Dr. Gibby received his post-graduate endodontic training and masters degree at the University of Missouri Kansas City, where he was the chief resident. He graduated summa cum laude with a 4.0 GPA. In 2006, he graduated #1 in his class from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry.

I was referred to Dr. Gibby by my dentist for a root canal because the canals were very narrow. I called Dr. Gibby's office before leaving my dentist and asked to schedule a root canal. He couldn't see me for a week which I understand but when I get to the appointment I spend over 30 mins in the waiting room before the dental assistant takes me back and informs me that she has to do additional X-rays even though my dentist had sent them over, she then comes back and says I need a CT scan because the canals are narrow and that isn't covered by insurance. They couldn't tell that from the X-rays my dentist sent over? I then asked how long it was going to take to do the CT scan and root canal and she tells me that they only scheduled me for a consultation and I will have to schedule the root canal for another time. I'm glad I not in a lot of pain. Through all of this I never saw Dr. Gibby. I won't be back. I will update this comparing the experience I have in finally getting this root canal taken care of.

They explained everything well and were upfront with the pricing. I had a root canal and wasn't too excited, I chose the Gentle Wave procedure and I'm thoroughly "satisfied with my care" ;)

Dr. Gibby is my hero! He saved me from having to go 5 days over a holiday weekend in pain from an abscess tooth getting me in for my emergency odontological need. When my dentist failed me, Dr. Gibby right in and took care of me. Bedside manner, explanation of what was happening, and his overall willingness to help someone who was not his pre established patient prove he goes beyond with his patient care. His kindness saved me today.
