Dr. Smith has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University School of Engineering and a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry.

I have been going to Gibsonville Family Dentistry for years. Dr. Smith is always so kind and our family loves everyone in the office. They keep our teeth clean and cavity free! Will always recommend this office to everyone I know!

Got all of my wisdom teeth pulled here and everyone there made me feel so comfortable and Dr. Smith did amazing! Love this little dentist office everyone is so sweet!

Everyone here is so nice, I highly recommend Dr.Smith! She's so sweeet to me and even all the other staff just had me smiling from ear to ear before I left! Best place if you wanted feel comfortable and welcome!

I was 8 months pregnant and I needed 2 fill ins. I asked the dentist to tell me before proceeding to the next one because I wasn't sure I would be able to lay down for long enough for both. Long story short.. I ended up telling her I needed a break and that's when she told me she was almost done with the second tooth! She never bothered to tell me she was moving on to the next. She said something along the lines of getting out of there for lunch or leaving for the day. I can't remember exactly because I waited a long while before posting this review. She has no bedside manner whatsoever and neither did her dental assistant at this appointment. Dr smith is always rushing or in a hurry, and just not personable. Her receptionist Kristy is amazing though.

Prior to coming to her my teeth were in good health all of a sudden when I came to her I needed all these fillings thought somebody was young and dumb.my instinct said get a second opinion left immediately after she tried to get me for 3 appointments and went to another dentist no necessary fillings was needed what a coincidence and she doesn't have no beside manners VERY disappointed in Mrs. Gaylia Smith.

Anxious patient, had to have 3 teeth filled. Dr. Smith was amazing! She was so kind, making sure I was ok at every step of the process. Even with a lengthy appointment, my mouth was not in pain after the numbing wore off. Highly recommend - one of the best dental experiences I've ever had!

My boyfriend had the worst experience at this place. Dentist was very unprofessional. He had to go back to get a filling redone. Once it was redone and the numbing wore off he was in the worst pain ever, nothing would relieve him. Came to a different dentist for them to tell us his nerve is severely inflamed and that she hoped Gibsonville didn't actually drill into my boyfriends nerve. Overall not a great experience, would not go back!

My fiance called me crying because the dentist, Dr. Smith ridiculed her during her appointment in front of the hygienist. She was degrading and made uncalled for comments about her. DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST!

The ladies in this office are great especially Kristie(not sure if the spelling) Dr Smith has always been super nice to me as well as my children. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is issue with billing.

A+ for AMAZING I called on a Monday as a new patient due to excruciating pain They went above and beyond and even though they were fully booked after calling patients back that haven't confirmed their appointments I got a call back and they fit me in the same day - and this as a NEW patient The staff is super friendly and helpful No attitude or snotty comments Dr Smith was friendly and super knowledgeable as well Being pregnant in my first trimester there weren't a lot of options as in treatment and medication but Dr Smith knew exactly what and what not without having to think or double check The extraction of my tooth was painless- apart from some pressure there was NO pain I have been through a lot of dentists in Germany, Africa and the USA I loved my experience and already told my husband who has had bad experiences with dentists to try them. We all might have a bad day and we are allowed to even as a dentist or assistant but my experience with this practice was 100% positive

My husband was referred to this dentist his first time to a dentist in a long time the receptionist was nice the hygienist was nice however the dentist she was rude, crude and ruthless., she showed no compassion will not recommend her to anyone suggest DO NOT GO....

I am pleased with my experience. The service was quick and friendly. I highly recommend. They were able to squeeze me in for an impromptu visit. They were concerned with my long-term care.
