I would give Dr. McCandless & Her staff more stars if I could . We were referred to them for a second opinion after receiving horrible customer service from my daughters previous Dentist and I'm so glad that we gave them a chance . Everyone is super sweet , welcoming , understanding , professional , very knowledgeable, honest , caring and thoughtful. They always make us feel comfortable and take the time to return my phone calls & take the time to explain things to me . I truly appreciate everyone! Thank you !

Disappointed in the decision to go to one Friday open a month. For working parents this is often the easiest day to sneak away to deal with kids apts. Such a great doctors office, they are great with the kids and nothing better then being able to get in and get out quickly.

Been there twice, so far. First to get my kids teeth cleaned, second to get one cavity removed/ crown added. This group of people have their ducks in a row. Got called in at 11:00 for an 11:00 appointment...Start to finish was 30 minutes. Highly proficient with her skills. Confused by the 1 star experiences... my kids even mentioned how they like this dentist better than the last.

We have seen Dr. McCandless twice. The first time, we came to see her, she was short, blunt, and completely honest about the condition of my daughters teeth. Some parents might not appreciate her straightforward approach (by reading some of her other reviews) but I found it to be incredibly honest and gave me a better understanding of my daughters situation. She offered a treatment plan, pain management, and advice. Today, we had her treatment done under IV sedation. Dr. McCandless is incredibly compassionate and her team is supportive and highly competent. The anesthesia team is extremely comforting and helped put our daughter and us as parents at ease. They keep someone in the room with the patient at all times to monitor vitals and ensure everyone stays safe. Also, the final bill was much less expensive than anticipated...which I'm sure isn't something anyone should ever expect but, it was a nice surprise. I highly recommend this Dentist and plan to return to her with my other children.

Over the years, we've had the best experience here. We've tried several other dentists closer to where we live but I will happily drive to Tomball for Dr. McCandless and her awesome staff!

Not good with anxious children. We went twice and then found another dentist after she rolled her eyes at me when I apologized for my kid crying. Very surprised by all the glowing reviews as it was not our experience at all.

My children love coming to see Dr. McCandless and her amazing staff. They make them feel comfortable and explain what they are doing so they feel at ease. We are always seen on time.

We visited this location for years out of convenience with our 3 children even though their bedside manner wasn't always up to our expectations (Oftentimes the dentist came across as rude, although the support staff was always kind). About 6 months ago we found another dentist so we stopped seeing Dr McCandles. Well about 4 months ago we randomly started receiving bills (we hadn't seen them in over 6 months at this point) for the routine cleanings they'd done on our children. Upon receiving the first bill I called their office and it turned out they had our kid's linked to someone else's insurance which was why it was declined from the insurance company. They apologized for their huge mistake and promised to apply the correction to all of our children's accounts and that was the last we heard of it. Fast forward to last week we receive a notice that our account has been given to collections! When I finally am able to get their office to return my call they inform me that they resubmitted to our insurance and were paid, but that due to fees imposed by the dentist our insurance alone didn't cover their services. Mind you we've seen this dentist with the exact same insurance for years, but now suddenly routine cleanings aren't covered AFTER they billed the incorrect insurance? I would not recommend this dentist.

I have absolutely no reservations about recommending Dr. McCandless and her wonderful staff. It was our first visit today and it was a wonderful experience from the customized sign welcoming new patients to the toys and free t-shirt. My almost 3 year old son loved it all. The assistant/hygienist was so great with my son explaining all of her tools before using any of them. She and Dr. McCandless made him feel very comfortable. Every staff member I met was so sweet and friendly. Even better, they take out dental insurance. Thanks for a great dental experience for my son!

Amazing staff, Incredible Dr, we highly recommend this pediatric dental office! Today my daughter became scared during her pan experience and the office staff comforted her and was able to give her a wonderful diagnoses and take the pan. Thank you!

We love this office the staff is wonderful and they listen to parent concerns. Dentist offices seem to be a dime a dozen with franchise locations popping up everywhere. This is not a pop-up! These guys are top notch!

Today was my son's first visit & he loved it!! The whole staff made him feel comfortable!! Everyone was friendly & everything was super fast!! They made everything from checking in to billing super easy!!

Terrible. I called for a chipped tooth and they were so rude and talked to me like I was an idiot. Would never take my child here.
