of integrity when it comes to service and conservative dentistry. She continues to study the latest theories and clinical practices in dentistry and loves to research the latest products. She enjoys taking the time to inform our patients about the best methods to achieve optimal oral health.
Emily and her husband Travis have two children. Away from the office she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, hiking and doing Pilates. She is also studying to be a Pilates instructor and is active as a life group host and leader at North Coast Church.
Sofia has been with us since 2003. She enjoys the family feel at our office and all of the fun we have. She does her best to provide preventive dental care and educate patients on proper oral hygiene.
Although Katie has been working with Dr. Hansen since 2019, she was a patient throughout her childhood and teenage years. She earned her dental assisting certificate from Kaplan College in 2013 and received her license in 2014. She loves the family atmosphere at our office and being able to work next to Dr. Hansen, who made such an impression on her that she become a dental assistant. Katie makes sure that she is always one step ahead, since being prepared and thorough makes each visit a smooth one for the patient. She appreciates the time she gets to spend with our clients. And she is also a Star Wars fan!
With 25 years of experience in the dental field, Andrea is a valuable member of our team and has been a part of Ginger Hansen, DDS since 2005. She considers herself a dental geek, since she loves everything about dentistry and helping our patients. She has been called the mommy of our office since she keeps everyone smiling and laughing and our team is like her second family.
Venessa graduated from OGHS in 1990 before going to school to become a dental assistant. She spent nine years as an assistant before becoming a stay-at-home mom. She made her way back to dentistry in 2018. For Venessa, her coworkers are the best and finds working for Dr. Hansen to be amazing. She also enjoys the fun we have at the office! At work she does her best to keep the schedule full and moving smoothly.
Dana has been a part of Ginger Hansen, DDS since 2016. She loves her teammates and our upbeat office. She also enjoys helping our patients and getting to know them. She works hard every day and has fun with her work family.

My name is Sydney and last week I went to Dr Hansen after my Aunt referred her. I'm not one to usually leave a review but I had an amazing experience at this dentist and I want to share this for anyone who's looking to book here. I have severe dental anxiety which has resulted in me not going to the dentist since 2017 due to a specific bad experience I had that year + many other rough visits as a child. My visit in 2017 was with very rude and unprofessional ladies who made fun of me for crying and I truly never thought i'd be back in the dentist. It scared me because I know I need to go but I genuinely had so many horror stories that I gave up. From the receptionist, to the lady who took my X-Rays, to Dr Hansen.. the whole experience was amazing. I spoke with the nicest lady about my dental anxiety and she offered me a blanket, headphones, and she comforted me and explained how I would be okay and they will take care of me. In my appointment I didn't get good news, I have a Root Canal and Wisdom teeth coming in.. as much as that terrifies me, I know Im in good hands. I feel so relieved to have found a dentist that I will be seeing regularly. They also sent me a welcome card to my house which was incredibly thoughtful. I mean this when I say I thought i'd never go to the dentist again. I will be referring my friends and family because after so many different dentists I have finally found someone. I would even go as far to say i'd recommend commuting an hour just to go here because of how good they are. I can't thank Dr Hansen and her staff enough :)

I have gone to Dr Hanson a few times, the staff is nice, professional. The waiting time for a teeth cleaning g is 5 to 6 months. They say I can come in at a last minute cancellation but I work and can't get time off the same day. 5 to 6 months is a bit long to have to wait. Do u think the Dr is telling me something?

I'm a returning patient of Dr Hansen and the office staff said I had to wait 5 months for a teeth cleaning appointment. I was already a year overdue for a cleaning. The office staff said they would be happy to call me at the last minute from a cancelation. I called back to make sure Dr Hansen and the staff to confirm the 5 month wait and they confirmed. My friend has gone in to get a crown put on a tooth. After 2 crowns breaking, when trying to put it on they get him in within days. I want to keep going to Dr Hansen but the 5 month wait seems excessive

I HATE the dentist. So much so that I really neglected my teeth. I went to Dr Hansen the first time about 4 years ago, only because I had a tooth ache that was unbelievably painful. I cried through that first appointment. Dr Hansen and her staff are so amazing! I now go regularly. I still am not a great fan of the dentist but they are able to take care of somebody like me. If you need a dentist, I promise this is the place to go. Has changed my life. I am MOSTvgrateful!

My mom and I are so grateful she is doing so much better as am I after being under your care. The staff , assistant nurses, and everyone is so nice they give you birthday cards, goodies when your done, I just feel really good I actually like going to the dentist. They also baby you in the best way making you feel comfortable and they make you feel like they care something many doctors seem to neglect bed side manner.
