Dr. Allison Beehner (formerly Buss) grew up in Towanda, IL and attended Normal Community High School. She then graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine and has been practicing in Normal since. Dr. Beehner and her husband, Brandon, live in Normal and are very active in the community, volunteering with the Bloomington-Normal Jaycees, and free dental clinics in town. They have three young daughters who keep them very busy. They also spend their free time cycling and competing in area bike races and triathlons. Dr. Beehner enjoys working with patients of all ages and looks forward to meeting the families in her practice as well as new patients!

At Gentle Family Dentistry, the dental work is done with a combination of many attributes, such as respect, compassion professionalism etc. For the customer. I visited GFD on October 25, 2022. It was a wonderful experience because the Staff were kind and the outcome was great. I visited GFD after been seen by another dentist about 20 years ago. I needed assurance that the dental work will go fine and I received a lot of care and assurances. Dr. Beehner is a great dentist and a wonderful person with a great compassion to wards her patients. Great experience. Even made an appt for my son who was looking for new dentist. Another great visit! After my dentist retired, who I'd gone to my whole life, I was sure I'd never feel as comfortable as I did there. I was wrong! Everyone is very professional and nice at Gentle Dentistry! Great Visit! Everyone is very kind and knowledgeable. I asked a few questions about Medicare and dental offers and received helpful feedback. Dr. Beehner discussed a future procedure on my front teeth. It was good to get a heads up so I can save up!

I personally don't look forward to going to the dentist, but the friendly and caring staff here make it the best possible experience. I have seen both Dr. Beehner and Dr. Chow; both are excellent. Today Sue did my cleaning and she was very respectful and patient dealing with my vertigo problems.
