Dr. Gerald M. Winkler is a third-generation Dentist and has been practicing Dentistry since 1967. He completed his graduate work at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Vermont.
After two years of serving as a Dentist in the United States Navy and Marine Corps, he opened a practice in the Furnace Brook Parkway Medical Building in Quincy, Massachusetts. In 1988, he relocated his dental practice to Stoughton.
Dr. Winkler is a member of the American Dental Association, Massachusetts and South Shore District Dental Societies and is an accredited member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. In addition, for five years, he served as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Restorative Dentistry at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.
Two unique programs that set his office apart from others are his affiliation with Massasoit and LHI. Because education is so important to him, Dr. Winkler provides internships to train and certify Dental Assistants through the Massasoit Community College Dental Assistant Program. And as a Veteran, he is very proud to be a Dental Provider for the LHI Reserve Health Readiness Program, which prepares soldiers for deployment.
Dr. Justin M. Cifuni is a board certified Periodontal Surgeon who specializes in both Periodontology and Implant Dentistry. In addition, he is also a clinical instructor in the Periodontics Advanced Specialty Education Program at Boston University's Goldman School of Dental Medicine (BUGSDM).
Before attending dental school, Dr. Cifuni obtained a Master of Arts with a major in Medical Science from Boston University's School of Medicine. He was involved in research projects at both the university and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Dr. Cifuni continues to work on multiple clinical research projects with numerous companies as well with Boston University in an effort to advance treatments in the field of Periodontology. Currently, he is working on a number of projects pertaining to hard and soft tissue regeneration along with minimally invasive surgical therapies involving micro instruments and medical lasers.

My family has been using Dr. Winkler as our dentist for years now. Always happy to see you, super pleasant and friendly. Dental work is top notch with a lot of care given during any procedure. The waiting area (rarely need to wait) reception and the exam/dental areas are all spotless, bright and nice to be in. Is it odd to look forward to going to your dentist? I have referred many people because of these qualities but mostly because of the staff. A++++

I have been a patient of Dr. Winkler for over 15 years I have had a excellent experience every time I've gone for dental work. I am impressed with the technology and cleanliness of his office the staff is very friendly and professional at all times. I would highly recommend Dr. Winkler to all my friends and family

My wife referred me to Dr. Winkler a few years ago and I am so happy she did! I have had multiple successful procedures done and have never had a bad experience. Definitely one of the nicest dentist offices I have ever been to, I highly recommend Dr. Winkler's office.

I have been going to Dr. Winkler for the past 20 years and now my husband also goes to him. The office is state of the art and is always spotless. Dr. Winkler and his staff are truly fantastic, they care about each patient and always do a thorough job. Definitely a 10/10!

Place was clean and comfortable... until you walk into the actual room. I was utterly shocked to see another woman getting a cleaning maybe 4 feet to my right. Absolutely disgusting. Extremely unprofessional. Didn't see her through glass or because they left the door open, nope there were two chairs in 1 room and I've never been more uncomfortable.
