Our doctors are members of the Academy of General Dentistry, The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and The American Dental Association. Though we provide patients with a large number of cosmetic procedures each year, we are a family practice made up of many two- and three-generation families that have spent decades in our care. Dr. Paul Gilreath IV is the Founder and CEO of Gilreath Family Dentistry. Known as a dentists dentist, Dr. Gilreath has developed a practice where you will feel comfortable and know you are treated with the utmost care and compassion. He has helped thousands of people in Marietta and Cobb County to improve their smiles and obtain excellent dental health. His artistic eye has allowed him to produce dentistry on the highest level, with patient comfort and satisfaction as his primary goals. Dr. Gilreath has lectured on cosmetics, Same Day Crown treatment, Dental Implants and Invisalign. In addition to his knowledge about general dentistry, full reconstructions, and smile makeovers, Dr. Gilreath has extended education in orthodontics, dental sleep medicine, and implants placement and restoration. He is one of only two Platinum Level Invisalign Dentists in GA and the only one in North Georgia. He is a Fellow in the International College of Oral Implantology, a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, The American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, as well as the American Dental Association.

Dr. Gilreath graduated from The Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry in 1991 and then returned to Marietta to start a private practice. He worked with his father for 20 years. Dr. Gilreaths interest in cosmetic dentistry and helping people enhance their smile propelled him to learn and practice advanced techniques in the art of smile design and dental reconstructive techniques. Dr. Gilreath is a strong advocate of continuing education and he routinely attends advanced cosmetic/general dentistry conventions and courses around the country every year. Dr. Gilreath has advanced training in orthodontics, Facial Esthetics including Botox and Fillers and Dental Sleep Medicine. He is one of Souths leading Invisalign dentists and is a Gold Plus Level provider.

We use advanced technology to create beautiful smiles for our patients while reducing any possibility of pain and discomfort. And we produce these results in a friendly, thoughtful and professional atmosphere.

Dr. Gilreath grew up in Marietta, GA where he attended Marietta Highschool. He is a pianist and composer and received a degree in Music Composition from Stetson University and then attended the University of Southern California to do his Masters work. During the 80s and 90s, he wrote music for film, television and video games in Los Angeles and then Atlanta. He has been a featured soloist with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and has recorded several solo albums where members of the ASO were featured. He has been a featured performer at the Montreaux Atlanta Jazz festival, Chastain Park Amphitheater and has conducted the Cobb Symphony (now the Georgia Symphony) in several performances. In 2010 Dr. Gilreath and his wife Channie produced the feature film 96 Minutes, which starred Brittany Snow (Pitch Perfect, Hairspray) and David Oyelowo (Selma,The Butler). They filmed on the Marietta Square, around Marietta and in Atlanta. Today, Channie and Paul continue to enjoy music, film and the arts.

Dr. Gilreath is active in his community. He has served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Cobb Symphony Orchestra (now the Georgia Symphony) and is a member The High Museum, The Marietta/Cobb Museum and several other organizations. He has been on the Advisory Board for several local banks and Kennesaw State Universitys School of Music. Dr. Gilreath has also served as a Governor for The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (The Grammys). Every year, Dr. Gilreath provides free dental care to less fortunate individuals including women and children who have been victims of domestic violence. Gilreath Family Dentistry is one of the primary corporate sponsors for The Marietta City Schools Band program and The Gilreaths provide financial support to many local, national and international charities.

Both of their children, Quint and Birdie are musicians. Birdie is first chair sax in the symphonic band at Marietta High School and she was lead drum major for the 2021 Fall football season. Quint played drums in band at Marietta and played tenor (quads) for 3 years in MHS marching band. Quint is a sophomore at Champlain College in Burlington, VT where he is majoring in Sound Design for video game production. Birdie was accepted to the Liberal Studies program at NYU and will start school in New York fall of 2022. Paul, Channie, Quint and Birdie live in Marietta along with their Mainecoon cat Agador and Diesel, their cute Lhasa Apso who has lots of attitude.

Dr. Kasra Nezafat is from Kennesaw, Georgia where he graduated from Kell Highschool. He attended The University of Georgia and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Dr. Nezafat received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from The Dental College of Georgia (formerly Medical College of Georgia) in Augusta. Dr. Nezafat wanted to be a dentist for as long as he can remember. He enjoys helping people with their oral health and providing them with excellent care. He is a member of the American Dental Association and The Georgia Dental Association.

In his spare time, Dr. Nezafat enjoys working out and staying active, traveling, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. He is a huge UGA sports fan and attends as many games as possible throughout the year. He lives in Kennesaw.

Crystal came to us with a wealth of experience in practice administration and management from her 18 years in the dental profession. She is responsible for the day to day running of the practice. Crystal is enthusiastic, kind-hearted and very knowledgeable about dentistry. Crystal has 2 children, Cailen and Logan and she enjoys camping and hiking.

Jennifer has 17 years in general dentistry. She loves dentistry and making patients feel at ease in our office. She enjoys traveling and exploring new places and can be found shopping and working out for fun. She loves spending time with her family and being an aunt to three girls.

LaShai came to us with 10 years of experience in cosmetic and general dentistry. She is the first smiling face new patients see in our office. LaShai lives in Dallas with her dog, Jax and enjoys short road trips, reading, and shopping.

Erin comes to our practice after starting her dental career in 2015 in both oral surgery and general dentistry. She graduated from the Dental Career Institute. Erin enjoys getting to know patients to better understand their wants and needs. She lives in Dallas and enjoys spending time with loved ones, hiking and exploring new places.

Savannah has many years of assisting experience in General Dentistry, Perio and Orthodontics. She loves meeting new people at the practice and creating a positive impact with everyone she meets. In her free time, she and husband and their son love being outdoors together.

Kelly is one of our hygienists with over 12 years experience. She graduated from Georgia Highlands in 2006. She easily connects with patients and strives to help every patient achieve optimal oral health. Kelly lives in Kennesaw with her husband and 3 children. In her free time, she likes to camp, hike, and spend time with her family.

Amanda is one of our hygienists. She graduated with an associates degree in Dental Hygiene from Georgia Highlands in 2006. Prior to becoming a hygienist, she dedicated 15 years as a medical assistant in womens health care. She resides in Kennesaw with her son Brayden and her twins Brooklyn and Bennett. In her free time, she likes to read, travel, and spend time at the lake.

Amanda has 15 years experience in dentistry. She graduated from Georgia Highlands College with a degree in Dental Hygiene. Amanda grew up in Cobb and lives in Marietta with her husband Andrew and her two sons Judah and Micah. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family and traveling.

Kyler joined our office in 2021. She loves getting to know her patients and helping them become confident about their smiles. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family and loves going to sports games.
