I have been getting my teeth cleaned with this group the last couple years. I do not have dental insurance so I have more than once requested a 6-month cleaning cycle, which they will not allow. You must come every 3-4 months, and they have refused to setup 6 month appts. I recently was also very shocked by them taking a string of xrays without consent, and then my $200 cleaning appt became $349. This is extremely inappropriate behavior so I paid my bill and informed them I would not return. Then I received a call today from the office manager Chelsea. She was letting me know what my expectation should be going forward for payments. I let her know that I would not be returning, what my experience and concerns had been, and the fact that I felt bullied and upset almost every time I left the office. To those comments her response was not any apology or acknowledgment of my feelings, but she did begin to inform me that it was a legal requirement that I have an x-ray annually and see the doctor. I told her that this is exactly the self-righteous behavior I've come to expect, and she literally told me to contact them where I want my x-rays forwarded, and promptly hung up the phone. So don't visit this business and expect to have any courtesy regarding your perspective, feelings or concerns. 11/04/22 update: Having found an alternative dentist for my ongoing cleanings we reached out to Gillihan requesting the X-rays I paid for be sent to the new dentist, but they are dragging their feet and indicated they have to get the busy doctor's approval first. I see customer treatment has not improved. Not a big surprise, but since I paid for the X-rays I'm pretty sure my X-rays belong to me.

Super professional, very transparent group. Worked with me to make sure I understood the procedure, billing, next steps - everything. Loved everyone in the office. Friendly service and love the outcome.

Dr. Gillihan and her staff are fantastic! The office runs like a well-oiled machine. Appointments are on time, easily scheduled, and exams and procedures are painless. This dental office is, by far, the best I've visited.

The staff there was so nice. I feel very informed on everything. Very welcoming and descriptive!

Friendly and knowledgable staff. Always informed me about my situation and what I need to do to resolve my problems. I had an appointment today that apparently got bumped because of an emergency. They did not communicate anything with me and I sat in their waiting area 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. I am not a big fan of being held hostage. That time could have been better spent somewhere else. I left the appointment so who knows how much longer I would have had to wait. Simple communication could have resolved all the issues and we could have rescheduled to a later time or date. Instead I left feeling that the doctor had zero respect for her customers and their time. If you have extra time in your schedule see her. She is good at what she does. Had a lot of interaction with Gilligan Periodontics since my last visit. The doctor contacted me directly and proved that my initial rating was a fluke incident. I wanted to wait for my next appointment before I wrote an update. I was seen on time and was very pleased with the visit. The office as a whole cares about their patients. Great office, great people and great atmosphere.
