Pediatric dentists complete an extra 2-3 years of specialty training after finishing dental school just to learn about the unique oral health needs of children, including those with special needs. You take your child to a pediatrician, you should take your child to a pediatric dentist.

Your tricks to an easy-going filling, like wiggling your toes when getting the 1st novicane shot, has stuck with me forever! The first time that I had an experience with Dr. Santiago it was amazing, or so I thought... but unfortunately I have changed my mind. I feel frustrated and I wish this had never happened to my son and I don't want it to happen to anyone else! I can understand that a 4 year old is afraid and nervous in his first visit, but I cannot understand or accept an unprofessional and rude attitude coming from a doctor/dentist who is supposed to be kind and have empathy and compassion towards my son. We went to get two fillings done but he decided that one of them needed a crown and I believed him. After getting an injection, my son reached out to grab my hand while he was on the seat, and just because of that, the dentist tied him to the seat. Imagine how that scared my 4 year old even more. After the crown was done my son started to bleed a lot, they would try to dry it with cotton but they kept changing the cotton because it would keep bleeding and the dr. kept going and started the next tooth with all the blood still there. After that he told his assistant that he had to stop working on it because he needed it to be dry in order to do the filling even though he had already started, he didn't say a word to me and got up, told the assistant that I had to make another appointment to bring him another day and after that he left. I waited to get a second appointment and they never scheduled me. Long story short, now I had to go to a second dr to get advised and she told me that in the first place, the crown was unnecessary to do, now he has an infection because the doctor left it open and he now lost the tooth because it was too late to fix it, that now because of the trauma my son has, they need to apply general anesthesia to finish the job that was left undone. I truly wish my son didn't go through all this process. It all started with just a regular filling and ended up in us having to do a bigger job and pay a bigger bill for all that happened after the first visit. I spoke to the dentist about the horrible experience we had and how much it affected us, not only in the moment but moving forward and until this day, I am still waiting for an apology.

Words cannot express how grateful we are to Dr. Santiago and his team for always being there for us. The entire staff treats us like family and always goes above and beyond to make sure that our children are well taken care of. Dr. Santiago is extremely kind and has a wonderful way with children. We are extremely fortunate to have Dr. Santiago as our Pediatric Dentist and highly, highly recommend him.

Dr. Santiago and his staff are always so helpful and great with their patients! Everytime we have a problem pop up they are so accomodating and get us in that day to see us. The office staff as well as Dr. Santiago are just awesome. We have a child that was not too fond of going to the dentist.... it was ALWAYS a struggle to get him there, and they couldn't have been more patient and caring with him. Now, he has no problem going there and hes not scared!!! 100% reccommend!

Dr. Santiago is amazing, our 2 year old son had severe pain Friday night and the next morning of course the office was closed. I contacted the doctor Saturday morning and I had an immediate response from the doctor, he even met us in the supermarket parking lot to give me a diagnosis and he gave me peace back and that is priceless. In his office all the staff is incredible, attentive and very professional. I really feel happy with the care I received with my children during these years of attending his office.

So had an emergency our almost 5 year smack his teeth in a classmates head. Dr. Santiago who was not in the office took our son at his house for an emergency appointment can say enough about how unbelievable that was. On his day off had us come to his home and make our sons tooth was ok just amazing thank you

Took my 4 yr old here for a second opinion. So glad that I did! Dr. Santiago and staff are wonderful and they made the experience enjoyable. My 4 yr old said "that was so much fun" after getting 2 fillings. They didn't have to numb with a shot, the laughing gas worked perfectly and she stayed calm the entire time. Worth the out of pocket price.

Our two children have been seeing Dr. Santiago for several years. He and his staff are kind, knowledgeable and go above & beyond for their patients. Karen especially is exceptional at putting patients minds at ease. The office perfectly caters to making the dental experience a pleasurable one and my children genuinely enjoy going to see Dr. Santiago!

My daughter broke her two permanent front teeth on a Friday night! I was desperate looking for a pediatric dentist that would be willing to see us to assess the damage. Dr. Santiago was the only one who returned my call and was kind enough to see us after hours. He was super nice and professional. Because of him, we were able to sleep that night and patiently wait until Monday to get everything fixed. Highly recommend him!

I asked for recommendations from friends, and we ended up at Dr Santiago's office. The atmosphere is very peaceful and quiet. Front dest ladies are great! We got Mrs Sally for our hygienist. She mad my daughter feel so comfortable and relaxed. Now the fun part...we have anxiety issues. She needed two cavities filled and a tooth extracted. We found out on the first attempt that nitrous makes the anxiety worse. Three more visits to get the work done. They were all so patient and understanding with her. I couldn't imagine a better experience for an unpleasant situation . Thank Dr Santiago and staff.

My four year old daughter had a traumatic accident that knocked out her front tooth. We contacted Dr. Santiago right away and he met us at his office within minutes of reaching out to him on a Saturday morning. Very professional, great with young patients and beautiful office facility. We are so grateful to have found Dr. Santiago and will be a loyal client for years to come. Dr.Santiago and his team (Including the front office ) Although COVID-19 has altered the way we go about life , Dr Santiago and his team went above and beyond to make us feel both welcome and safe in uncertain times. They were great with my son . I can honestly say that every visit have been an amazing experience for him even today that for the first time went through 4 extractions - it was a pleasure procedure for him - he left the office smiling instead of crying . I can't say enough good things about Dr. Santiago! Today our son fell playing on his scooter and tore open his lip and chipped his two front teeth (after business hours). I texted Dr. Santiago with a picture of our son's mouth and he swooped in and within an hour his lip was stitched up and his teeth sealed. My son was nervous and must have asked him 300 questions while we were there... Dr. Santiago was so patient and kind the entire time. I can't recommend him enough!

Was there on Monday with my kids and as always a great experience from the moment we walked in till the moment we walked out. Alex and Olga welcomed us as we walked into the door and got us checked in, then soon after Karen and Mandy called my boys back and took great care of them and made them feel absolutely comfortable, Dr. Santiago walked in shortly after they had their cleanings and went over everything and explained everything throughly leaving us with no questions to be asked. On our way to check out Sally also stopped and said Hello as she was not able to take care of us this time since she had patients (but all the girls are sweet hearts there) Olga checked us out and got us scheduled for our next visit. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Santiago and his office staff as everyone is very friendly, knowledgeable, and get you in and out in a matter of time without missing a step!
