Germantown Smiles is great! They treat everyone like family! They have your best interests in mind when providing superior dental care. Dr. Johnson is caring, gentle and very experienced. She should be your first choice! Will definitely be a life long patient!

Five star service! I have been a patient for almost 3 years. Dr Johnson and staff are so kind and caring. The office is always clean and fresh. I have been to other offices which seem like an assembly line--- At those offices I felt like nothing more than an account number. Dr Johnson and staff treat me and my family like their family. I recently had all my upper front teeth crowned with Dr J. She did an AMAZING job! No one can tell they are crowns and for the first time in 15 years, I love my smile!!!

This review may seem like a novel, but I hope you read it completely to the end. First, the office is clean and staff are friendly. We were with Dr. Sibel Johnson for at least 3 years for regular cleanings which I happily give 5 stars. Then in late May, Dr. Sibel insisted I get a filling replaced because of a tiny crack. Weeks later the tooth was still very sensitive and I was not able to chew on that side at all. Went in to get it looked at. She checked and started to use a drill-like tool to smooth it down because the filling could have been too "high". (Even though the blue stain test showed it was not.) I immediately told her to stop because it was very painful. She wouldn't listen and went back in for another round. Dr. Sibel had no sympathy even after I told her it was PAINFUL. Days later my tooth and jaw started to throb like hell. Finally ended up with a root canal. Very upsetting and suspicious since I've never had an issue with this tooth for at least 15 years since I've had a filling. I don't have a history of dental issues. This was my first root canal ever. Plus they did not review (as usual) any insurance concerns or copays for the two visits after the messed up filling. They notified me of a balance for those two visits after I said we would not be returning and to cancel all future appointments previously made. She also insisted my son needed surgery to fix his jaw. But after my incident, I have indeed found a new dentist because I do no longer have faith in Dr. Sibel Johnson's judgement as a dentist and because of her lack of sympathy as a person. Beware and get a second opinion especially when she insists on any dental work. Will save yourself a lot of money and pain!

Refused to see me despite having dental insurance. Found them on the providers website. They rescheduled twice before ultimately cancelling. All around mediocre customer service.

I always have a great experience at this office! The staff is always friendly, sweet and helpful and Dr. Johnson is a wonderful physician who I always trust in my care. Highly recommend!

BOTTOM LINE - GO ELSEWHERE. There are much better dentists in the Germantown area. The hygienists were always above average, but Dr. Johnson never stood out as particularly skilled in any one category. She's average, gets frustrated easily, and has very poor follow-up. Seriously, be sure to shop around before making an appointment here. The office staff is nice, but you aren't going to a dentist because their office staff is nice. If you are going in for a basic cleaning, you'll be in good hands with the hygienists. However, if you are relying on Dr. Johnson's technical skills as a dentist you're going to be disappointed 50% of the time. Don't say that I didn't warn you!

I had my first visit today for teeth cleaning and check up. The entire staff was professional and friendly. The dental hygienist (Jackie) did a great job cleaning my teeth and provided me with helpful tips to maintain healthy teeth/gums. Dr. Sibil Johnson did a thorough examination and gave her resulting recommendations moving forward. I was comfortable and well informed throughout the process.

First, I would like to personally thank Dr. Johnson's office and her team for being so attentive and caring not just towards me but to all of the patients' that enter her dental office. Dr. Johnson and her staff always welcomed me with a smile, which was nice to see and feel welcomed. Secondly, the service Dr. Johnson provides is exceptional and top-notch. She is of high excellence in her work ethics, how she treats patients', and the performance of her work is excellent. She is knowledgeable and exemplifies it by training her staff to exude the same type of care and service to everyone. I have never ( never is a strong word) had a bad experience in terms of dental service or treatment. I am and will be a loyal patient. In addition, the whole outlook of the office was clean and well-organized. Third, I cannot stress this enough but the level of professionalism shown to her staff and patients' is above and beyond. The dental hygienists are lovely ladies who emulate the same work ethics and care as Dr. Johnson. The manner in which everyone is treated truly shows the magnitude of care and respect Dr. Johnson and her team showed towards each other and the patients' was so refreshing. Finally, I am grateful to be a patient of such an exceptional dentist and person whose attitude towards her work, her patients, and her staff is her number one priority. Thank you Dr. Johnson and everyone juxtaposed alongside her for providing exceptional service and care.

My experience with Germantown smiles starting from The front desk to all staff including Dr Johnson have been one of the best in my lifetime. If you want a wonderful, informative caring dental office I would give this office 10 stars..

I really like the doctor and the staff, they are extremely friendly and very accommodating. Every year, I usually need a document filled out from them, and it's always last minute on my part, and they reply within minutes-hours to my request and it makes my day. I had an excellent experience, everybody seems so nice specially Jennifer she help me at front and over the phone she was very helpful and polite, and then I had a great cleaning with the hygienist Daina she was so nice and make me feel comfortable as Im five months pregnant I was so nerves and worry, due to my previous experiences at my previous Dentist, they were not the best but I was so impressed how gentle she was I didn't need numbing she was very compassionate and instructed me very well, then Dr Johnson was wonderful she came in after to make sure my cleaning was done well, she checked my mouth as well I was inquiring for information of the invisible liners, at any moment she make me feel pressured about doing any expensive treatments, she gave me sugestions and Im more than happy and please. Im most definitely coming back to this office and I will probably do the invisible liners once im done with my pregnancy, I will send my husband in the future. Thank you Germantown Smiles

The staff and hygienists are excellent. The dentist is questionable. I have been going here for a few years. Recently, she told me I had 5 cavities between my teeth in the back. I went for a 2nd opinion and the xrays showed NO cavities.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Johnson for years. She is an amazing dentist. Having been through traumatic dental experiences when I was younger, I hadn't been to the dentist in awhile. My husband introduced me to her and she took extra time to calm my nerves and make me more comfortable with the process. She's also done dental work for me including finishing two crowns that I waited forever to have finished because I was too scared. She is conservative in her approach and I highly recommend her. Also, her staff is great. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. We commute from DC to see her.
