Dr. George Carr graduated from one of the elite dental schools in the country: University of Washington School of Dentistry. His class' ranking of 2nd in the nation on one of the National Boards is an example of his school's expectations and demands to create a solid dental foundation.

Relocating from Washington to Arizona immediately after graduation, Dr. Carr maintained his membership with the American Dental Association and his local dental society. During this time, he practiced in private and group settings. This helped facilitate and refine his dental expertise and knowledge, so he could assure you and your friends and family the best dental care possible.

Whether interacting in large group settings, or even in settings as small as two people, many would describe Dr. Carr as a very social individual, with a splash of kindness and genuineness. These characteristics combined with his extensive dental experience, allows him to successfully communicate in the dental world, and especially with patients.

Dr. Carr is also a fan of people watching, hiking, traveling, free weights, chess, movies, and hanging with friends. Additionally, he has an ethnic background consisting of Korean, Japanese, German, and Irish. Although he has taken classes in Japanese and German, English is his spoken language. In English, Dr. Carr is also a contributor to miniDentist.com, an up-and-coming way to put knowledge and power in the patient's hands.

Mauro attained his dental assisting education in 2013 at Carrington College. Appreciating the fun of school, he also enrolled as a full time student, in pursuit of his Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering. When hes not working or at school, he enjoys socializing with family and friends, as well as working on cars and building detailed models.

From the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out I felt very comfortable. I was greeted by a wonderful lady named Roxy. She was very delightful and helpful. I was then introduced to a very lovely lady named Emily which was doctor Cars assistant. She was very informative and helpful. She made me feel at ease as soon as she said hello and sat me in the dental chair. Doctor Carr himself is a very professional gentleman and I say gentle man because even though I had a very serious and painful dental procedure happening. I didn't feel a thing. Doctor Carr and Emily made me feel very relaxed and comfortable. I couldn't thank doctor Carr enough for the smile he put on my face. Literally. Thank you doctor Carr and associates.

The quality of the work by Dr. Carr and Associates was great in my opinion. He was always friendly and when I had questions, he could competently, and effectively explain the reasoning for all his suggestions/actions. In fact, based off the quality of the work, I would definitely return to get work done. However, the reception staff has made me decide to not return. I am a student, and did not have insurance at during my initial visit. They went over their non-insurance options which I have shown below, and I decided to go for the NP plan. It inquired that I had two cleanings that would be covered after I paid for the package in full, and they told me that the next visit would be completely covered by this plan. They asked me back in March (first cleaning) if I would like to schedule another appointment for 6 months in the future, and I distinctly told them "no" because I did not have my class schedule yet for the following semester, and it would not make sense for me to schedule something. Come 6 months later, I receive a text saying that I need to confirm or reschedule my appointment, or else I will be charged a fee. When I inquired about why there was an appointment scheduled, they said it was made on my previous visit. I knew instantly that I did not make this appointment, because 1) I know I wouldn't schedule something that I would clearly need to change, 2) I remember distinctly that I told them I did not want to make an appointment, and 3) There was nothing in my own calendar about an appointment (which I use for EVERYTHING, especially events 6 months out). For them to be correct, I would have needed to act illogically, have my own recollection be incorrect, AND have forgotten one of my main organizational behaviors (using my calendar). If I did not call them to reschedule, they would have ended up charging me a cancellation fee for an appointment I did not make. That alone seemed fishy, but I was going to give them the benefit of the doubt. Then once I arrive for the 2nd cleaning (which was already paid for) the first receptionist told me I needed to pay for the cleaning. I informed her that I had paid for a package which has two cleanings, and that I should not be paying for this visit. A different receptionist did some investigating and confirmed that I was in fact correct. I thanked her because they were both nice, but I was clearly disgruntled. On my way out, a different staff member from the first two said that they would be "taking care of the cost" of the visit, as if they were doing me a favor, and I was getting a free cleaning. When I pointed out the fact that they were not being gracious, and that they were simply doing the the job I already paid for, she acted annoyed with me for simply pointing that out. The other reception staff had to corroborate my story, I was not trying to get free service, just what I had already paid for. What is funny is that the person who walked in immediately after me had a similar problem where she thought that everything was covered, but her visit was going to be completely out-of-pocket, so at minimum, the correct information is not getting across to all patients. Lastly, they wanted me to sign a letter of consent AFTER the cleaning was done. She told me the letter of consent was for the appointment 6 months in the future, and I told her it seemed highly irregular to have a patient sign consent for work that would be done 6 months in the future. I told her if I returned in the future, I would sign it then. I suspect that they just forgot to have me sign it for the cleaning I went in for today, and were trying to pull a fast one, but I cannot confirm this. This does not seem like "a few simple mistakes", especially with the slight attitude from the taller, older blonde lady. The other two staff were friendly. But even if I take the case where it was just a series of unfortunate mishaps, it is still not worth the risk of them messing up more in the future, or scheduling me for appointments without my consent. Unfortunate, because I liked the actual dentistry.

