George Kostakis, DDS, PA is a specialty dental practice in Palm Harbor, Florida. Not only do we practice gentle dentistry, but we also offer multi-lingual service, with English, Spanish and Greek. We offer a wide variety of services, from cosmetic tooth whitening to porcelain fillings and perform root canals, crowns, extractions, dentures and bridges.
As dental experts, we plan any complex dental work in advance, anticipating possible bumps in the road so that your treatment progress is smooth. We use digital photos to communicate how you smile now, and how you wish to smile starting tomorrow. Finally, like a good builder, we make sure the foundation, your gums and supporting bone, is healthy and strong BEFORE we commit to making your teeth cosmetically beautiful.
Every year, our hygienists measure the gum pockets to make sure hidden gum problems dont endanger your teeth. We are your preventative watchdogs! My staff is skilled and determined to help you when you have chipped and dark teeth, sore gums or toothaches. We strive to help you sleep peacefully and comfortably each night too call us for information on sleep apnea. Our office is skilled in helping people who need a sleep aid other than CPAP.
I am motivated because of painful childhood experiences with a dentist who did not use novocain for fillings. Memories of that pain have driven me to provide comfortable care for my patients. I graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry in 1986. I began dentistry in Florida in 1987 and have been at my present location since 1993. I am happily married with three children, all boys. I get my thrill from making peoples smiles beautiful. I am committed to new advancements in dentistry that make my patients happier including cosmetic dentistry, digital photography and digital x-rays. My hobbies include accordion music, fishing, tennis, golf and traveling with my family.
I am from Massachusetts. I have been an assistant since 1980, and Ive been with Dr. Kostakis since 1996. My husband has retired from the United States Coast Guard and we have two daughters and three beautiful granddaughters.
I have been with Dr. Kostakis since 2000. I am originally from New Jersey but have lived in Pinellas County most of my life. I graduated from USF in Tampa and received my dental assistants certification from Central Florida Institute. My husband and I have a son and a daughter. Im happy to help you with your insurance questions.
I have been with Dr. Kostakis since 2002. I have lived most of my life right here in Pinellas County. I spent 20 years working in retail before making a career change. I have degrees from St. Petersburg College and Central Florida Institute. My husband and I Iive in Clearwater, along with our daughter and Mini-Schnauzer.
I graduated from Valencia Community College many years ago! Prior to and during the beginning of my hygiene career, I worked for the Walt Disney World Company in various roles. I have over 20 years of experience as a dental hygienist in general dentistry, as well as periodontal therapy. I volunteered for the Christian Coalition for the Homeless and the Navy Dental Clinic in Orlando as an assistant in oral surgery. My favorite thing to do is play frisbee with my dog, Urban! My motto is, Trying to make a difference one smile at a time.
I am a Florida native and was raised in Clearwater. My husband and I live in Palm Harbor with my daughter and his son and our 2 adorable dogs. I have an older daughter living in Los Angeles. Ive been a Dental Hygienist for over 12 years and prior to that, I was a dental assistant. In High School I had a part time job working in a dental office. As you can see, Ive been in this field most of my life. I feel blessed that I love my chosen career and it is my wish and my hope to help change the world one smile at a time.

You will not find a better dental office staff or better dentist! I have had nothing but excellent experiences as a patient here for the past couple years. Dr. K is phenomenal as is his entire staff. I would recommend to anyone and everyone!

For 10 years, I have relied on Dr. George and his caring team. From helping me recover from an accident that had me needing two route canals on my front two teeth to my regular check-ups, they take wonderful care of me each and every time!

I have been a patient of Dr George Kostakis for over 12years. I would highly recommend his services. His experience and compassion which sets him apart from the other dentists I went to before. His office staff is very friendly and they make you feel very comfortable while you are there.

Excellent! D.D.S. Kostakis replaced two fillings. No pain and all done within 45 minutes. Cleaning took about another 45 minutes and without any discomfort. Actually looking forward to my next visit.

About 1 and a half years ago I went for a basic checkup. I was told I had two old fillings that should be replaced with crowns. I had no issues or pain with these teeth but after reading the stellar reviews I agreed. The doctor said one filling was close to the nerve. After that tooth received a crown I began to feel intermittent pain leading to a root canal a year later. After two retreatments I still have a sensitivity issue. This is all the fault of a dentist more interested in making money than the welfare of his patient.

Excellent office from top to bottom. Had a cleaning and X-rays, and Regina was my hygienist. One of the best cleanings I have ever had. The ladies at the front desk are exceptional. Just an awesome experience all the way around!
