Dr. Allison Beehner (formerly Buss) grew up in Towanda, IL and attended Normal Community High School. She then graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine and has been practicing in Normal since. Dr. Beehner and her husband, Brandon, live in Normal and are very active in the community, volunteering with the Bloomington-Normal Jaycees, and free dental clinics in town. They have three young daughters who keep them very busy. They also spend their free time cycling and competing in area bike races and triathlons. Dr. Beehner enjoys working with patients of all ages and looks forward to meeting the families in her practice as well as new patients!
'I graduated from ICC in 2002 and married my high school sweetheart in 2003. We have two kids, Jensen (7) and Ayla (2). I knew in high school that I wanted to be a dental hygienist. I 'm so blessed to be amongst a team of top notch dental professionals providing quality care in a family friendly environment. I love getting to know our patients and encouraging them in the oral health!'
'I graduated from the Dental Hygiene Program at Illinois College in East Peoria in 1997 have been practicing the past 20 years. I love working with such wonderful people at Gentle Family Dentistry. I 'm mother to Griffin (17), Ryleigh (14) and 2 cats. My other loves are being outdoors, traveling and watching The Packers and Cubs'
'I was born and raised on Long Island, New York. I married my high school sweetheart and later moved to Bloomington in 1991. After raising 3 children I returned to work and joined the Gentle Family Dentistry family in 2014. While working at the front desk, I enjoy meeting new patients and assisting them with their needs. I love spending time reading, traveling with my husband and visiting our kids and being a grandmother.'
'I am thrilled to be a member of the Gentle Family Dentistry team. I have been a hygienist in Bloomington/Normal over 30 years. I live in rural Chenoa with my husband Jim. We enjoy biking and visiting our grown children and grand daughter. I truly enjoy helping our patients with their dental needs.
'I am the newest addition to the Gentle Family Dentistry team as of August 2016! I grew up in, and currently reside in Lexington, IL, where I live with my boyfriend, Michael, my dog, and my cat. On the weekends I enjoy going hiking or to the library, and selling LulaRoe with my mom.'
'I grew up in Illinois and moved to Texas after marriage. There I managed a dental office for 26 years. When I relocated to Illinois in 2015, I had the opportunity to be part of this office. I get to work with wonderful, caring and compassionate women doing my favorite part of dentistry. Whether a patient is 1 year old or someone in their 90 's, I know they will all be treated as if they are part of our family. I enjoy spending time with my son in Ft. Worth, TX and my mother, brother, 2 sisters and 10 nieces and nephews, who live in Illinois.'
'After retiring as a school social worker for District #87 Schools, I was given the opportunity to join the Gentle Family Dentistry staff as a part-time Office Manager. I feel blessed to be part of such an amazing, dedicated group! Outside of work I enjoy spending time with our grandchildren, playing with our labradoodle puppy, gardening reading and staying connected with friends.'
'I joined the Gentle Family Dentistry family in 2015, but I have always been in the dental and medical profession. My husband and I have two grown children and one grandson. We like to spend our weekends either spoiling our grandson, following our favorite Southern Gospel music group around the country or going to flea markets.'
'I 've been a dental assistant for over 10 years and have two young boys that keep me smiling all the time. We enjoy walks/runs and swimming. My favorite hobbies are painting, exercise, cooking and helping others. The best part about working here is the staff! Everyone is kind and helpful we love making everyone who walks through the doors smile, too!'