The atmosphere and people there and kind and friendly. I went in for a normal checkup and cleaning after not going for a couple years due to moving around. They told me I needed a crown and multiple cavities filled, resulting in over a grand in out of pocket expenses after insurance. I got the work done and they said there was another spot that would need a crown shortly and other cavities filed at my next visit. I ended up moving away, and at the two dentists I have been to since, neither has thought the spot needed a crown and that the small "warning" spots I had needed filling. Now either my teeth managed to repair themselves, or Carr did work that wasn't really needed and cost me a pretty penny to do so.

I wanted to write a review for the best Dentist office there is. I was referred over to Dr.Carr's office from work. When I originally came into the office I was very nervous, I have never had a good experience with any Dentist I have ever visited and that would cause me to avoid going. The first young lady that took me back was their Dental Hygienist, her name is Erin she was amazing, she made me laugh, she was cracking jokes and made sure I was comfortable with everything she was doing poking around. Her service is what drove me to come back as fast as I could to continue the long road of work I had ahead of me. The next Visit I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. George Carr. He listened completely to what my priorities were, he told me what he suggested if it was his Teeth and we put that plan in place. The whole time he was working he was checking with me to make sure I was comfortable and not in any pain. He went above and beyond to make sure my visit was a great one, he actually fixed more than what my visit was scheduled for. The following week my wife went in to see them to have her front teeth fixed. She had her two front teeth that had worn down due to her bite and she would never smile for pictures and it was a big issue on her quality of life. She went in and saw Dr.Gyawali, the doctor fixed her front teeth and I have never seen her smile brighter. I came back in a week or so later and my front teeth were so bad I would hide my smile as well and it was a big issue for my personal happiness. I explained what a huge change Dr. Gyawali made for my wife teeth and asked her to do the same for me. Dr. Gyawali fixed my teeth and I can happily say she did a wonderful job, I actually look forward to Dental visits now, because I know every time I leave I feel like a million dollars. I want to give a huge shout out to all of their support staff and Dental Techs, the reason the doctors can be as great as they are, is because they have an amazing staff preparing their way. An last but no least, my favorite, the All Star Roxy! She is the office manager and the leader for this amazing team. She always makes me feel like family, she always goes above and beyond to work with me. She always goes out of her way to come in and explain what took place, what the future goals are, and she checks that you do not need anything or have questions. Roxy is the Bow on this amazing package. Go see them, you will be glad you did!

I cannot express how satisfied I have been with Dr. Carr and his entire staff. The care I've received has been outstanding. I have had the worst luck with dentists in the past. My previous providers have given me a horrible cap, almost broken my jaw, dropped a tooth down my throat and extracted teeth when not necessary. Dr. Carr on the other hand, saved my tooth, took the time to recommend the best course of action for my budget and has proven to be a great caregiver. Dr. Carr has earned my trust and I cannot recommend him and his team enough.

Dr Carr is by far the best dentist I've had. If you are looking for a dentist using the latest technology you should schedule some time with George and his team! If you don't have insurance they have great options to keep costs down.

I had scaling and root planning done this morning and April was my hygienist. She was thorough and made sure that I felt comfortable throughout the entire 2-hour procedure. She's the best! Dr. Carr was excellent. He took his time to examine my teeth and explain my treatment plan and options. I didn't feel rushed and I could ask him any questions. This is exactly the quality I look for in a dentist. Finally, the front office team was very friendly and kind! I highly recommend Dr. Carr and his team!
