Dr. Winkler D.D.S. emigrated to the United States from Germany in 1963 working as an electrical engineer for an American company. At the age of 30, he went back to college and realized his dream of becoming a dentist. He practiced for 15 years in Bethesda, Maryland, as a dentist to German, Swiss, and Austrian Embassies. He later followed his son, a physician, to California where he has continued to practice general dentistry in Fallbrook as well as restorative dentistry and sedation dentistry.
This esteemed Fallbrook dentist keeps abreast of advances in technology and employs only those innovations that he feels will be most beneficial to his patients. Each patient's treatment is specific and individualized for him or her.

Dr. Winkler and his staff are the best I have seen. I came in for an implant and the work was exceptional and the staff patient and knowledgeable.

The staff is super friendly and Dr. Winkler is amazing! After having a horrible experience with another dentist that ruined my front teeth and left me self-conscious about my smile for ten years. I finally found Dr. Winkler! He was not only able to give me a pain free experience when fixing a few teeth that need root canals in the back but was also able to fix my tooth in the front. I have more confidence than ever and I absolutely love smiling now.

Dr. Winkler is the best dentist I've been too in a long time . His skill ,compassion and understanding shows in his abilities As a skilled professional. I have my family and friends go to him and everyone agrees that he makes a not so pleasant trip to the dentist very enjoyable!
