Dr. Timothy Wachuta is a licensed dentist and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry after gaining his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Dr. Wachuta is originally from Wisconsin, but has made Colorado his home. Dr. Wachuta has accomplished all aspects of general dentistry, including preventative, restorative, surgical techniques, implant crowns and is certified in orthodontics. He has been practicing dentistry in the Denver area for over 23 years. In this capacity, Dr. Wachuta has built a reputation of quality care, with a positive, caring attitude for his patients and staff.
Dr. Wachuta is a member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, Metro Denver Dental society and the Clinical Foundation of Orthopedics and Orthodontics. He has volunteered and contributed to the KIND Association serving Colorado's children in need of dentistry and makes several donations to Project Cure.
Dr. Wachuta enjoys skiing, fishing, canoeing and spending time with his son, Christopher, and his twin daughters, Sabrina and Brooke. He recently raced in Maui, Hawaii, at the World Championship Xterra off-road Triathlon, and in 2000, he was part of a world champion team in Ultimate Frisbee.
Dr. Heilman graduated from the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans and practiced general dentistry in Shreveport, Louisiana for 35 years. He and his wife of 30 years, Beth, loved the great weather and scenery of Colorado so they moved to beautiful Evergreen, Colorado in July of 2018.

0 Stars! DO NOT VISIT! WORST DENTAL EXPERIENCE IN 40YRS!!! Wish I could leave less than 0 stars honestly! After moving to CO I gave this office a chance for much needed dental work, and couldn't have been more disappointed! Equipment, and services are from the from the stone age, and customer service is lackluster at best. After leaving this office after a few subpar service visits, they decided to send me a "phantom" bill for services NOT PROVIDED after I paid all my bills upon exit every time.....after I refused to pay the bill for the FAKE charges, they sent me to collections for services they NEVER PROVIDED after years of proving payment to their staff!

I love this dentist office & staff! I have visited Wheat Ridge & Denver locations and both are incredible! Fantastic experience from start to finish. Dr. Wachuta and his staff are friendly and welcoming. Everyone is professional and they made the experience as comfortable as possible. They don't try to sell you on services which you don't need, which is a rarity.

This is by far one of the BEST dental practices I have ever been to. Everyone is so friendly and professional. I feel confident in their ability to evaluate and clean my teeth. They have been my dentist office for almost 3 years now and I am sad to be moving out of state, otherwise would definitely stay with them if I could. I had a unexpected conflict with my original cleaning appointment and needed to cancel and reschedule. Unfortunately, there were no openings for 4 months. I requested to be put on standby for a possible cancellation. Within three days I was contacted with an alternate opening due to cancellation. I received an expert cleaning, which happily confirms my satisfaction with Gentle Smiles.
