We accept all PPO plans and most other dental insurance. Our front desk coordinator will assist you with your insurance. If you do not have coverage, or if you need help paying for your out-of-pocket expenses, we also accept CareCreditSM. We can answer your questions about financing and help you find a suitable repayment plan.

Dr. Tran received her Bachelors degree from the University of Texas at Austin. She earned her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry and has been with Gentle Smiles since 2004. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Dallas County Dental Society. Outside of the office, Dr. Tran enjoys sports, cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family and dogs.
Patients love Dr. Trans friendly and caring demeanor. She has a compassionate approach and treats all patients the way she would want to be treated. Dr. Tran truly wants the best for each person, and she always recommends treatments that are in our patients best interests. She also loves creating a personal relationship with each patient and seeing how they grow and change over the years. She sees everyone as a unique person, not simply as the patient.
Dr. Hoang attended Houston Baptist University, where he received his Bachelors degree in biochemistry. He earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry, and he joined Gentle Smiles in 2009. Dr. Hoang is a proud member of the American Dental Association, the Dallas County Dental Society, and the Asian Dental Society in Dallas. He has also been recognized as a mentor to future dental students during a summer enrichment program. For the past 10 years, he has provided dental services at a local homeless shelter, where he frequently serves abused women and recovering addicts. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Hoang enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis, watching movies, and gardening.
Dr. Hoang is known for his honest, direct approach to dentistry. He takes the time to educate our patients, keeping them informed about their options and helping them make the best possible decisions regarding their care.
Dr. David Miller joined the Gentle Smiles team in the beginning of 2015. With a Bachelor of Science from Texas Christian University as well as a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor of College Dentistry, Dr. Miller helps patients relax and feel at-ease with his calm demeanor, impressive patience, and great sense of humor.
Outside of the office, Dr. Miller enjoys spending time with his wife, Elizabeth, daughter Kate, and their two dogs, Shadow and Riley. Besides helping patients create and maintain beautiful, healthy smiles, he also enjoys carpentry, auto and marine mechanics, watchmaking, snow-skiing, boating, sailing, reading, and engaging in philosophical discussions with friends, colleagues, and loved ones.

Dr. Tran & Staff did an amazing job with my cleaning and crown.. super quick and efficient.. I highly recommend Gentle Smiles!

I went to this dentist to have a cavity work on, and this was my first time here at Gentle smiles on 10210 Scyene Road in Dallas, so while he was working on my tooth, he was getting agitated and aggressive with me because I couldn't hold my mouth open like he wanted me to, my mouth was so numb I couldn't fill my cheeks, so he started pushing my cheek open really hard with his fist. and slamming drawers' & stuff on the counter I could see his female assistance getting scared at his behavior, but I keep calm during the whole procedure I Thank him for his service, paid in full and left the facility, I notice parents with their child there when I walked out hopefully this don't happen to anyone else or someone child, I will never go back to this Dentist ever again!! WORST PLACE FOR DENTAL WORK!!

Dentist was great. Very professional and informative. Reception staff, however, treated me with disrespect and scepticism. I was told I needed 4 extractions and even though insurance would cover all 4, they said they'd only be able to do 2 of them. When I got my insurance provider on the phone to guarantee payment, the receptionist wouldn't even talk to her and then changed the story to "we don't have time for all 4". Later when I offered to pay for the other 2 myself, magically there was enough time again. I had no intention of paying for them, was only a test. She failed miserably. They're more or less saying "we don't want your business" so I left. Hopefully the dentist has a good savings account because he'll be lising alot of business.

Dentist real professional might be related to johnny dang ...staff really informative and nice Maria in the front desk does an awesome job explaining things I take my 3 younger kids there also and do a great job I highly recommend this place to people.
