Dr. Gilbert Price received his license to practice dentistry from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Dr. Price has been practicing dentistry for nearly 40 years, and he has practiced in Porter, Texas since 1983. His care and concern for patients has brightened thousands of smiles. He takes a gentle approach, easing any concerns you might have by providing valuable patient education. He listens so he can best understand your particular needs. Then, he strives to provide the highest standard of personalized dental care using his skilled training in the latest advances in dental technology.
Dr. Price states that one of the most fulfilling things about being a dentist is combining art and science to help create confidence and self-esteem in others. He loves the one to one relationship that he has with his patients as they discuss a treatment plan that will provide them with the best possible dental care.
Dr. Abu-Tabra has been working in the dental field for four years so far, and her love of helping people makes her a great fit for this job. She is also happy to have such a kind staff supporting her. She earned her doctorate from the Loma Linda School of Dentistry.
Dr. Abu-Tabra is originally from Iraq, and she is the older sister of two brothers. The older brother and his fianc are both actually dentists too! The younger brother is interested in becoming a physician one day. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, cooking, swimming, and watching series. She is also a big fan of learning new things and trying new experiences at least once.
Kristas experience in dentistry spans 17 years so far, and she spent the last 11 as a member of our team. She studied at Kingwood College and is also certified in dental sealants, nitrous oxide, CPR, ICAT, implant Phlebotomy, Invisalign, and as a RDA.
Originally from Splendora, Krista is married with two children named Dylan and Makenzy. She actually had a crush on her husband as early as the 3 rd grade, but they didnt start dating until age 15 and didnt get married until 27! Her hobbies outside of the dental office include landscaping, decorating, watching Dylan play football and baseball, watching Makenzy do gymnastics, and helping with Girl Scouts.
Belinda studied at Del Mar College and is trained in Dentrix, ICAT, and dental implants. She has been working in the dental world for 28 years now, having spent the last five as a part of our dental office. She loves being able to change smiles for the better!
Amanda is originally from Porter, and she first joined our team two years ago. She attended the dental assisting course at Everest Institute and is certified in dental sealants, CPR, and nitrous oxide. Overall, she has six years of experience in dentistry and counting. She loves seeing happy patients and changing smiles every day!
Christy received her education from Lamar University, and she is certified in CPR, nitrous oxide, Invisalign, Jurisprudence, and ICAT. Her career in the dental field spans 19 years (11 in hygiene) so far, and she chose to join our team over two years ago. She loves the people she works with!
Christy has two children, one husband, and one dog. She is from Shepherd, TX and enjoys gardening and making stained glass in her free time. In addition to her work here in the United States, she also spent time in the National Health Care System in the U.K.

I had a very messed up mouth with very little money when we started this journey together. 28 years of cancer and treatment had left my teeth a wreck!!!! But today because of you I can smile!!!!! I honestly I never leave reviews, but my experience coming to this office was so good. Everybody who works there was so sweet. I hate going to the dentist, but after coming here I think my anxiety won't be as bad. Shoutout to my hygienist she was awesome, loved her energy and how she went into details about everything. Totally recommend.

I have never been a seen by Gilbert Price. I have been seen by the female dentist (don't recall her name) and that's why I am prompted to write this review. I have had a root canal and a deep cleaning in this office which were both extremely painful experiences. My root canal (which was done almost a year ago) has never been without pain, not one day. I will be finding out soon how botched it was by going to a new dentist. I made the dentist aware of my past eating disorder and how sensitive my teeth were and she either did not believe me or didn't care. I did not feel comfortable any time I have sat in he chair.. I honestly can't recommend her. My kids say Dr. Price is good but again, he isn't who I have seen. I wasted at least 1600 on my root canal which will probably have to be redone. If you have good teeth, she might be fine. If you have sensitive teeth and/or severe dental issues, avoid and find another dentist. Trust me!!!!!!

I love love love the staff here. They made me feel calm the minute I walked in the door. I have bad anxiety and they kept me calm the whole way. I will be going back to get my dental procedures done. Dr. Price was so down to earth and explained everything to me. I feel comfortable with him doing my work. Thank yall so much.

After searching and reading thru multiple dental offices FAQ page, reviews and calling in for additional information regarding the pain I was experiencing. I came about the friendly voice of the receptionist who assisted me pleasantly and thoroughly after I explained what was going on she was ready with options and availability for me and was even able to squeeze me in the same day due to my pain. On arrival of the office I was greeted by the same receptionist whom I spoke with, I completed any paperwork that was needed and they saw me within a reasonable time. The receptionist, tech and Doctor all had great service, were friendly, explained everything, and were non judgmental. I can say I had a good experience with everyone I had come in contact with. This office has a great helpful vibe, all the employees are on the same wave length. They definitely work together as a team and enjoy what they do. Would recommend anyone who has anxiety or is afraid, or plain just had bad experiences at dental offices. They definitely work together to make you feel comfortable.

My experience here exceeded my expectations , very up-to-date technology, very personable staff, when all of the other dentists in the area told me "sorry we don't know what's wrong with you can't help you" they took the opportunity to dig deeper and help me find a resolution to the pain I've been having for over a year I look forward to growing a patient relationship with them.

They do a very good exam some things is they need to let you know from the very beginning it's a $40 cancellation fee my job requires me to be on call 24/7 & I was going to have a lot of visits with them this year & I was told it was going to be times I might have to sit in my hot car before going in No Can Do & I'm paying top $dollar for their service the way to fix that is do your appointments correctly make it mandatory that every1 wears a mask & sit 6ft a part

I've been going to Dr. Prices office for a few years now and have had a dental implant among other services. I've found that as this office is run like a finely tuned instrument, it is JUST as so, that the staff really CARES about the patient as an individual. This is important to me. Even when receiving my cleanings, which I get every three months now, the doc even boots the hygienist out of her chair so he can make SURE that he is kept abreast of anything new, he doesn't just rely on reading the notes LATER ON. So for these reasons, I think this has been the best dentist I've visited, ever. Update: 12/33/2020 YET AGAIN, another pleasant visit at this office (never thought I'd say a dentist visit was pleasant!!) But, the staff is always nice and the hygienist that cleans the teeth here is as gentle as can be and my teeth feel so so clean!! No horrible waits are also a plus. HUGE plus. Update March 8, 2022. If Doc Price EVER retires, I'm gonna need dentures.
