Dr. Papasikos has served as Chief of Periodontics, Prosthodontics and Endodontics at Mountainside Hospital. He has served as an instructor at the dental residency programs at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Mountainside Hospital and Overlook Hospital and a past Clinical Instructor at UMDNJ School of Dentistry.
Dr. Papasikos performs periodontal plastic surgery using lasers, gum grafts Pinhole gum grafts and implants to enhance and rebuild smiles. He is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, American Academy of Osseointegration, Northeastern Society of Periodontists, New Jersey Dental Association, New Jersey Society of Periodontists, West Essex Dental Association, Associated Physicians of Montclair and the Morris Seminars Study Club.
Dr. Papasikos certified and trained in Pinhole Surgical Technique, Lanap Laser Surgery,Wilckodontics, SFOT (surgically facilitated orthodontic treatment)and PAOO (Periodontally Accelerated Orthodontics).
An FDA-cleared laser treatment called the LANAP protocol offers a less painful, more Dr. George J. Papasikos is LANAP and LAPIP Certifiedsuccessful treatment alternative to conventional surgery. LANAP=LAR is the only scientifically, research proven methodology that results in true periodontal regeneration, new bone growth and gum tissue reattachment, minimay invasive and discomfort. The therapy doesnt involve instruments such as scalpels or sutures. Amazing place I recommend if your looking for an orthodontist. I felt really comfortable here. They were very willing to answer any questions I had. I remember Chirsty was a great help. Whenever she worked with me she always explained what she was about to do so I wasn't left in the dark which I really appreciated.

Dr. Papasikos is wonderful! He is caring, gentle and incredibly sensitive to his patient's comfort. His staff are equally warm, gracious and very competent. I highly recommend Dr. Papasikos . I've had extensive work done and I trust him. He is highly concerned with your well being, pain management and follow up care. Not too many out there like him left. He is a keeper.

Top notch doctors and practice. Great care, friendly staff, and we are seen on time! My 9 yo daughter has been going here for over a year, and she doesn't dread her appointments - which I think says a lot! They also don't try to oversell or push unnecessary work, which I really appreciate.

Outstanding Experience!! Lovely offices with a very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Dr Papasikos is an excellent Doctor and a kind man. My son and I just relocated after his braces had been removed at our previous orthodontists office and during the move my son lost his retainer. We were recommended to Dr Papasikos and upon calling with our situation were welcomed and taken care of as if my son was his patient all along. We were given a very reasonable price and a quick appointment!! Thank you Samantha and Dr Papasikos for everything.
