A member of theAmerican Dental Association,Michigan Dental AssociationandDetroit District Dental Society, Dr. Ahmed graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy Dental School in 2002. Born in Royal Oak, Michigan, he later went on to travel the country taking advanced continuing dental education courses from some of the most prominent minds in dentistry today. That expertise infuses his practice and offers his patients the best in dental care.
Dr. Ahmed enjoys gardening, tennis, basketball, and golf and shares a passion for health services with his wife, who received her Masters in Counseling and Art Therapy from Wayne State Universityin May 2011.
She considers it a pleasure getting to know all of her wonderful patients and helping with their dental care. Outside of work she has been married to her husband Tim for 33 years, has two adult daughters, Rebecca and Amanda and one granddaughter, Camryn. In her spare time, she enjoys attending sporting events, cooking and gardening.
Raised in Franklin and a university graduate in Science and Business with a BA. Lori believes the most gratifying part of her work is helping patients have confidence in Gentle Touch Family Dental Care and to have a comfortable and pleasant experience. Her husband Tim and she share in the joy of a daughter, 2 sons, 1 son-in-law, 1 daughter-in-law and two grandchildren.
With over 30 years of experience, Kelley brings a warm and welcoming touch toGentle Touch Family Dental Care. She believes the best part of her job is all the wonderful patients she gets to help each and every day.
Debbie has been a Registered Dental Hygienist for over 15 years; a prevention specialist in both private clinical practices as well as in a dental specialist practice. Debbie enjoys developing a close personal relationship with her patients and takes a keen interest in their oral hygiene success. She proudly resides in Union Lake with her husband and three young children. Seasonally, she enjoys boating and snowmobiling.

Great experience, I was terrified of the dentist but now that I know that a trip to the dentist can be painless, efficient and that everyone here will be so friendly, I have no worries. Update: Favorite dentist by far. Moved and I decided to still make the drive because they take good care of me. Was nervous about coming back to the dentist during Covid, but they have great safety protocols that put me at ease.

Since I moved to Michigan I've had a hard time finding a good dentist. But this is the place! The staff is very friendly and nice. The dentist is very professional and knows what he's doing. Highly recommend this place!

Hi, I had the worst experience today (12/2/2020). My appointmet was at 3PM. I fillled out all documents online a day before and got there well before my time. I waited till 5PM and then was told that the Doctor does not stay after 5PM, so I will have to re-schedule. The reason was given that the patients before me took longer than expected. I told them that they should take in consideration the expected delays in treatments while setting the appointments. So the patients do not have to wait unncessarily. Even if I re-schedule what is the gaurantee that this would not happen again. None of the staff seemed to care about the wastage of my time, loss of work, driving to and forth.

I've been going to Gentle Touch for a LONG time. Everyone is friendly, professional and very proficient. I would highly recommend them for all your dental needs. I have been coming to Gentle Touch Family Dental for many years and can't say enough good things about them! They are so friendly and very professional and cleanings are always done in a timely manner. They have taken great precaution with Covid and continue to make dental visits an enjoyable visit during this "new normal" Anybody looking for a great Family Dentist should definitely check these guys out!

First time back during COVID and it was the same great experience! Safety protocols are strictly followed. Sharon and the whole team were great! Love the team at Gentle Touch. Staff is very friendly and makes you feel so comfortable. They provide thorough, thoughtful care. Highly recommend!
