Dr. Christopher M. Geric was raised in Ormond Beach, Florida. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida in 1997 and his Doctorate in Dental Medicine, with honors, from the University of Florida in 2001. Following graduation, Dr. Geric was proudly commissioned in the United States Navy and completed a one year General Practice Residency at Naval Medical Center San Diego. He was then stationed with the 3rd Marine Forces Pacific in Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, where he deployed on several humanitarian aid missions in the South Pacific. Dr. Geric returned to Florida in 2005 to complete his Endodontic residency at Nova Southeastern University. He studied Endodontics internationally, completing a surgical fellowship at the University of Tlaxcala in Mexico.
Dr. Geric continues to pursue education as a co-founder and endodontic advisor of Advanced Dental Seminars of Jacksonville. He is a past president of the Jacksonville Dental Society and is an active member of the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and the Northeast District Dental Association.
Dr. Gary Manasse was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. He graduated from The University of Florida with honors in 1989 with a B.S. degree majoring in Zoology. Dr. Manasse attended the University of Florida College of Dentistry and received his D.M.D. degree in 1993, at which time he was also inducted into the honorary dental society OKU. He completed a general practice hospital-based residency in 1994 at the V.A. hospital in Miami, Florida, and his post-graduate endodontic residency at the University of Florida in 1997, where he spent his final year as chief resident. Dr. Manasse continued in academics and was an assistant professor in the Department of Endodontics at the University of Florida from 1999-2001 where he taught both graduate residents and undergraduate dental students. He remains on staff as a volunteer clinical professor in the department. Dr. Manasse has been a solo practicing endodontist since 2001 in Jacksonville, Florida. He is involved with multiple charitable and social organizations. He is also a member of the America Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Northeast District Dental Association and the Florida Association of Endodontists.
Priscilla was raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia and has been a resident of Jacksonville, Florida since 2001. She was motivated to enter the dental field after volunteering with her family dentist who helped her overcome her childhood fear and anxiety related to dental treatment. She has been dedicated to aiding patients overcome their dental anxieties through empathetic care and thorough patient education ever since. Priscilla received her expanded functions dental assistant and radiography certification from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. Priscilla has enjoyed working in various aspects of dentistry since 2002. She has focused on the specialty of endodontics since 2005. Drawing from nearly two decades of dental experience, Priscilla continues to guide our office towards ever higher standards of outstanding care. Her in depth knowledge of the intricate details of dental insurance, health guidelines and endodontic procedures aids her in navigating thru the clerical, clinical and financial aspects of each patient's visit. As office manager with our practice since 2010, Priscilla collaborates with the referring doctors, staff and patient to create an exceptional experience to address the individual needs of each endodontic case with ease and expertise.
Originally from Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, Cynthia moved to Jacksonville, FL in 2001. Cynthia first realized she wanted to be in the dental field during high school after volunteering in a six month co-operative dental education program. She received her dental radiography certification from the University of Florida. From the initiation of her dental career in 2002, Cynthia has specialized particularly in the field of microscopic endodontics. Devoting her entire dental career to the endodontic specialty, Cynthia's clinical experience is tailored to provide a seamless experience. Her extensive endodontic knowledge and keen attention to detail combined with her calm demeanor makes her a valuable asset to our team as Head Clinical Assistant. She enjoys the one on one experience with each patient with the goal of making each individual feel comfortable throughout their entire dental experience. In addition to her role at our office, Cynthia is also active in the local Jacksonville community and mission relief efforts abroad.
Cassie is a native of Jacksonville, Florida. Prior to her dental training, she was experienced as a certified nursing assistant (CNA). She focused on caring for the elderly community, specifically patients coping with Alzheimer's disease and dementia. Her medical experience is a great asset to our office in providing compassionate care in a calm and patient manner. Interest was piqued during a visit with her family dentist when she was informed of a local dental assisting program. Cassie received her expanded functions dental assistant and radiography certification from Bartram Dental Assisting School in 2016. As part of our team, Cassie now finds satisfaction in transferring her years of medical experience in providing exceptional care to our dental patients as a chairside dental assistant and radiographer. Cassie also enjoys working in the front office of the practice. Her focus, efficiency and organizational skills help facilitate smooth operations in the front office, while building comforting, trusting relationships with patients. It is her goal to work together with the referring staff and doctors to make each visit a positive experience for each patient.
Born and raised in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Mikenna moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 2016. Mikenna was inspired to join dentistry, ever since she stumbled upon the Bartram Dental Assisting program where she received her expanded functions dental assistant and radiography certification. Mikenna excelled in dental assisting school, earning the title of Class Valedictorian. Upon graduating in 2017, Mikenna immediately acquired a position at a general dentistry office and quickly advanced to Lead Dental Assistant. After working in general dentistry, she then decided to specialize in endodontics! Mikenna was a true gem of a find to add to our dental assisting team! As she personally guides you thru each step of your visit, we are sure you will be put at ease by her kind and confident demeanor coupled with her diligence in providing exceptional care.
Originally from Thetford, England, Emily moved to Jacksonville, FL in 2020 from Spain. Emily's interest to become a dental assistant was sparked early in childhood, as she always enjoyed visits to her family dentist. She graduated the dental assisting program at Metropolitain Institute of Health and Technology and received her Dental Radiographer Certification from University of Florida College of Dentistry. Emily was a standout with her international experience and spirit of adaptability and determination. She is a valued member of our clinical dental team! A top rate practice at a top rate cost. But it's well worth it if you can afford it. Chris has an extraordinary sense of the psychology of pain management and an excellent capacity for putting patients at ease. His technical skills are unparalleled and that combination is why he gets five stars. Also, a very pleasant office with very professional and helpful assistants. All in all, quite a positive experience

