I have worked with Dr. Skinner as his office manager for over a decade. I have lived in Cache Valley my entire life and I love living in such a beautiful valley--I call Clarkstown my home now. Between time with my family (3 boys) and working in a dental office, I'm always on the run.Aside from my work at Gentle Family Dental, I love spending lots of time with my family.
I love working for Dr. Skinner, he is an amazing dentist and a great employer. We all strive to make your dental experience the best possible. Making lasting relationships is my favorite part about my job. I love the people I get to call my work family and all the amazing patients I call my friends.
By my age, you wouldn't believe that I've worked in dentistry for almost 15 years. My dad was a dentist and I assisted him while in high school. I loved working as a dental assistant then just as I love it now.
I love to greet all of our patients and make new friends (by far my favorite part of my job) and I love the variety of all the things I get to do assisting Dr. Skinner during the day. He's a great dentist that has built an amazing practice!... I love the people that I work with at Gentle Family Dental!
I have always wanted to work in a medical-related field and found a great fit in dentistry. I love being a dental assistant! Having the opportunity to instruct patients on proper oral health and seeing patients smile is my favorite part of working in Dr. Skinner dental office.
I love living in Cache Valley! I grew up in Nibley, Utah and didn't move very far--just north to Smithfield. I went to Dental Assisting School in Logan so I could stay close to family and now that I'm married, I hope to stay close.
I had braced as a teenager and was fascinated at how much teeth can change one's mouth and confidence and that's about when I decided that dentistry and oral health was the field that I wanted to work in. Now I'm a Dental Assistant and I love it!
I love seeing relief from pain and watching Dr. Skinner make a difference in emergency dental cases. I think it's amazing how we can treat almost all dental cases in the office because of Dr. Skinner's talents as a dentist.
This probably sounds weird but I absolutely LOVED my childhood dentist. Going to our six month dental checks ups were magical, fun and exciting. He was an amazing person and the dental environment was like no other--until I interviewed with Dr. Skinner.
I grew up in Salt Lake City but moved to Tremonton, Utah. I'm not surprised that many of my neighbors in Tremonton visit Dr. Skinner because his office is a lot like my childhood dental office. I've met patients that travel from Smithfield, Garland, Preston, ID, Soda Springs, ID and Brigham City, UT. As the Dental Patient Coordinator, I get to meet all the patients and I enjoy to hear about where they're from and why they chose Dr. Skinner.
I graduated from Weber State 4 years ago. I was raised in Salt Lake and have been in Cache Valley working for Dr. Skinner since graduating. I enjoy working with all our wonderful patients and helping to improve your dental awareness and make your experience great. I love time with my children, outside of Dental Hygiene, my time is spent with my family.
I grew up here in Cache Valley. I received my bachelor of science in Dental Hygiene from Weber State University in 2016. After traveling for 2 summers I settled back in Cache Valley where I want to stay and have worked with Dr. Skinner for almost a year now. I love Dental Hygiene because I love helping people improve their smiles. I also love the relationships I get to build with each and everyone of our patients.

Got a terrible toothache one night, called Gentle Dental first thing next morning. Got me in that afternoon between patients. Took x-ray, broken filling from long ago. One quick shot of novacaine. He and his asst worked like a well oiled machine. (I'm 68 years old and been going to different dentists for a long time, but this was SPECIAL!). There were tools and hoses and cups and saucers and grinders and pokers and prodders and every varied manner of gadget imaginable being handed back and forth within inches of my nose and the job was done within 20 minutes. They didn't even have to speak during the procedure it was remarkable. These people are incredible!

I love this dentist and all of his staff! He is gentle and he explains everything he is doing in full detail. He gives you all options and he is not out for money. His staff is kind and his secretary Stacey is so helpful in dealing with your insurance and getting you the best price. Look no further you have found your people!

I just had my 1st visit and everything was great. The staff was very professional and helpful in helping to determine the right savings plan and course of treatment for me. Dr. Skinner was great and answered all my questions. I highly recommend them.

I had a great experience with Dr. Skinner. Lots of fillings! But I didn't feel pressured. He talked through everything, and gave me a chance to ask questions - and make sure I felt good about what we were doing. The procedure was long - and they did a really quality job. I felt taken care of.

Dr. Skinner is a wonderful dentist who shows as much interest in his patients as he does their teeth. He wants bright smiles, but even brighter relationships for his patients. He is always thoughtful and kind when explaining needs and procedures and allows the patient to decide what is best for themselves. He is sensitive to fears of the patients and will do everything possible to prevent those fears.

The office, and everyone there are so warm and inviting. First time getting a root canal ,boy was I scared. The staff really eased my mind. The procedure was quick, I was able to watch Netflix! The dentist Skinner, told me every step what he was doing. The nurse I had was amazing! I have insurance, however There is still some out of pocket expenses, which the front desk lady is letting me make payments! . It has been @ least 15 yrs since I seen a dentist, and this visit was amazing. Went home with no pain. Once the numbing meds went away, I had very little pain, in fact I didn't even need to take ibuprofen. This dentist is A++

Dr Skinner is very professional and explains all of your options. He doesn't seem like he is forcing services on you but that you are part of the decision. His staff is very friendly and keep you informed through everything. They become like family and know you on a first name basis.

Wow! My first time at the dentist in years & years, I was anxious and had bad memories of what going to the dentist was like.... but.... this place has changed my mind about the dentist! Today after getting my cavities filled I said " if you were my dentist from the beginning I would have never stopped going to the dentist" and I mean, really you guys!!! Everything is up to date, the tech and gadgets are really cool and not nearly as invasive as the old school stuff was. Not only are the procedures, wether cleaning ( which I did last week) or cavities, very gentle and easy to go through, but the people there are awesome! Had a lovely conversation about singing to plants, gmo bunnies and learned a lot about what actually happens with tooth enamel. During my first appointment I admitted to hating mouthwash no matter what I've tried and they even gave me a sample of some mouthwash that to my surprise I love, I just think they are constantly going above and beyond there. The two times I've been , I've had very quick and easy appointments, the financing they provide is awesome as well and I generally feel very taken care of and not afraid to book my next cleaning in 6 months! Thank you guys, for helping me take care of my teeth and feel important in your office!
