I have been a patient of Dr. Higgins for many years. I have never had a bad experience. The office is beautifully decorated and inviting. I have been to many dentist, but never as caring and gentle. I've had to have a lot of old work re-done and have an extremely small mouth & TMJ. Dr. Higgins and her staff were extremely gentle and only worried about my comfort even though it was making their job harder. They are the best & I won't go to another dentist.
She graduated from Morehead State University with Bachelor of Science and Artsdegrees in Biology, Psychology, and Chemistry. Dr. Higgins then attended theUniversity of Kentucky College of Dentistry where she graduated 'Top Ten' while starting her family.
She is committed to bringing every one of her patients to total health throughoutstanding oral care. Dr. Higgins strives to educate every patient with theknowledge that their oral health directly impacts their overall health.
To achieve the highest level of comfort for her anxious patients, Dr. Higginsobtained credentialing with the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation(DOCS). She felt compelled to further her education on sedation and attendeda post-doctural 'mini-residency' at the University of Kentucky to obtain herlicense to provide IV sedation for her patients.
She is also a founding member of Lexington's premier dental study group through the acclaimed Spear Institute. Along with her team, she spends many hours each year attending continuing education to provide the most up-to-date care.
Dr. Higgins has been in private practice here in Lexington since 1999. She is a member of theBluegrass Dental Society, theKentucky Dental Associationand theAmerican Dental Association. She also serves on the board of The American Academy of Clear Aligners and is a Gold Member provider with Invisalign.

Jane and I have been seeing Gina for a while now. She is so thorough and takes great pride in watching out for our health. Both of our kids now see Gina and several of our friends and family are now her patients. If you're looking for a great dentist, Dr. Gina is your go to!

I love this woman and her staff!!! I have crazy dental anxiety and this is the only place I've ever been that has made me comfortable and kept me coming back. They are all wonderful people and very kind/professional! I refer all my friends in the area to Dr. Higgins!

Dr Higgins is not who she portrays to be. She secretly records her clients conversations, she will break your dental contract simply because she no longer wants to work on your teeth. She will bad mouth clients infront of other clients. She gossips about all her clients, and her and her employees just laugh at people. She canceled my appointment the day before at 430pm, and I drive an hour an a half to get there. I also had to line up a babysitter. She doesn't care about her clients only herself and how much money they can get out of you. This is a very deceptive office of fake corrupt people.

Dr. Gina Johnson-Higgins is such a great dentist. She truly cares about her patients and is skilled and experienced in what she does. Her facility is upscale, clean and located in a convention area. During COVID, they have taken all the precautions to keep their patients and their staff safe. She has never made me feel pressured to do any extra services if they were not necessary. She's truly the best and I am fortunate to have found her.

The staff at Dr. Higgins' practice is always polite and helpful! I have lots of anxiety of going to the dentist. Dr. Higgins helped me with weighted blankets and stress balls to help reduce my anxiety. She will even call me later to check on me to make sure I am doing well. Now going to the practice for the past 3 years I wouldn't recommend anywhere else!

Dr. Higgins and her staff are the best! They were so caring and kind. I have a terrible fear of the dentist and they were patient and understanding from beginning to end of the process. The literally treated me like family. I highly recommend.

Dr Jonhson is the best! I had a bad experience with another dentist and my Invisalign treatment was a mess. They did not want to release my records. She took the time and helped me get my records and restarted my Invisalign treatment even though I already paid the money to the other dentist. She even gave me her personal cell number if I needed and one time she came to the office just to see me since my schedule was crazy and I couldn't make it to the appt. She is respectful and straightforward. Every time I go to her office I have the best experience! Highly recommend her!!

This is the cleanest office I've ever stepped foot in. During covid I was scared to go to the dentist, maybe I'm being extra but I was nervous. Dr. Gina was so sweet and comforting, her staff was the safety blanket I truly needed to get out of my own head and finally get work done. Super clean, super comforting and worry free. Thank you Doctor!

Very poor work ethic and treats her employees like she owns them. Don't go here and definitely don't work for her because you're in for a ride. Super disrespectful and definitely bipolar. I forgot to mention she deletes every bad review that's why it's 4.8. Her dental assistants are sweethearts. She doesn't deserve them.

Dr. Higgin's is by far the best Dentist I've found in Lexington. She's very professional and helps with all my dental needs. Her and her staff are always very friendly and makes me feel at ease while I'm in the Office. I would most definitely recommend Dr Higgins and her team to anyone with any dental concerns. I don't fear going to the Dentist any longer because I know that I will be treated with respect and friendly attitudes.

From the minute I walk in the door to the minute I leave, my experience with Dr. Higgins is always top notch. The office is run super efficiently, and all staff super friendly and helpful. I'm always asked if I'm comfortable, a blanket, some chap stick, a favorite channel on TV. The quality of work is A++. The skill of all the entire team is superior and I never leave feeling like a better job could have been done! Hands down my favorite dental office in the US!
