Dr. Ben Gerkin graduated with honors from the University of Oklahoma in 1999 with a Health and Sport Sciences degree. In 2004, he graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. After graduating Dr. Gerkin immediately went into the dental field and purchased this practice in August 2008.
Understanding the importance of continuing education, he has been trained and certified in Invisalign and Clear Correct. He also received advanced training in CEREC restorations, implant dentistry and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Gerkin also holds professional memberships and titles with the American Dental Association, the Oklahoma Dental Association, Tulsa County Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Gerkins practice philosophy centers around prevention and comprehensive care. He and his staff are dedicated to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for both our patients and employees. They are also dedicated to the overall dental needs of their patients through education, thorough diagnosis, treatment, prevention and maintenance. His goal is to provide patients with the finest dental care while building trust and confidence for a lifetime.
For Dr. Gerkin, there are many rewarding aspects to dentistry, including giving patients a reason to smile again and changing a patients perception of dentistry. It is priceless when his patients mention to him that they are now eating foods they havent eaten in decades, smiling in pictures again, or living with a new sense of confidence because of the dentistry he has provided for them.
Lisa has been in the dental field since 1987. She graduated from the Dental Assistant Program at Bryan Institute and is a diverse member of the team, taking care of administrative and clinical responsibilities. Lisa loves working with patients to help them understand treatments and their insurance benefits. She also enjoys working with a small group.
Anna helps our patients with their insurance benefits, making sure everyone is familiar with their plans. She has worked in the dental field since 1995. Anna graduated from Northeastern State University and the Tulsa Technology Center Dental Assistant Program. She enjoys helping others achieve their goals and getting their smile back.
Gena helps Dr. Gerkin with a variety of different procedures as a dental assistant. She has been in the dental field since 1989. She graduated from the Tulsa Technology Centers dental assisting program. Gena enjoys seeing the transformations the patients go through when they visit Dr. Gerkins office. She looks forward to hearing about their patients lives from school to work to their families and friends.
Tammy helps Dr. Gerkin with a variety of different procedures from radiographs and fluoride applications to education and laser treatments. She graduated from Parkland College and has been in the dental field since 1982. Tammy enjoys helping people and creating a positive dental experience for patients.
