It's this experience that hasled her to develop her own practice philosophy, which is to provide the highest quality care along with compassion and understanding for her patients.
Dr. Gentry and her team strive to provide the best dental experience possible. They pride themselves on getting to know their patientson a personal level, and they take all the time necessary to explain treatment procedures and to answer any questions so that their patients feelboth comfortable and informed. This is how she 's built her reputationover the years for providing the exceptional dental care, and it 's also why she was voted 'Best Dentist in Charlotte' and 'Nextdoor Neighborhood Favorite'.
You'll also notice that Dr. Gentry strives to provide the most current procedures available, and for this reason, she has invested in state-of-the-art dental technology. She also continues to takehundreds of hours of continuing education, in and out of the country,in order to best serve her patients. Dr. Gentry has advanced training in full mouth reconstruction, smile makeovers, veneers, sleep apnea treatment, dental implants, same day crowns, and microscope dentistry.
Dr. Marilee Weaver was born and raised in Port Orange, Florida. She graduated from the University of Florida with a major in microbiology and cell science and minors in chemistry and art history. Dr. Weaver then completed her dental training and an additional Advanced Education in General Dentistry postdoctoral residency with the Gators.
Since completing her formal education, Dr. Weaver has done continued education in the areas of endodontics, oral surgery, Invisalign and cosmetic dentistry. She trained at the Dawson Academy and regularly attends meetings with the local dental chapters. She received Fellowship Awards through the Academy of General Dentistry and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Providing the most advanced, comprehensive dental care in a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere is a priority for Dr. Weaver. She dedicates herself to understanding her patients' needs and exceeding their expectations. Dr. Weaver practices with the philosophy to treat every patient with compassion and a gentle artistic touch.
Carla loves getting to know each person on an individual basis and enjoys spending time talking with them. She says, I have a passion for working in the dental field and making sure the patients are comfortable. You cant miss her smiling face during your visit with us!
Janna joined our team in May of 2020 and has become an invaluable asset to our patients. She is a highly skilled hygienist who prides herself on being thorough but very gentle with our patients. Janna enjoys playing tennis, summer heat, and spending time with her husband and her pets.

Dr. Weaver and Whitney did a wonderful job with my procedures. Always let me know what they were doing, very little discomfort during and after the procedures. I highly recommend Gentry Dental.

Dentist is wonderful. I used to be a patient and loved Gentry. Decided to come back once I learned my dental insurance covered out of network. However receptionist is rude and continued to cut me off with a smart tone as I talked. My insurance fully covers out of network, but she explained I would still be billed out of pocket until they verified how much insurance would cover, and they wouldn't know that until they ran it after the appointment. Understandable... So I tried to get an estimate of what those costs would be for cleaning and X-rays, so I could be prepared to pay until I was reimbursed, but she could not even tell me the estimated cost of services that would be billed. I understand additional things may be needed at the time of service that increase the estimated cost - but how can you not provide the basic cost of cleaning and X-ray? I will not be returning on account of this experience.

I had a marvelous experience at Gentry Dental! Everyone was courteous and professional, and they scheduled a same-day appointment, despite the fact that I was a new patient and my case was not an emergency. And I'm just pleased with the result! My latest visit was successful and the service was just fabulous, beyond all my expectations!
