Dr. Butz opened the practice in 1987, moving to our current facility in 2000. The doctor and staff frequently attend continuing education courses to keep up with the latest techniques and technologies. Our goal is to provide our patients with exceptional care in our professional and comfortable environment.
Dr. George Butz III was born in Ohio, grew up in Winter Haven, and attended Grace Lutheran School and Winter Haven High School. He received a BS in Biology from Emory University in 1980, and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Emory in 1984. He was elected into Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society. He completed a postdoctoral program in General Practice Dentistry from Emory University, Rotations included the Emory Dental School, the Decatur, Ga. Veterans Administration Medical Center and Grady Memorial Hospital. He returned to Winter Haven and opened his practice in 1987.
Dr. Butz is a member of the West Coast, Florida, and American Dental associations. Dr. Butz has been involved with youth soccer, and is on the board of Theatre Winter Haven. His hobbies include photography, restoring classic British sports cars and growing roses. The artistic touch required for these hobbies is present in his dentistry as well.

Dr. Butz and his entire staff are awesome! I have been to him a few times now and it is always a great experience. I have been looking for a new dentist for a couple of years now and so thankful I found Dr. Butz's office for me and my husband.

This dentists office is AMAZING First off, I have never liked dentists. Not afraid and the pain is not an issue. I just don't like being in the chair and some person having hands and equipment in my mouth. So stopped going. I paid the price. Dr Butz is by far the most personable medical professional I have ever interacted with in or out of an office. And not the annoying dentist type that asks you ridiculous questions while they are choking you with instruments. He kept me well informed of everything he was doing and made me feel extremely comfortable. I didn't have to say a word and I definitely felt like he had decades experience and attention to detail was key in his practice. Jaimie his assistant was a super sweet woman and paired the dr.'s level of care perfectly. Kim at the front desk is always inviting and accommodating. While I did think the prices were a bit more before I made the decision to go with Dr. Butz, the quality or work and experience was well worth it. And after I paid it was much more affordable then I realized.
