Dr. Chang is his staff are just wonderful. He has a great "Bedside" manner. He is very thorough as well as his staff. Anybody would ask me i would say... "Yes, go see Dr. Chang. You be very happy that you did"

I would like to give this practice the usual five stars that I have experienced for the past several years. However during this pandemic this practice needs to make sure the patient is properly protected against contracting COVID-19. I have type 1 diabetes a high risk factor for significant problems should I contract covid-19. This is noted in my chart. have been extremely careful not to put myself at risk. Sadly this practice put me at risk. The hygienist who treated me yesterday wore only a flimsy disposable mask. She got right up close to my mouth and was talking though her mask directly into my mouth when she placed x-ray film. Of course I had to remove my mask. I wasn't asked if I wanted to have xRays done. Had I known the risk I would have refused. I am aware that another hygienist in this practice wore two masks when treating another patient who I know personally. Why isn't this precaution taken consistently with all patients. When I spoke to the office manager Andrea today I tried to tell her not to get defensive about my experience. But of course she did. Sadly the dentist did not see me yesterday which he usually does to check teeth and the x-rays. The entire experience yesterday was irregular. Now I have to wait two weeks and hope I don't contract covid. If I do I will know exactly where and when. This practice needs to protect the patients consistently.

We are visitors from the UK, and my wife had a dental malfunction on the aircraft from Heathrow to Los Angeles late on a Friday evening. On the following Monday morning Dr Chang's office invited us to attend his surgery as soon as we called and 24 hour later, my wife's smile was completely restored, and we are completely confident that the advice given about further treatment on return to the UK is professionally totally sound. Dr Chang and his staff were sympathetic, helpful, kind and empathetic. We are profoundly grateful and can recommend Dr Chang and his team unreservedly.

Exceptional Dentist and support staff, we've been seeing Dr Chang now for 2 years and his staff goes out of their way to make us comfortable. I prefer the old method of cleaning w/o the Cavitron and they are great at working with me. I appreciate they are willing to deal with my insurer and all their requirements. Issues are explained clearly with the electronic x-rays. I highly recommend this team.

I received three cleanings at this office and each time the price changed. First $98, six months later I was charged $120, and yesterday I was charged $160. Each time I saw the dentist. They charge no insurance cash patients more than those with insurance. They do not disclose their billing system for cleanings. Find out first how these people bill for cleanings unless you like surprises. It seems cleaning fees are based on how you accept other services. If I had permitted a deep scaling the cleanings would be less expensive. I had the same hygenist Everytime.

I came to Dr. Chang after a bad experience with a Dentist in Palm Desert. He did a full set of x-rays for free and I got a fantastic cleaning from Cassi. He also did a great job reconstructing a damaged tooth. Definitely one of the best dentists I've been to ever.

New to Palm Springs, I searched the internet for a well regarded dentist close to home. Dr. Chang was one of many, but none of the others had consistent five star ratings. I made an appointment and visited Dr. Chang's office today. From the initial encounter at the front desk to the interaction with the dental tech and the hygienist, the entire experience was thorough, professional and pleasant. Dr. Chang saw me at the end and reviewed the x-rays with me as well as the hygienist's findings. Each person communicated well and, for the first time in my experience in any dental or medical office, the charges were explained to me with an indication of what my insurance would cover and what it might not. I will definitely recommend Dr. Chang to other friends who are relocating here as well as those who may be seeking a different dentist.

I had my regular cleaning yesterday at Dr. Chang's office and per expectations, it was great. Always on time, extremely friendly and caring plus great service. I've had other services also including a filling and the work has been first class. I would recommend his office to all. Robert Powell

I had my first appointment with Dr. Chang last week, and it was a fine experience. The office staff were very friendly and competent. Dr. Chang was thorough and explained everything very well. I had my cleaning and x-rays and we had our discussion regarding how I need to floss more and that was it. No unnecessary dentistry, just an honest evaluation. Thank you, Dr. Chang and Staff!