This place is amazing. My first visit, I was nervous. Cassie, and Dr. Manasse assured me, everthing was going to be fine. Dr. Manasse took the time before my procedure, and explained everything in detail, and in laymans term to make sure I understod and was comfortable with the process. His reassurance, patience, and most importantly, his professionalism was displayed without a word during my procedure. Cassie was also very knowelageable, and continued to reassure me, I was in the best hands!!! My procedure was a breeze, no pain, no discomfort. I cannot express my greatfulness, and thankfulness for such an awwesome team.

There is nothing fun about a root canal, but Dr. Geric and his staff made it pain-free and not scary! I have had 2 root canals with them over the course of a year and both were not painful! He talked me through the entire procedure, letting me know everything he was doing. They even called to check on me the next day. I will never go anywhere but here for these types of procedures!

Dr Geric and his team are top-notch. I am very grateful for Dr Geric's expertise, skill, and use of the latest technology. But beyond that is his compassion and willingness to spend the time to explain the situation with my tooth. I had a lot of questions and he answered them all completely and with patience. Everyone in his office was excellent to deal with, with a number of follow-up calls putting me at ease and showing genuine concern.

I was sent to another Endodontist who told me I could get on their lottery picks or see them the end of October for my very painful tooth. Geric Endodontics made my appointment in 24 hours, the staff was amazing and when I arrived for my root canal every was ready. I was brought into the room, the dentist came in and made sure I was comfortable. The procedure took an hour and the Dentist Dr Chris and his staff were wonderful. Today my pain is gone and that is such a relief.

If it is possible to say something good about a root canal, it was that this is the absolute best one that I have ever had! The Doctors and staff at Geric Endodontics were amazing! Extremely friendly and skilled they truly do care for the patient. My procedure was amazingly comfortable and pain free after the initial numbing. Everything was carefully explained through the procedure and it was an all around great experience. Would absolutely recommend them!!

I could not have been more apprehensive about having a root canal. From the moment I walked into the office until the time I left I was made to feel very comfortable secure and relaxed. I was assured that I would have virtually no more discomfort than you would get with a filling and in actuality I had less. I would highly recommend this practice these people to anyone and if you have any apprehension don't worry because they will take care of you.

