Dr. Arria is known for his gentle touch and painless dentistry. He holds two degrees, his Doctorate in Dentistry, as well as his B.B.A Business Administration from Marymount University. Dr. Arria completed his dental education in Europe with honors. When he returned to the U.S, he completed his residency at Mercy Medical Center in Canton, Ohio in 2008. Since completion of his residency, Dr. Arria worked as a general dentist and dental director in Cape Cod, MA, Winchester, VA, and Charlottesville, VA(where he served as dental director) and Harrisonburg, VA.
Dr. Arria's passion is to create beautiful and functional smiles, while keeping his patients comfortable and informed. Dr. Arria stays current with continuing education and dental technology in order to satisfy and deliver high quality treatment to his patients.
Dr. Arria is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Arria was also named one of 'America 's Top Dentist 's' in 2011, 2014, 2017 by Consumer 's Research Counsel of America.
After graduating dental school with high honors in 2006, Dr. Michelle Arria continued her post graduate residency in Canton, Ohio. Upon completion of her residency, Dr. Arria assumed many positions as a general dentist in Cape Cod, MA, Winchester, VA, and Northern VA where she mastered and performed dentistry to the fullest.
Dr. Arria continues to take classes yearly in order to stay current with technology and new approaches in dentistry. Dr. Michelle Arria, is very gentle, patient, and caring. She gets high satisfaction when her patients are well cared for and see them smile happy and big.
Dr. Michelle Arria volunteersat different dental and nondental events in her community for people in need. She is also a Court Appointed Special Advocate for neglected and abused children in the state of Virginia. Dr. Arria is a member of American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association and Northern Virginia Dental Society. She is also a member of Ladies America and an advocate for Lymphoma Research Foundation.

Dr Arria was amazing, I was in tremendous pain Sunday morning when I called for an emergency appointment. The practice staff were very polite and the practice itself very clean. Within a few hours I had a root canal addressed and on the mend. I would highly recommend Gentle Family Dentistry to family and friends.

Very professional and always accommodating. Have used them for eight years and they always offer excellent service. Had my wisdom tooth removed recently and got in at very short notice as an emergency appointment. Excellent service, regards to the team and Dr Adam Arria.

Very careful and caring treatment. Dr. Aria and his staff are outstanding. I had fillings and crown work done over a 1-1/2 hr period, and there was minimal pain and frequent checking by the doctor on any discomfort I might feel. Excellent results and highly recommended.
