With a combined 50 years of experience practicing in the community, our patients and referring doctors are our friends, neighbors, childrens teachers, and our own health care providers. We live and work in the communities we share with our patients and referring doctors.

Dr. Niazi obtained his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from Case Western Reserve University in 2003. After practicing for five years as a general dentist in Tacoma and Gig Harbor, he attended the University of Southern California to become certified in Endodontics (root canal specialist).

Dr. Niazi's past experience as a general dentist is an asset in providing a multidisciplinary approach to long-term treatment in conjunction with a patient's general dentist. Dr. Niazi believes root canal treatment is the best method of saving teeth and improving oral health, an essential part of a patient's overall health. He believes that endodontic treatment should be affordable, comfortable, and of long-lasting results. Dr. Niazi has enjoyed returning home to serve the endodontic needs for the people of Pierce, Kitsap and Mason counties.

Dr. Niazi is active in endodontic research and publication. He has volunteered and traveled to El Salvador to provide endodontic care to the less fortunate. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Rebecca, and their daughter and son.

Dr. Olsson earned her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry at the University of Pennsylvania. She is a recipient of the Armys Health Professional Scholarship Program and served as a dental officer for four years directly after graduating from dental school. During that time, she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency program where her skills were refined practicing in the Landstuhl and Kaiserslautern multi-specialty clinics.

During her time of service, Dr. Olsson had the opportunity to complete a tour in Baghdad providing dental care for our deployed soldiers. After fulfilling her commitment to the US Army, she joined a private practice in the DC Metro area.

Dr. Olsson enjoys learning and growing professionally. As a general dentist she regularly attended ADA conferences, Spear Education courses and a variety of other hands on classes. Part of her professional growth included earning a Fellow designation with the AGD. After nearly a decade of general practice and completing over 65 credit hours in the endodontic specialty, Dr. Olsson returned to school to complete a residency in Endodontics. She and her family bundled that adventure with returning home to attend the University of Washington Graduate Endodontic Program.

Her memberships include: American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Washington State Dental Association, Pierce County Dental Society and the Kitsap County Dental Society. As a member of the American Association of Endodontists, Dr. Olsson is on track to earn Diplomate designation.

Dr. H was raised in Sweden where he earned a Master of Science Degree and Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Malmo University. He continued to practice general dentistry in a multi-specialty practice where he discovered his passion for endodontics. Dr. H was also a faculty member at Malmo University where he was active in research and publications.

In pursuit of professional growth, Dr. H moved to the United States and attended the University of Southern California, Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry. Here he completed his post-doctoral residency in Endodontics.

Dr. H now calls the Pacific Northwest home. Coincidentally, this area reminds him very much of where he grew up in Sweden. Hadjirs unique cross-cultural background and life experiences enable him to relate to everyone, regardless of socioeconomic, religious, or cultural background. He is fluent in English, Swedish, German and Farsi.

She loves working in the dental field because every day is an opportunity to make a dramatic and positive difference in someones life. She says her job is more than assisting a dentist; her job is one of reassurance, empathy and compassion.

Now that she passed her last national board exam to become a CDA, Tara enjoys spending time with her new husband in their new home...soaking in the hot tub, gardening and caring for their little zoo of animals. They can most certainly be found all over Western Washington fishing from their kayaks.

Kats mother has been her greatest role model when deciding to go into the dental field. She inspired Kat with her excellent patient care, how she commands the room and makes every patient feel comfortable and confident knowing that their dental needs and best interests are taken to heart.

During Kats free time, she spends time with her young son and his father. She loves to read a good book to relax and listen to music on long drives and let her mind and imagination wander. Whats her latest challenge? Developing a green thumb!

Madeline joins our Endodontic Team directly from Bremerton Dental Assisting School. After working with small children for several years she wanted a new adventure and career change. Puget Sound Endodontics is great. They made me feel very comfortable and Dr. Niazi explained everything that he was doing. I work in a dental office and we refer all of our patients here. This was my first time having a root canal and it was a great experience!

UPDATE: I had another appointment with Dr. Dr Niazi this last week. Once again, he and his team are so professional, friendly and gentle. No nerves or pain here! if you need an endodontist, ask your dentist to refer you to this office! My first review: Dr. Niazi and his team created a very relaxing and professional environment for my root canal yesterday. I had no anxiety or pain during or after. To be clear, my appt was not an emergency so was not in any pain when I arrived. An excellent experience all the way around! Thank you.

i give the entire team there 5 stars and would highly recommend Gig Harbor Endodontics to anyone needing a root canal. This morning I was in horrible pain, and by evening I am eating porkchops with the family. Not only did they all exceed my expectations while there but later i ran into the issue of not being able to get into a dentist for the filling and cap that comes after a root canal, and all i had to do was call the office back and i was scheduled for a week out. Dr. H. and his assisstant Mallery (sorry about the spelling) are awesome! Did i mention i hate going to the dentist.

What an amazing experience for a root canal. I fell asleep at one point. I was more nervous for the consultation because I thought I was getting a root canal same day. Meeting Dr H first and his amazing assistant made my actual root canal beyond pleasant. The staff at this offices are amazing and just make you feel relaxed and comfortable with such amazing care and great energy.

Unbelievably wonderful experience for a potentially icky tooth. Dr Niazi was thoughtful, provided excellent pre op instructions, and the procedure itself was painless. Truly painless. He and his staff were top of the line. Highly recommend. And Dr Niazi personally called to check in and to make sure my husband wasn't in pain.

Dr H was great! During the consult appointment he was kind and exuded a calmness that was comforting. He was thorough in the exam and his explanation of what he found was detailed and easy to understand. During the root canal it was more of the same great experience. It was as stress free as a root canal can be as well as efficient. The assistants and front office staff during both visits were awesome as well. Definitely recommend this practice. I visited both the Port Orchard and Gig Harbor locations and both were great overall.

I'm almost 8 months pregnant and got an infection and needed a root canal. Not a fun situation to be in. Gig Harbor Endodontics was amazing through the whole thing. They were careful with me being pregnant, which was top priority for me. This is my 3rd root canal, but the first time I've ever had the whole process explained to me. I had never been to an endodontist before and was very nervous. Every single person I interacted with at Gig Harbor Endodontics was nothing but kind, caring and helpful. They even tolerated my frequent bathroom breaks with Grace. They gave me follow up instructions, then called me later to make sure I was okay, and tell me what to expect. It's now been two days and my pain level has decreased drastically, it's now just tender when I eat. I seriously couldn't be happier with the service and wish they could be my every day dentists!
