Kierstin is a graduate of Utah Valley University, where she lived for 23 years before moving back to Georgia. Although shes been working in the dental industry for about 8 years, shes only been working in our office since 2021. It feels like shes been part of the team for many years, as she takes care of patients oral hygiene and educates them on the best way to achieve a healthy smile. Even though our office is full of experts, she wants YOU to be an expert on your own oral health. She loves working with patients of all ages and being a part of their care journey. Shes admittedly a nerd about dentistry (and health in general), so shes continually learning and keeping up with the latest advancements in dental technology and science. Kierstin loved exploring canyons and National Parks on the west coast with her five kids, and is now ready to explore Georgias hidden gems and the east coast as well. She was also able to explore Guatemala doing humanitarian dental work. Besides traveling, she loves paddleboarding, gardening, listening to podcasts or books, and spending time with her family.

Jennifer is a graduate of Ferris State University, Big Bay de Noc College, and Northland College where shes successfully completed her coursework to become both a registered dental hygienist and a certified dental assistant. Some of Jennifers responsibilities include collecting your medical and dental history, charting your dental conditions, and helping with emergency cases. Jennifer says one of the best things about her work is that patients ask questions, and she provides them with the knowledge and education theyre looking for. After becoming a registered dental hygienist, Jennifer pledged to continually improve her professional knowledge and skills to provide a greater degree of service to each patient in her care. Jennifer says she likes working with patients one on one and reminding them that one method of treatment doesnt work for all patients. When it comes to seeing the dentist during uncertain and often complicated times, you deserve added dependability and security. Please know that everyone in our Buckhead dental office goes above and beyond the already stringent sterilization and disinfection procedures we had in place before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our goal is to continue to provide all of our patients comprehensive, responsible dental care that you can always rely on for optimal oral health.

As you probably already know, weve always had strict procedures in place designed to heat and sterilize instruments and to disinfect treatment rooms. With COVID-19, were now taking even greater precautions to ensure the air within the entire office is clean. Weve now implemented HEPA filtration and UV air-light purification from AiroCide to our sterilization and disinfection protocols produced locally in Georgia.

All hand instruments are sterilized with heat using a medical-grade autoclave device. Treatment rooms are treated with surface disinfectants, and many surfaces are now covered with plastic barriers. We also use a water purification system in every treatment room to ensure any water irrigation being used is contaminant-free.

If youre currently a member of our dental family, then you know that the team at our dental office in Buckhead has always utilized disposable gloves, eye protection, and masks to ensure a safe, sterile environment. Were now using disposable gowns for procedures that are likely to produce aerosols.
