Drs. McKenna and Matt Gibson are Madison dentists that have dedicated themselves to clinical excellence in dentistry, and they recognize that each patient is an individual with a unique set of dental challenges, concerns, and possible anxieties. They strongly believe in patient education and prevention to provide patients the most conservative and predictable approach to maintaining their dental health long-term. Even with two dentists married to each other, there is still life outside of dentistry. They try (although often unsuccessfully) to not talk about teeth outside of the office. Dr. Matt enjoys outdoor activities, such as hunting and fishing. Dr. McKenna loves spending her time being with the kids and crafting.

They both enjoy anything sports related, especially football and basketball. Sorry, Bama fanshe is a big fan of Auburn athletics, and she is a Tennessee Volunteer at heart. At least they can agree on orange.

Dr. McKenna graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry, where she served as Vice President of her class and was recognized as the 2014 Dentist of the Year by the Birmingham District Dental Society. Before attending UAB, she was a Blue Raider at Middle Tennessee State University and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry from MTSUs Honors College.

Dr. Matt Gibson is a native of Madison, Alabama, and a graduate of Bob Jones High School. He received his undergraduate degree from Auburn University and then went on to attend UAB School of Dentistry, where he graduated first in his class. Immediately following dental school, Dr. Matt completed a general dentistry residency at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in San Antonio, Texas, where he had the privilege and honor of helping many of our nations veterans while learning how to deliver the highest quality care in cosmetic, restorative, and surgical dentistry.

After five years of practicing general dentistry, Dr. Matt's passion for learning led him to go back to UAB to complete his orthodontics residency. We are so excited to be able to offer comprehensive orthodontics in our practice! Dr. Matt enjoys treating both kids and adults and offers treatment with traditional metal braces, clear ceramic braces, and Invisalign!

As a native of Huntsville, AL and graduate of Grissom High School, Dr. Shannon Morey, has returned to the North Alabama area to serve the Madison community. She received her bachelors degree from Auburn University Honors College and went on to graduate from the UAB School of Dentistry. Advancing the dental community is a priority for Dr. Morey as she participates in materials research for testing new dental materials in the Biomaterial Department at UAB.

Dr. Morey is passionate about dentistry and the opportunity to create long term relationships with our patients. It is important to her to help patients overcome any dental anxieties they may feel. She is known around the office for establishing wonderful rapport with our patients.

Crystal was born in West Point, MS but grew up in Tuscaloosa, AL. She has lived all over the world because her dad was in the Air Force. She received an Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene from Wallace State Community College and her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from East Tennessee State University.

A member of the Gibson Dental team since 2019, Crystal always enjoys bringing a smile to her patients' faces and loves working with such a fabulous team who know her best for always smiling and making others laugh.

Jenn joined Gibson Dental in 2017 and received her dental hygiene training through the Alabama Dental Hygiene Program. She loves everything about her jobtaking care of our patients, our amazing team, and all of our awesome doctors.

Britney is a native of Decatur, AL and has been with Gibson Dental since 2017. She attended Calhoun Community College for her dental assistant training and then went on to the University of Alabama at Birmingham for the Alabama Dental Hygiene Program.

Three things that Britney loves are the Lord, going on dates with her husband Jonathan, and spending time with her two children, Evan and Darcy. She also likes hanging out with her twin sister and also manages to make time in her life for friends and chocolate.

Abby attended the Huntsville Dental Assisting Program for her training and is a native of Madison, AL. She enjoys the team she works with and building relationships with patients and always seeing them leave our office with a happy smile. Abby recently joined Gibson Dental in 2019 and is best known by her co-workers for being very helpful and easygoing, and always finding the good in any situation.

Abby loves working at Gibson Dental, her family/friends, and body barre and yoga. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities, such as shooting, hunting, and hiking, and playing with her Great Pyrenees Sadie.

Traci joined the Gibson Dental team in 2017 and is the happy, smiling face you see when you come in the door! She enjoys getting to know patients from their first phone call and building long-lasting relationships with them. Traci is happy to be part of a team with such great co-workers and bosses.

A native of Ider, AL, Traci is best known by her co-workers for being the Gibson Dental Team Mom. Three things Traci loves are the color green, pineapples, and Little Rosies breakfasts. In her free time, youll find Traci hiking, reading, or watching movies.

Hanah was born and raised in Jackson, AL. She lived in Mobile, AL for several years before settling in Madison, AL with her husband, Joel. They have called Madison home since June 2020 and are loving it!

Hanah has worked in the medical and dental field since 2012. She enjoys learning new things and taking on challenges. She has a passion for taking care of patients and addressing their concerns in an efficient manner.

Jennifer attended Wallace State Community College where she received her Associate's Degree in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. She joined Gibson Dental in 2020 and loves having the opportunity to serve others.