Well, I never thought I'd recommend a root canal to anyone, but I cannot stop saying amazing things about Chris (Dr. Geric) and the entire staff at Geric. Kristena greeted me, checked me in, assisted Chris with the entire procedure, and saw me out. I'm not sure if this is a typical experience, but I was done in just over an hour. The only pain I felt was the pinch of the anesthetic needle. Chris' obvious commend of the procedure-while dazzling, is not what impressed me most. I felt very present and part of the process; Kristena and Chis explained every step beforehand, no matter how seemingly insignificant (e.g. putting a lead apron on me, or raising the chair) to the anxiety-inducing steps (e.g. injecting the roof of my mouth, or using a loud drill). Before the procedure, I was given a preview of what to expect, and after Chris provided a recap of what occurred [spoiler: the preview paralleled the recap]. I have never been more at ease with a dental experience in my life, and if TV has taught me anything it is that root canals are just about the worst dental procedure one can have. I am so happy to have been referred to Chris (Christopher Geric). Currently at war with myself wishing for a reason to go back, and hoping for no future endodontic needs

I highly recommend Geric Endodontics! They are a very excellent and professional team. I had to have a microscopic root canal performed in order to save one of my teeth. Dr. Geric explained every aspect very well and was compassionate, professional, and very thorough. His assistant Katy was very pleasant and professional as well. The receptionists was very pleasant also. Thank you all for your dedication and professionalism.

This is my fourth root canal and my second with Dr. Geric. Dr Geric makes the experience a positive one by insuring you know what is going to happen and keeping you informed throughout the procedure. He insures you are well numbed to eliminate any pain. He and his assistant are absolute pros in these procedures. He mentioned that he does 1,000 root canals a year and his expertise shows. My first root canal was in the 90's and very painful. Technology has come a long way since then to make RC's much less painful. However, technology isn't everything in making the procedure tolerable; it is the way in which the Doc works with you to alleviate any pain and apprehension you may have. Dr. Geric is THE BEST at this. If you need a Root Canal I highly recommend Dr. Geric. You won't be sorry!

Fantastic experience at Geric Endodontics! I recently moved to FL from Chicago, IL where I retired from dental practice management after 30 years in the dental field. Dr. Christopher Geric and his wonderful assistant were attentive, caring, gentle and efficient. The office is beautiful and very clean. This was my fifth root canal....most pleasant by far! No one wants to have a root canal, but if you have to have one--you're in good hands here. They will talk you through everything step by step.

My name is Carolyn Kreid. Like many of the reviews, my experience at Dr. Geric's office was exceptional. The staff was great and the office was beautiful. I had many questions for Dr. Geric as I was not experiencing any pain or discomfort with my tooth. Fortunately, my local hygienist saw something and my dentist did an X-Ray that showed a small reabsorption problem. I was hesitant about driving into Jacksonville even though my dentist on Amelia Island assured me that Dr. Geric was the best endodontist in the Jacksonville area and boy was he spot on. The entire procedure was painless and I almost fell asleep. I took some ibuprofen when I got home and never once felt any pain or discomfort after the novocaine had worn off. I will recommend Dr. Geric to everyone I know on the island. His assistant, Hallie answered my questions, very pleasant, personable, ect..It took me an hour to get home and I had a smile on my face even though I coudn't smile due to the novocaine. This is the most pleasant a root canal experience could ever be. Dr Geric and his team are extremely knowledgeable, kind, considerate, and comforting. They made me feel the most comfortable I've ever felt in a dental office, excellent job at numbing I could not feel a thing for the entire procedure and have no soreness following. By the time it was over I felt I could've had another one on the spot if necessary. Kudos to Dr Geric and his wonderful staff for making my 2nd root canal experience a quick painless one. I generally have major anxiety in dental offices/chairs but have no fear Dr Geric is here!
