Dr. Vuppala has a caring personality and has the philosophy of the highest quality, professionalism and personalized dental care possible. He has worked in the dental profession for 16 years and has the experience and skills you want in a dentist. He graduated from his dental school in 1998 and was thereafter licensed by the California Board of Dentistry. During his several years of practice, Dr. Vuppala has also trained and mentored many dentists in the Northern California area. He received specialized training in Root canals, neuromuscular dentistry, Cosmetic dentistry, Dentures, Invisalign, Oral conscious sedation, Implants and several others latest techniques and procedures of dentistry. Outside the professional activities, Dr. Vuppala life revolves around his family with wife Yani and 2 boys. He has a lifelong passion for cooking and traveling.

I don't usually write bad reviews, but really disappointment with this dental company. I do not recommend Gilroy Dental Association. I had made an appointment with them for regular cleaning only. When reaching there instead of getting my regular cleaning done they started to take X-rays and did not inform me that there will be any charge associated with it. I never was charge for any X-rays fees before from any dental companies. They then made another appointment for me for deep cleaning instead. However, since their fees was too high, I decided to cancel the appointment. I checked with multiple other dental offices and realized that their fees are way higher than other places. After months had passed, they sent me a bill of $250 which apparently is a small part of the X-ray cost that my insurance did not cover, and which I was never told to pay. I called their office multiple time for clarification and was informed that a manger will reach out to me, and I still have not received a call. This is very unprofessional for not even calling back. It's very clear that all they care about is making money.

Have been coming here for over 10 years, and even with the change of docs we are super happy. Staff is amazing and caring. Treatment is always a partnership, informing and consultative in approach. Highly recommend Dr. V., Sonya, Daisy and Sheryl just to name some faves.

I want to say a big THANK YOU to Dr. Vuppala and the entire staff who helped me for my root canal surgery. I had to request an emergency treatment because my nerve was in so so much pain that kept me up the entire night last night (which was also my wedding night). This morning at 3 AM I reached out to the Santa Clara office (homebase), requesting an emergency appointment. They got back to me quickly and kindly moved me to Gilroy and made an appointment for 1 PM today. They were able to get my information from the other office, move their busy schedule (the office was PACKED!), and provided me with attentive care. God speed!! The immediate response from the staff and the doctor really saved me from the suffering. More than that, the entire crew was so so kind and friendly. I was able to speak to Dr. Vuppala, who is soft-spoken and highly-skilled, on the phone to communicate about my symptoms before the appointment. And upon arrival, all of the staff who got to know about my wedding the previous day, congratulated me and shared their blessings. I felt being cared for as a patient. The surgery process was smooth and successful. They asked me for feedback during the entire time and responded with more anesthesia accordingly. Overall, I felt very grateful that I came under Dr. Vuppala and his staff's care. I went to two different oral surgeons, so I know the difference in the qualify of doctors and patient care. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Again, thank you, Dr. Vuppala and the staff! I will be able to finally sleep tonight without pain.

Veronica and dr vuppala are fantastic. They are very precise and make sure their work is perfect. My all on four looks fabulous. Exclusive atmosphere. Everyone is so friendly and nice. It feels like family, everyone is so loving and caring. I come here with joy and I'm never afraid. I appreciate them and the entire staff. I will miss them all.

Very frustrating experience. Trying to get answers about our child's care. We keep calling and no one cares to call back. But skip a payment and you get a call. You ask for the dentist to call back still waiting. Be careful if you go to this dentist

10-10-10 across the board! I was legitimately surprised how a Dentist practice could have such a welcoming, professional & helpful vibe. Is it wrong of me, if I were to look forward to going back? On this occasion I had Donna fully inspect, digital X-ray & deep clean my teeth (Ex-Smoker), having to chip, grind & scrub for 2 hours WITHOUT even an assistant (I think they were unusually lightly staffed in that area due to the current times we live in). Whilst doing all of that, I was so relaxed I almost dosed off.. But we had a few good belly laughs too!

It's been a few years since I had seen a dentist and was nervous for my exam but as soon as I was taken back for my exam I knew I was in good hands. Karla is extremely knowledgeable and friendly! She took her time to go over everything with me to make sure I understood all my dental needs. Dr V took good care of me during my exam, as he was also very friendly and more than willing to discuss any of my questions or concerns. I couldn't have ask for a better dental experience. I highly recommend this office for all your dental needs. They do it all!!

Gilroy Dental Associates is highly recommended by me. I truly love their passion to connect with their clients and give them the dental care that they need. I can really tell they take pride in their work and really go to the Max that you leave satisfied. Out of the 6/7 years I've been going I'm safe to say that not once I left unhappy. All the girls there from front to back of the office are really amazing and welcoming. I've been serviced from everyone there including Veronica, Daisy, Lilia, Karla, Ashley, Irma, Mari, and of course Dr. Vuppala, who is such a great doctor. I can really say this is the best Dental office I've ever been to. Always making me feel welcomed and at ease. Most offices have such long waiting periods, but I'm averaging at maybe 5-10mins waiting. Like I said, excellent service! I highly recommend this dental office to everyone, even if you don't live near by, it'll be worth the drive, trust me!

Awesome, Positive Experience!!! True professionals with exceptional service!! Always have had a positive outcome. Recently visited for crown replacement with Dr Vuppala! He did his regular exceptional work assisted by Daisy and Veronica. They both teamed up to remove a screw broken off in the crown base that happened before I came in. EXTREMELY DIFFICULT and without success would have been major "work around," but they succeeded!! (Much to my relief!!) Would strongly recommend them for anyone NOT SATISFIED with their present dental work, and looking for an alternative. They would be a MAJOR UPGRADE for you!!

LOVE, love this entire office. Excellent CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! The entire staff is very friendly, Irma and the girls are AMAZING and my family has been a part of Gilroy Dental for about 20 years. Beautiful office, and very happy environment. Cheryl is a wonderful hygienist. Dr. Voopaula provides excellent care. Pain free and very comfortable. I highly recommend this office. My first time visiting Dr. Vulpalla (sorry if I misspelled) he was great and upon entry I was greeted by the friendly staff. My hygienist Leslie was completely amaaaazzzing. She made sure I was comfortable while doing x-rays and during my cleaning she was conscientious of my discomfort with dental work. She was constantly ensuring I was doing okay. I can't wait to go back for my ortho consult. I highly recommend going here and to leslie if you struggle with finding the right dental office for you.

Gilroy Dental completely restored my faith in regular dental visits. After bouncing from one terrible dentist to the next (bad billing practices, rude office staff, etc.), I eventually quit going to the dentist altogether...for years. Nothing puts me off more than "professional care" that doesn't actually care. The staff here are all friendly, skilled and straight to business, which is what one would expect.
