Dr. Avis M Sadre was born in Winfield, Kansas, a farming community of less than 13,000 people.Dr. Sadre is the proud mother of 3 children, Alec, Aryanna, and Reza and is wife to Jimmy Sadre. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, likes to run, and try new recipes. Dr. Sadre has a passion for dentistry and a true love for her occupation.
Her dreams of being the first in her family to go to college, took her to Manhattan, Kansas, home of the Kansas State Wildcats. She completed her undergraduate studies in Biology/Pre-Dentistry in 1999. Dr. Sadre then attended Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska. She graduated Cum Laude from Creighton in 2003 earning her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. During her time at Creighton, Dr. Sadre was selected for a scholarship with the United States Air Force.
After graduating from Creighton, Dr. Sadre completed the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency with the Air Force, earning Chief Resident status. Her travels then brought her to Phoenix, Arizona where she completed the rest of her active duty at Luke Air Force base. Dr. Sadre has been in private practice since 2006 since separating from the military.
Hi! Im Asia and Im your dental hygienist at Gentle Hands Dental Office. I want you to know a bit about me since Ill be working on cleaning your teeth when you come into our office and thats a pretty intimate situation.
My background starts with becoming a world traveler at a young age since my father was in the Air Force. Im the older of 2 children in our family; my brother is 5 years younger. I joined the U.S. Air Force at the young age of 18 and always had the desire to work in the medical field. While in the Air Force, I became a dental technician there and cleaned teeth for 8 years.
Next I went to Carrington College for an associates degree in dental hygiene and then Northern Arizona University to get a bachelors degree in dental hygiene. Im still in the Air Force as a Reservist. Im proud of the fact Ive been there for 17 years.
You could call me a girly girl. I love to be pampered with massages, facials, pedicures, and spa treatments. Im a self-proclaimed foodie so going out to restaurants or tasting new foods is fun to me. Im also an avid reader but dont like reading on electronic devices. My very favorite thing to do is traveling and seeing the whole world is my goal.
When you come into our office, you can rest assured that my frame of mind is that I know I can make a positive impact on your oral health, which will impact your life. I will listen to you to hear your wants and needs while being sensitive, empathetic, and we will work together in this pursuit of better oral hygiene. I want to live up to our office name, Gentle Hands, with you.

Will definitely recommend to my friends....Asia was so caring and comforting and explaining every thing she was going to do in the cleaning process. Update: Not so thrilled now. I had a cleaning and update on my treatment plan. First, I received an attitude from my hygienist about flossing. Then, I saw a new dentist who came up with new things to spend on. I asked about my teeth feeling looser, but that was not brought up again. I was given a quote for over $12,000 for two implanted teeth, with insurance. Maybe to pay for their fancy new 3D imaging device? Then, my insurance attempted to charge me for getting a periodontal cleaning, stating there was no history of having it prior. I had it done last time at this location. Finally, I called Dr Sadre to follow up, as she was my original dentist, to inquire about possible temporary solutions for my missing teeth, and to ask about my loose teeth. No one bothered to call back. Very disappointing. So far so good! First appointment of what will probably be many. No wait, straight to the point and automatically gave me options for my restoration process.

What I find the very most disturbing today about professionals is there inability to give as much respect to their clients as the client is expected to give them. Especially when the client has given them respect which is not returned. Very, very serious discontent with this business and sent an email to Dr. Sadre. Staff confirmed that it was received. No response whatsoever and it has now been 2 weeks. My complaint was extremely valid I will give the details later. I received an email from Dr. Sadre basically firing me as a patient. There was no mention of the serious issues I had with how the process went down and what failings were made by the office. There was no responsibility taken, no apologies, nothing but the ending of our professional relationship. May I add that on top of the poor communication that led to me getting a bridge instead of an implant, the front desk woman, Joy, Literally lied to me about getting a $200 gift card if I agreed to do the services today(this was as I was asking her about details on the estimate she handed me as I was in the dental chair). I repeated what she said and asked her to clarify and she did clarify that what was left over after insurance paid could be applied to that $200 gift card. Then I get a bill for about $200 after I had paid it all at the door. She then says the gift certificate is only for if you do not have insurance. Just the opposite she said when I was deciding whether to do the services that day in the chair, or pause and check other prices. She has been working there sometime and knew exactly what and how she was saying to me in that chair. It was a lie to just get me to say okay lets do this now. Pretty twisted behavior for what looked like a very nice dental office with like FIVE STARS!!!!

Hands down the best dentist office around. Measurable improvement in my dental health thanks not only to Dr. Sadre, but to Asia, the best dental assistant ever. She showed me better techniques for better dental care, and thus those measurable improvements! Very glad I found Gentle Hands Dentistry. Fees are very reasonable, too.

Love love love Dr Sadre and her staff. Everyone is very professional and compassionate. My whole family are patients here and they treat us like we are part of their family. Best dental office ever! Just a follow up to a previous review: my family and I have been patients at Gentle Hands Dentistry for well over15 years. (I've lost count) Dr. Sadre and her staff are compassionate and understanding to our needs. Joy is extremely knowledgeable, caring and proactive. She ensures that she understands the processes and pricing so that she can provide us with thorough answers and extremely over the top customer service. I honestly couldn't see myself going anywhere else for our dental needs. I highly recommend Gentle Hands dentistry for the entire family. Five stars just isn't enough as a rating.

I have to say I'm impressed by the front desk. When the patient walks in they pretty much do know you by first name. Very impressive! 5 stars. The technicians in the back my son has been seen by two different ones it seems to rotate out by those two very polite very caring very understanding. 5 stars. Now the doctor I would have to say a complete five star rating she cares about her staff that's evident by the way they greet their patients. The Doctor comes on the patient level which that's very impressive as my son is 13 years old and has challenges. The office visits are overall a 10 star rating it's relaxing and you can tell they care! I lead a very hectic life and and we all live that crazy hectic life but having that security that you know when you walk into that dental office that you will be cared for is vital! Thanks for for the reassurance!
