Dr Jim Kellum is excited to serve patients at Germantown Dental. After growing up in Tupelo, Mississippi, Jim followed hometown hero Elvis Presleys lead and moved to Tennessee where he graduated from Lipscomb University in 2004 and University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in 2009. Dr. Kellum has committed to continuing his dental education through individual learning, study clubs, professional organizations and advanced training seminars. Dr. Kellum views knowledge of advancing materials, technology and techniques in the ever-changing world of dentistry to be crucial in offering patients excellence in oral care. Dr. Kellums treatment philosophy has always been to treat every patient with the same consideration and kindness he would show to his own mother. He believes that his dental expertise only has value if it is delivered with comfort and compassion. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association and Nashville Dental Society and gives back by work with Hopes Smiles and Interfaith Dental Clinic.
Dr. Kellum and his wife, Sara, enjoy spending afternoons at the Science Museum with their two young children. They also enjoy traveling, hikes at Radnor, live music, picnics at Cheekwood Garden and date nights at Nashvilles great restaurants. Dr. Kellum is grateful to be able to serve the growing and vibrant Historic Germantown neighborhood.

The staff here anre incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They took their time with my cleaning and answered all of my questions about my dental care.

Fast, efficient and friendly as always. Some new hygienists lately and they are just as excellent as the prior ones. My wife goes here, too. Dr K is super friendly and the team running the office for him is the same. Very pleasant experience and service is always great. They are also very good about being practical when additional treatments (retainers, fillings, etc . . .) are needed - you won't be ripped off or unnecessarily "upsold" here, either. Would recommend to anyone.

Dr. Kellum and his crew are exceptional! My wife and I have been patients for a couple of years and we have always had a great experience at Germantown Dental. The people are kind and professional, the location is super convenient, and the place has an excellent vibe.

Germantown Dental is excellent! I started going to them when I had just moved to Nashville because they were so close to my first apartment and have been a patient ever since. It was beyond easy to transfer dental records from my old dentist. They took care of everything once I gave them the office info. I truly have never had a bad experience with them, my dental hygienists have always been so kind, and Dr. Kellum is awesome!

Thank you thank you thank you...arrived in Nashville and my bridge fell out...no eating or drinking could happen. Great experience! Itzel and Dr. Kellum were both super knowledgeable, helpful, and made me feel super comfortable! Going to the dentist is typically unpleasant for me, but everything went so smooth here! Itzel did a great job with the cleaning and explaining everything she was doing!
