Dr. Frank Celenza is uniquely certified in both Orthodontics and Periodontics. He received his Periodontal certificate from University of Pennsylvania in 1986 and his Orthodontic certificate from New York University in 1988.
Dr. Glen Liddelow completed a Bachelor of Dental Science and a Master of Dental Science from the University of Western Australia and a Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry (Prosthodontics) from the University of Sydney.
Dr. Ed McLaren received his D.D.S. from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, where he graduated Omicron Kappa Upsilon. After several years of general practice, he received his specialty certificate in Prosthodontics from UCLA School of Dentistry.
Dr. Francesco Mintrone was born in Milan on November 25 1968. At the beginning of his career, he started working as a dental technician specializing in fixed prosthesis and working in particular as a porcelain technician, following specific training in Italy and abroad.
Dr. Stavros Pelekanos graduated School of Dentistry, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in Greece and received Doctoral promotion Dept. of Prosthodontics, School of Dentistry, Albert-Ludwig University of Freiburg, Germany.
Dr. Peter Schupbach studied natural sciences at the Federal Technical High School of Switzerland and did 1979 his degree as Doctor of Science. He spent over 20 years at the Dental Institute of the University of Zurich as a head of a histological group.

Dr. Istvan Urban received his DMD degree and subsequently his MD degree from Semmelweis University School of Medicine and Dentistry (Budapest, Hungary) in 1991 and 1996. He completed a residency program in oral surgery at St. Istvan Hospital in Budapest, Hungary (1992-1996).
Dr. Sascha A. Jovanovic is considered a global expert in Implant Dentistry and one of the founders of guided bone regeneration (GBR) and Esthetic Implant Surgery with over 80 scientific publications, book chapters, and one text book.
He presents and teaches his implant protocols globally and is Academic Chair of the gIDE Institute, Assistant Professor of Loma Linda University, Past-President of the European Association of Osseointegration (EAO), Past-Co-Director of the UCLA Dental Implant Center, honorary member and award recipient of several academic organizations and editorial boards for scientific journals.
He was formally trained in periodontics at UCLA School of Dentistry; in Implant Dentistry at Loma Linda University and in Prosthodontics at University of Aachen, Germany and holds a Master of Sciences degree in Oral Biology from UCLA. Dr. Jovanovic's clinical research emphasizes esthetic and complex management in dental implant therapy and applied bone and soft tissue reconstruction techniques.

I have been Dr. Jovanovic's patient for over 15 years and he has given me 4 implants. I've never had an issue with any of them. I believe he does better work than most. His quality of service is at a much higher level than others, using the best material and equipment. His results will last much longer than most. I trust him more than any other doctors I've tried. The office is very clean and pleasant. Very professional and trustworthy.

Dr.Sascha Jovanovic is absolutely the best in implant and gums surgeries. He is the one that makes "impossible" implants, bone and gums situations possible and successful to restore. I had severe bone loss and gums loss around my old front 3 failing implants. He has a very unique technique , and he managed to successfully remove my old failing implants, place and grow lots of new bone and new gums. Thanks to his amazing knowledge, skill, and experience, he gave me back confidence in my smile. Today, thanks to Dr. Sascha Jovanovic and his amazing staff and team of doctors and dental technicians he works with, I am a very happy patient with beautiful "Hollywood smile".

I've been coming here for the last 10 years believe it or not! Although I've never had to have any major work done (Thankfully) I love coming here for my teeth cleanings and regular mouth maintenance. A few years ago they even had me come in for an emergency tooth pulling! Overall great team of both Dr's and assistants! There is a cool little cafe now 2 doors over you can wait at or have some post dental eats and treats. This place is super modern with a European aesthetic too if ur into that. Thank you gIDE!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Dr. Jovanovic and this team helped me when I recently fractured a tooth. I thought for sure it was an extraction and much more complicated treatment. It ended up being much simpler and all options were thoroughly explained. Thank you so much for the great service. I would recommend this office to everyone.

I had a long history of gum problems. During my middle school and high school years I discovered that I had a cyst located in the back of my gums in my second to last upper tooth that led to a bunch of gum loss. Unfortunately with little guidance I was forced to lose the tooth and was left with a bad implant that has caused many infections. Years later, I was forced to lose the implant along with the tooth beside it. I had so many dentist and periodontists who told me that it would be near impossible to build height to for so much bone loss. After talking to my dentist, Dr Assili in Northridge recommended Dr. Jovanovic after being his student in UCLA dental school and I am so glad that he did. Gide staff are extremely patient and caring and have been able to help me with such a tough and complicated dental case. From the bone graft, to the gum graft, to the implant, and even the crown. Thank you Gide!!!

I was referred to this specialist due to some severe damage to my jaw bone and gum tissue caused by a previous attempt to place an implant to replace a missing front tooth. I didn't even get a chance to do my consultation. We showed up for my appointment, was left waiting in the waiting room for about 40 mins. After finally being brought back to the patient chair the assistant took a few pictures and said the Dr. would be there soon. I waited for another 30 mins only to find out the Dr. had not even been in the office. The assistant finally told us she was unable to reach the Dr. and had apologized. However we rescheduled our appointment for the next day with a promise to call and confirm the appointment the Dr. could be onsite. We never received the confirmation call for the appointment the next day. The unprofessionalism of this office is shocking, they should be embarrassed.

In 2013, a leading periodontist performed an implant procedure on my tooth #7 that went disastrously wrong. It resulted in severe bone loss and gum recession that permanently disfigured my smile. I am in the entertainment industry, so these consequences were far greater for me than for most. Although Dr. Sascha Jovanovic did not do the initial implant, I was referred to the gIDE Center to mitigate the damage. Conversations with other patients while in the waiting area revealed that others had come from far and wide to correct errant procedures. His reputation appeared to be stellar. I met with Dr. Jovanovic, he took x-rays and upon full evaluation, he promised me the moon. He touted a "gum regenerative" product that he had developed that would produce transformative results. I was to discover that promotion, swagger and false hopes are his genuine strengths. Delivering on his promises is not. During the following two years I endured at least six gum-graft surgeries using his patented product. All of them failed. The cost was exorbitant. I recall him saying he would never resort to using pink porcelain on me. He didn't approve of the look of it and wanted better for me. In 2015 I left his practice for the last time with pink porcelain with the look of chewing gum visibly present above and around tooth #7 and worse yet, an implant crown that was a glaringly different color than my other teeth. Moreover, it was customary to wait at least an hour for my scheduled appointments at gIDE. No apologies. At times I was forgotten altogether. I was terribly unhappy, dissatisfied and self-conscious with every aspect of my gIDE experience. He on the other hand carried on, proclaiming his brand around the world. This year, 2021, after eight years of trying to hide and camouflage my defective smile, I found a little-known prosthodontist in Tempe, Arizona named Dr. Mark Montana. He does not advertise. He relies uniquely on word of mouth. In 6 months, prescribing a bold and innovative plan, he has beautifully restored my teeth, my confidence and my spirit.
