Dr. Larry was born and raised in Rochester, NY and attended Bishop Kearney High School. He went on to study biology and chemistry at St. John Fisher College and the State University of New York at Oneonta to finish his undergraduate degree. In 1988, he graduated from the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine with his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. Dr. Larry followed in his fathers footsteps and joined him in private practice to continue providing high quality dental care. He is also certified in Dental Enteral Conscious Sedation, along with certification in Botox. With 30 years of dental experience, Dr. Larry is caring and compassionate and strives to deliver optimal care to his patients. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Seventh District Dental Society, New York State Dental Society, and Apollonian Dental Society. Dr. Larry enjoys reading up on advances in dentistry and attending seminars to give his patients the most up to date treatment and care. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and is hoping to finish his 9th marathon.
Dr. Park earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the School of Dentistry at the University of Michigan. He has been actively working in private practice for 5 years. The part I love most about practicing dentistry is working with patients that are in great need of dental care and really having an impact on their lives through my care. Dr. Park resides in Webster with his four children. He is very active in his community and holds church leadership. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Park enjoys spending time outdoors, fishing and hiking, as well as traveling with his family.
Dr. Alessandro Geminiani, DDS, MSc, MS is a board-certified periodontist with Giangreco Family Dental. Dr. Geminiani received his D.D.S. degree from the University of Siena (Italy) in 2004, summa cum laude. He then pursued a Master of Science in Fixed Prosthodontics and Prosthetic Dental Materials, graduating in 2006. During this 2-year residency, Dr. Geminiani acquired advanced skills focusing on the replacement of missing teeth. He participated in several clinical research projects investigating treatment options for the patients that have lost their teeth due to periodontal disease or caries. He is fluent in English, Spanish and Italian. Dr. Geminiani enjoys spending time with his family. During his free time he likes to bike in the parks of Pittsford, NY and to train in Martial Arts.
When it comes to removing minor tooth decay and restoring the appearance of teeth, dental fillings are a standard procedure for achieving a beautiful and cost-effective result. Unlike noticeable silver tooth filling, a composite white material can be used to provide a virtually invisible look that strengthens and lowers risk for fracture.
Endodontic treatment is needed when the nerve of a tooth is affected by decay or infection. In order to save a tooth, the tissue is removed and the resulting space is filled with special, medicated dental materials to help restore the tooth. Having a root canal done is the treatment of choice to save a tooth that otherwise would have to be removed.
Think of dental implants as man-made roots. When dental implants are placed, they bond with your natural bone. They become a sturdy base for supporting one or more artificial teeth, called crowns. A connector-known as an abutment-is placed on top of the dental implant to hold an support the crown. The crown is custom-made to match the natural tooth and fit your mouth. Dr. Geminiani is also certified in IV -sedation and can be used during oral surgery procedures such as implants or third molar extractions to put your mind at ease.
Bruxism, also known as clenching and grinding, can cause irreversible damage over time if not prevented. At out office, we offer bruxism appliances, such as Essix night guards, soft splints, NTI appliances, or sports guards. These appliances act to remind you consciously and subconsciously not to grind or clench your teeth. It does this by separating the teeth with a layer of plastic so that the teeth no longer fit tightly together. If you are concerned about whether you have the signs or symptoms of tooth bruxism, or if you need a splint or night guard made, our office can help better answer all of your questions or concerns.

I met Dr Giangreco by accident and am sooo glad I did. Going to the dentist isn't an enjoyable experience for most and he is the first one I've met that doesn't suck! Kind, friendly, funny staff and a Dr who actually cares and explains is what you will get here. Thank you for helping me, I am going to refer anyone I possibly can to you!

Dr. G is the best! If you're like me and have an extreme dentist phobia and/or anxiety, you really should visit him. He is very gentle and takes time to explain without lecturing. He gets the job done fast and makes sure you are comfortable before and during your procedure. The entire staff is friendly and welcoming. I don't cry when I have to go to the dentist anymore! Amazing family practice! Staff is very friendly, office is clean and up to date with the latest protocols. My very nervous 6 year old needed a tooth extracted. She was greeted with a welcoming high five by the doctor, and talked through the whole process. In her words, "Everyone was so nice and it didn't hurt, Dr Larry is a life saver!". If you're looking for a dentist for the whole family, you've found it!

I challenge you to find a better dental office for yourself and your family. I drive an hour to bring my family to Dr Giangreco, and it's worth every minute! Everyone that works in this office is friendly, helpful, kind, and amazing! They are timely, organized, clean, and professional. The equipment and technology is top notch, and you can be sure the work done in your mouth is high quality. Dr Giangreco and his staff have an incredible amount of love and patience when handling their patients. My 8 year old son is autistic, and has never done well with appointments of any kind. Everyone in this office has always been helpful and understanding when we come, and because of that, we've had many years of successful visits! I can't put into words the comfort it brings me to see them work with my son. Thank you, Dr Giangreco and staff, for 20+ years of excellent care! Here's to another 20!

I have been a patient of Giangreco Family dental for more than 50 years, Dr. Larry is an extremely professional and compassionate doctor, as was his father, and I absolutely trust him and his excellent staff. In addition, the practice has exceeded all expectations regarding Covid-19 precautions. I have been to a number of doctor's offices and medical facilities recently and none have come close to what Giangreco Family dental is doing to keep patients and staff safe. Dr. Larry even installed air purifiers in every room!

Our family was referred to Giangreco Family Dentist by a friend back in 2007 and we've been using them ever since. Our experiences have always been positive with each and every staff member. They are warm and personable and always able to work with our schedules to provide convenient appointments. Another plus is we've never had to wait longer than a few minutes when we arrive. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist.
